Name: Lyoko Flynn
Nicknames: Lyo or Crimson
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Appearance: Lyoko
Brief personality: A bit of a coward, even if he tries to act brave. He doesn't like physical fighting but isn't afraid to get mean verbally. He has a bit of a sharp tongue that gets him in more trouble then he'd like. Lyo doesn't like getting too close to people but he does have a few very close friends and he is loyal to anyone who earns his respect.
He blinked, groaning as with consciousness growing, so did his pain. Gazing blearily up at the surprisingly blindingly blue sky, he winced a little before closing his eyes again. Wouldn't it be good to just lie here, not move? It would be better then trying to get up and find out what happened. The second option involved a lot more pain. Sighing, Lyoko Flynn frowned before sitting up. At once he gasped, feeling as if the breath had been knocked out of him. A rib was broken, definately, judging by the agonising ache in his side.
Slowly the young man took in the sight of the damaged, shredded metal that surrounded him. The roof of the plane had been torn clean off, explaining why he saw the sky previously. The plane had crashed. Frowning, he turned his head, feeling the bruising as he did. The plane had crashed, but how? They had said it was a one in a million chance the plane would crash, it was why he was on it in the first place.
"Stuipid friends...I told them...I didn't need...A gap year..." He grumbled, speech slow and slightly slurred. Lyoko didn't want to look around much more. Judging by the lack of reaction to his waking, he had a strong feeling no one else was going to be moving around any time soon.
Lyoko groaned in pain as he reached up to grab the top of one of the seats and push himself up. He was leaning heavily on it, panting from the effort. "W-where am I?...A-are we in...Africa?" He mumbled, staring in surprise at the plains surrounding him. This was certainly not something you saw in Ireland every day, especially the wild, native-to-Africa animals that were slowly approaching the wreckage again.

Name: Miration Ceinlys
Nicknames: Mira, Mimi
Age: Twenty-two
Gender: Male
Species: Forme (Half-human, half-animal...a god-like creature that lives in a different dimension, normally.)
Appearance: Human and Lion (Albino)Brief Personality: Uptight, bitter, and easily annoyed. Is usually a calm person and rarely fights, but can get violent if provoked enough. Is a big meat-eater. Has issues with older adults and most human beings. His uncaring attitude and big mouth tend to scare people away from him, and get him into a heap of trouble. He is not fond of humans and will often try to scare them away.
Away from some of the other animals, which blended in to the environment, there was an approaching pride of lions. Behind them was a straggler, one that hadn't been accepted into their pride but helped them out. He stuck out like a sore thumb. He was a magnificent, large white lion, with pale blue eyes. He was much larger than the male leader of the pride--who seemed quite wary of him--but he looked like he hadn't been fighting for days, even weeks, so the leader must not have had any problem with him.
The straggler's stark white appearance scared away some of the other animals, since he was easily visible among his cohorts. The only animals that didn't seem scared or wary of him were elephants--there was a small group of them hovering along a nearby water hole.
The lions were approaching rather quickly. The straggler broke away from them and padded closer on his own.

Turning his head very slightly, Lyoko grimaced again at the pain it send. He thought he could hear something approaching, but that couldn't be true. The animals would still be too scared to come near right.
But, he paused for a moment before a look of fear flashed over his face. What if they weren't the herbivores he could see? What if something like lions or leopards were coming after him? Biting his lip, he concentrated on that sharper pain, it hurt less then everything else but let him keep his attention on it. Turning again, he stiffened, his fears becoming recognised straight away. The large white lion was approaching, and that would mean there were others near by.
"G-go away M-mr Lion!" He called loudly, attempting to look bigger than he was, despite the fact he knew he was pretty small and thin which wasn't helping hihs plan.
"I d-don't taste nice! A-and I'll e-eat you instead!" He called louder in a slightly braver tone, glaring at the lion.

The lion paused, and then sat down, tail swishing back and forth. The rest of the pride seemed to have backed off when he spoke, as did a few other animals. But, the white lion continued to sit there, regarding him with almost bored eyes.
He looked almost like a house cat that had been shooed away from its favorite toy for no reason.

