Sebastian eagerly sounded them off, wanting to see if Damon could keep up with them.

Rya and Gray grinned as their gitarres hummed to life Gray playing Bass and Ryan electric. The speed was moderate but with the teasing under lines making it known that the speed would pick.

Rail smile happily as he let the first note fall form his mouth the first nite was always the most important. It set the mood and voice. He sang softly lettig his talent shine through.

Damon, despite his concerns, was able to easily keep up with their pace. His notes were skillful, quick and drawn out when they needed to be.

Sebastian could play his drums without even looking at them. He was just that comfortable with them. Instead, he focused on the sheet music.

Ryan smirked happily as the bridge came and Rails normal sweet alluring voice changed to a dark seducing scremo sound. The bridge was incredibly fast at least for gitare and piano. The vical as gag a scremo went were unusually slow.

Damon, being rusty, was just barely able to keep up, but he managed to hit every note correctly, studying the sheet music intently.

Rail smiled happily as the song came to a sudden stop right in the middle of a cord. Rail smiled the songs lyrics were a big build up over whether a man (sung in first person) killed his wife or not who he found dead next to him when he woke up. The lyrics stopped right as the man was about to say wether he did it or not.

Damon seemed to enjoy playing, but he was still a little overwhelmed by the speed. He would need a lot of practice.

Rail sighed placing the mike down thinking. He smiled as he switched it off. First he looked at Gray, "On the second verse you need to slow down a bit more I think..."

"Got it..." He said marking the music.

"Damon good for a first time....you just need to practice...uh...Sebastian anything I've missed?" He asked thinking.

"Not that I can think of," Sebastian mused, brow furrowed. "Want to play through it again? Work out any more kinks?"

Damon seemed incredibly relieved that he had played somewhat well...he'd expected that his being rusty would make his music sound awful.

"Yes please...I know I screwed up the second part of the bridge rift..." Ryan said with a sigh.

Rail nodded, "Okay sounds good...."

After a few minutes, once everyone was ready again, Sebastian sounded them off once more. He'd only messed up one note last time and was proud of himself.

Rail sang happily hitting the notes and make transitions easier than he had the first time.

Ryan smiled happily as he hit the rift correctly this time.

Damon seemed to have the hang of it by now. He even had a slight smile on his face.

Sebastian also overcame his screw-up from last time. He hit the note just right, and a smug smile was plastered on his face.

Rail sighed as they finished, "Okay that was better...Gray still a bit fast..." Gray scowled playing the rift over forcing it to go slower. "There you go that's good..."

Damon watched them, not making too much of an adjustment to his music. He seemed content with it.

Sebastian eyed his music over a few times before nodding to himself, knowing he could work with it and make tiny adjustments if he really needed to later.

Ryan happily plucked away repeating his own rift.

Rail hummed under his breath thinking about the lyrics as he hit the notes.

Damon studied the music for another moment and then returned his eyes to the floor, shyly.

Sebastian stretched. "You know what? I say we all go out and do something fun tonight," he blurted out, grinning. "We haven't done anything fun together since..." He trailed off for a moment, obviously meaning since Gregor died. "Plus, it would give us all a chance to better acquaint ourselves with Damon."

Rail twitched for a second looking down but nodded agreeing.

"Yes please!" Ryan said happily.

Gray nodded eagerly, "Agreed! We need to all go out and party! It'll be good press for our new bandmate! We have been out of the papers for a while..."

Sebastian nodded, content, and then glanced at Rail. "Rail. What did I tell you? You have to relax and let go. It's not fair to us, it's not fair to Damon, and it's not fair to you. Please."

Damon seemed happy with the idea of doing something fun...

"I'm trying....." Rail said softly looking up.

Ryan frowned looking at his friend.

Gray gave Rail a hug, "Come on we'll go out and party and you'll feel better!"

Sebastian nodded, patting Rail on the back. "Let's just have fun tonight. Where should we go?"

The loose term of 'partying' unnerved Damon slightly, for he wasn't fond of social events.

"Some place smaller...I don't want fans kidnapping Damon..." Rail said with a chuckle.

"Yeah...no fans...are there any private parties?" Gray asked.

Ryan whipped out his iPhone searching for invites, "Uh....yeah...Mainstream or Underground?" He asked looking at Damon.

Damon looked utterly confused at the two words and offered up a meek shrug.

"Mainstream will have more popular artists but will also have tons of paparazzi....Underground will be more rock and metal bands but will also be a bit shady and have several fans...but very little paparazzi..." Rail explained looking at him, "It's where we go when we just want to chill and maybe jam a bit..."

Damon looked a little horrified and bewildered at both, and he glanced downwards, playing with his fingers. "I...I don't mind either..." he offered, lamely. He felt like such a social idiot...and he was, in a sense.
