It was a darker human night as a figure ran swiftly through the streets of a large city. In his arms was a girl that looked to be about his age with long icy blonde hair that almost touched the ground from the boy's arms. His silver hair was blown back slightly revealing his crimson eyes as he ran.
"Are they still behind us?" He asks.
"Yeah, but they are cloaking themselves. I will get them if they appear though." The girl says closing her deep blue eyes and focussing. "Here we go." She smirks before she opens them and holds out her right hand over the boy's shoulder.

A huge stream of ice flew from it and hit a building causing a large portion of it to fall.
"Got 'em" She smiles at the boy.
"Good job sis, but now it's time we got out of here." The boy hisses before a large darkcircle opens before him and his sister. He runs straight into it and then disappeared into the dark and cold night air.

The night was cool and dark, with barely a sliver of a moon in the sky as the young woman walked along the sidewalk, hugging her jacket tighter around her. She had decided to stay and help clean up instead of leave her drama class when dismissed, and now, the sun had already set.

With a sigh, Kazia realized she had underestimated the walk she'd have to take to get back home. Sure, she could call her parents, but they were probably busy with taking care of patients and helping children get better, so she couldn't interrupt such an important task. Walking along, she nervously looked around every so often, but soon relaxed, seeing the next curb was right before her neighborhood.

There was only a sudden gush of wind and a dark portal to warn anyone that Malfious and Fate were reammerging from the darkness. Instantly the twotakea deep breath and Malfious falls to the pavement still holding Fate.
"Phew...that...was a lot...of work." He breathes as Fate squirms out of his arms.
"Well good job anyways...do you think you ran far enough away?" Fate asks looking around the suburban area. She was surprised at how closely the human plain resembled the demonic one.

Shivering as a gust of wind blew past her, Kazia looked around, wondering where the sudden breeze came from. Trying to brush aside her nervousness, she attributed her uneasy feeling to simply being tired and paranoid. Nothing to be scared of. She was almost home. Paying no notice, she failed to notice the two demons not 5o yards from her.

Malfious sighs as he looked into the darkness. It was not quite as dark as he was used to, and he had absolutely no trouble seeing everything as though a human might see if the sun was out. He raises an eyebrow as he spots a young girl walking down the road.
"So now what?" He asks not drawing his eyes from the girl.

"We find a human to bind with and then we live here." Fate says following Malfious' gaze.
"Well Ifound mine." Malfious smirks.

((Don't worry, Gavin will show up, just in the day after the initial kidnapping, you'll see why))

Kazia sighed, pausing in her steps. Bending down, the young redhead pulled her shoe off, emptying an offending pebble from within. As soon as she got rid of the object, she placed her shoe back on, standing to brush herself off. It had been a long day, and she wanted nothing more than to eat and go to bed.

Hiking her backpack further up on her back, the girl shivered, wondering why she felt so uneasy tonight.

Malfious sneers before he fadesback into the shadows. He reappears by the girl and smirks before he moves closer.
"Excuse me." He says in a very cool and charming tone. "Could youpossibly offer me some assistance?"

Turning bright red, Kazia squeeked a bit, stepping back from the male who had seemed to come from nowhere. Kind by nature, the female nodded, a feeling of uncertainty creeping up her spine. "I-I can try...It depends on what you need....What seems to be the matter?"

"Well my sister Fate and I, well we..." He trails off before he looks down. He forces his shoulders to shake vigorously and digs his nail into his palm to force his eyes to water before he looked back up at her. "You see miss, our father is always out getting drunk and when he comes home he likes to hit the two of us. We just had to run away before he did something really bad to my little sis and now we have nowhere to go." He lies in a shaky voice. Malfious had always been quite the actor.

Instantly, Kazia felt her heart go out to the young man and his sister. Placing a hand on his shoulder, she nodded in understanding. "I-I'm so sorry. I'm sorry there is not much I can do. Perhaps I can take you to the police station to report it? Then, maybe...if you are financially able, you should buy an apartment or something, and I know of a few little houses and apartments nearby."

Malfious looks at the girl.
"But they will take us back, we have tried before. They will take us back to him and he will kill us." MAlfious lies. "May we please stay with you just tonight?"

The female bit her lip, truly wishing she could help, but, she highly doubted her parents would agree to inviting two strangers over.

Then, with a smile, she realized a solution. "My parents bought a condo for me for when I move out, or for my grandmother if she accepts it so she can live close to family. I can sneak you guys in there!"

Malfious looked at the girl happily.
"That is great. But is anyone around there that might see us?" He asks.

"No, I don't think so. If they see me with you, they won't think anything of it if I personally bring you, then they'll not question it. Well, I guess I should bring you."

Malfious smirks at this before he lunges forwards at the girl and embraces herin a hug.
"Thank you so very much. I am sure that this will mean a lot to my sister." He smirks looking back towards the direction where Fate was last. He was surprised to see that she was no where to be found. "Where did she go?" He asks himself.

With a startled gasp and squeek, Kazia flushes and waves as if it were nothing, feeling slightly nervous about the hugging, but maybe he was just very grateful? In any case, as he looked for his sister, the redhead grew worried. He's be so distraught if he went through all that, only to misplace his sibling. "W-we'll find her, she can't have gotten far."

Malfious looked around and then sighs.
"Where did she go?" He frowns wondering if she had expected him to bind with the girl at that moment. Surely she would have waited, but knowing Fate, there was some greater plan involved.

"P-perhaps we should look for her? I'll help you. She should be nearby...um...is there a name I should call her by as we look?"

Malfious looked at the innocent girl for a moment before he takes her wrist.
"Come on I think I know where she went." He says leading the girl. He was lying of course, but he was also looking for a good spot to initiate the bind.

Fate looked at her brother from a distance and she couldn't help but feel bad for leaving him alone. She told him how to properly do the binding, and although she had always been the one that wasgood with magics, he had to learn this one on his own.

Kazia nodded, following him and wondering where on earth his sister would have run off too. It made no sense! If they were alone and scared of their father, they would have most likely stuck together! Come to think of it, they didn't look deformed, scarred, or any less for wear except tired.

"U-um... How often did you say this happened? and when did you run away?"

"Hmm? Oh-well dad would always hit us like every day." Malfious lies not paying too much attention to the girl. He was becoming annoyed that he had been left alone and all he wanted to do was find a place to keep the girl. He knew that what he had to do would ruin her life, and he felt bad for it, but he was not going back.

For a moment, she accepted it, but he seemed...distracted...but not just about a sister. If he was worried for his sister, surely his eyes would be filled with concern, not annoyance? Starting to pull away, Kazia felt an uneasy sensation in her gut, her heart pounding.

"I-I'm sorry, but, are you sure you know where you're going..you seem...off...."