Lyoko was startled that the animal had actually stopped. Smiling in relief, he took a tentative step forwards. At once Lyoko cringed and fell still again. That amount of movement was NOT a good idea.
"Stupid plane...Stupid crash...Stupid broken bones..." He snapped at himself, an arm wrapping around his side, as if that would prevent the pain in his ribs.
Tilting his head slightly, Lyoko glanced back to see if the lion had moved from its spot. It hadn't gone anywhere, although Lyoko couldn't help smiling when he saw it.
"You're a strange lion...Thanks for stopping though" He chuckled softly before grimacing again. Another thing that wasn't a good idea, laughing.

The lion was perfectly still except for his tail, swishing back and forth--it was almost like he was deep in thought. By now, most of the surrounding animals had returned to their usual business...except for this particular lion.
A strange one, indeed. The lion regarded him with unamused eyes upon being called strange--his expression even changed.

He was half tempted to start rummaging around for his stuff. But that would mean trailing the wreckage, which would also mean seeing more bodies. That was something Lyoko didn't think his stomach, or mind, could handle. Sighing, he closed his eyes again, pondering on the idea of sitting down, or just curling up and never moving again. When he opened his eyes again, the lion still hadn't moved, although it looked annoyed now.
"Huh, you irritated I called you strange? No offence, but you kinda are Mr Lion, you're white for one thing. For another, you're not attacking me, or running off like the other animals." He pointed out, gaining back a little bravado now he was in no iminent danger.

The lion made a low noise in his throat that sounded an awful lot like grumbling...complaining. His tail flicked back and forth at a more rapid rate. Slowly, he heaved himself up onto his feet and started to wander around the wreckage, unearthing both luggage and bodies as he walked. The bodies were surprisingly not damaged too much...only minor visible gore. Many internal injuries, most likely.

Looking confused, he watched the lion as it seemed to growl in irritance. But, that was impossibe. Firstly, lions can't understand human talk. Secondly, they couldn't display human emotions like that. He must have been imagining things from a state of panic mixed with pain.
"That, or I'm going mad...How long have we been out here?" He mumbled to himself before flinching when he saw the lion approach the wreckage again. It started nosing through baggage, occasionally unearthing a body clearly dead.
"Scavaging for a free meal? What about the rest of the lions? They better not come here..." He said thoughtfully, not caring if the lion heard him or not, it wasn't as if it could understand him anyway.
Lyoko began to pick his feet up, over the person who had been sitting beside him. Apparantly they didn't listen to the warning about wearing seat belts. He had no idea where he was going. He just needed to get out of there, to start walking, maybe then he'd think of a plan.

Having found only dead humans--and he couldn't state the taste of human flesh...too much fat these days--the lion sneeze-snorted and turned back around, watching as the boy wriggled out of his seat. He padded back over in that direction, curious as to just where he thought he could go in a place like this. Especially with no supplies.
The rest of the lions seemed to have left already, but this one didn't mind being left behind, it appeared. He hated traveling in a large group most of the time, anyway...

He used the support of the seats, and the parts of the plane that hadn't been destroyed, to keep him upright as he staggered over fallen objects. Objects he refused to try and look closer at. The place practically reeked of death to Lyoko, as he wrinkled his nose slightly before finally navigating his way from the wreckage. Looking around again, he sighed. This really wasn't a good idea, but then, when had any of his ideas been sensible or good? He may have been a coward, but he tended to be rather impulstive at times. Especially when he wasn't thinking straight.
Half-turning, Lyoko looked frightened when he watched the Lion again. "You're very weird...Go away Mr Lion, if you're playing some sort of game of cat and mouse or something it's not fun! Go find some other food or interesting thing" He waved his hands a little, seeing if that would spook the animal off, or something similar to that effect.

The lion turned his nose up at him, in a very stuffy, arrogant manner. It also sounded like he clicked his tongue. Though he did have a human form--unbeknownst to this human here--he didn't use it while in the open like this. He then tensed his muscles and started up at a trot, passing him and walking around in front of him. He ran a few more feet away, and then he stopped to glance back at him, tail swinging back and forth.

