Our tub needs a good scrubbing before using it for a bath, too.

Our plug is broken as well. XD

But our tub is clean. My mom washed it yesterday...I think mainly because it isn't draining well...even with all the draino and whatever other brands there are to help it. We kill the drain with our hair. XD

Baths are awesome. Just look at the captain of the golgafrinchiams :) He's always so happy for a reason: he's always in a bath. Anyone who knows what I'm referring to is awesome.

Jumping in here. Used to take barbie dolls in the tub with me and they were mermaids. >.>;

I had dolls too. they made some that were for playing in the tub

I never saw those. :O When I was little our family had an above-ground pool and me and my sister would take our dolls and play Laura Croft in the pool. xD

We had one of those three foot high metal frame with plastic lining kid's pools when I was young. It eventually wore out.

I'm more of a sprinkler girl. I love playing in sprinklers.

I think swimming is better. XD

I'm not big on swimming since I'm bad at it.

I remember as a child, playing in the water from the fire hydrant.
During the summer, the firemen would come and put a special adapter on so that we could play in the water.

fire hydrant?! that's pretty cool!

I rather doubt that they do anything like that anymore.

Right before they left, they always had us sit with our backs to the hydrant.
Then they would turn it on full blast, and we would all just shoot right across the street!
It was so much fun!

But now I suppose they would worry about kids getting a few scratches or something from it.

haha, I wish they still did that. it sounds like a whole lot of fun!!

This is such a litigious society now, I'm sure they are afraid that somebody may get hurt and they would get sued.
It's very unfortunate.

It does sound like wet fun, but eventually someone would probably sue.

We did quite a few things when I was young; things that would never be allowed now.

I read an article once about all the ordinary kid stunts the author did that would not be allowed nowdays.