Eyes widening slightly, Lyoko had to resist the urge to laugh at the lion's reaction to his own words and movements. It reminded him of one of those upper class kids being made a fool of, trying to escape with as much pride intact as possible. Again though, he froze, watching the lion warily as it started to trot, passing him by and walking a little way in front of him. An astounded expression filtered through his face.
"You're not some genetically altered thing are you? 'Cause I know you're not trying to lead me somewhere...." Lyoko paused before groaning slightly. "Heat of the sun's getting to me. I'm talking to a lion, how stupid can I get?" He almost laughed slightly at himself, not taking his eyes off of the strange lion.

((Okay! Night!))
The lion turned around fully and sat down in that spot, staring at him amusedly. He attempted to beckon to him with a jerk of his head, not moving from his spot. Of course he was trying to lead him somewhere. This human didn't stand a chance out here unless he had a constant supply of food and shelter, and fire-starting materials. And he knew he could provide all of that for him, if he would just follow him.

The expression on the lions face seemed to almost be mocking Lyoko. Frowning, he folded his arms over his chest, glowering at the lion.
"You're not gonna lead me somewhere to eat me are you?" He asked suspiciously, giving up on the idea that the lion couldn't understand him. Thinking that would only hurt his head even more. At the same time though, Lyoko took a few tentative steps forwards. He could only move slowly, it ached too much to go very fast. Although, he was at least thankful there was no bones sticking out, that would have been a disaster. He could see some tears in his clothes and a bit of black in some patches where they must have gotten too close to flames or something. Again he stepped forwards, drawing a little closer to the white lion.
((Back ^^))

Once he was close enough, the lion turned again and headed down a dip in the land. He seemed to be heading towards another watering hole. There was a rock face behind this watering hole, and there were several large holes in it--caves. The lion gained speed and in a burst of speed, reached the rock face. He turned around and sat down, patiently waiting for Lyoko. The caves looked deserted, and like they would provide ample shelter.

He couldn't resist laughing again. Was the lion really going to help him? Well, it wasn't as if Lyoko had much of a choice now. It was either, follow the lion and hope he didn't get eaten, or stay at the wreckage and wait to get eaten or die. As he approached the dip in the land, Lyoko winced slightly, this was going to be tricky. Slowly making his way down, he stumbled a little and had to stop, both arms wrapping around his ribs as a low groan sounded. "D-damn ribs..." He murmured, glancing through narrowed eyes up to where he could see the lion sitting now. Not much further to go before he could sit down again. Biting his lip again, he tried to speed up a little, until he finally reached the cave. Lyoko leant heavily on the side of the cave, looking exhausted from that short walk. "Th-thanks...Mr Lion..." He mumbled.

The lion padded into the cave, all the way to the back, and turned around. After checking to make sure there weren't any other animals close by, he glanced at Lyoko, and then, a light began to form around him. It erupted all over him until it looked like he was a lion made of nothing but light, and then his shape shifted upwards into a standing position. After a moment, the light faded.
In the lion's place was a tall, peculiar-looking man with white and black hair, and cold silvery-white eyes. "You are welcome."

Lyoko had closed his eyes concentrating on breathing slowly and ignoring the pain, which had already become a dull throb. However, even behind closed eyelids, he could see the strange and sudden light. Frowning, Lyoko squinted, raising a hand to cover his eyes and peeking through his fingers. Wasn't that light...Around the lion? What was going on? It wasn't on fire was it? Lord he hoped not.
Closing his eyes again, he lowered his hand and waited for the light to fade before he dared to look again. A look of astonishment flashed over his face as he stared in shock at the strange man. "I'm hallucinating...This can't be happening...There, there was a big, strange white lion and now...Strange man...I'm going mad..." He muttered, unable to move or look away.

He shook his head slightly, ignoring the pain now. What was happening was much more important. "B-but, it's impossible! People can't turn into animals! It's just impossible!" He stammered, secretly glad that the strange lion man...Mira...Wasn't coming any closer.

Lyoko remained silent for a moment before shaking his head again slightly. "That, or I hit my head really hard when the plane crashed, and you really are just a lion...How do I know you're not some figment of imagination?" He questioned suspiciously, feeling mildly annoyed by the amusemant the other seeemd to feel.

Miration raised an eyebrow. He strolled over to Lyoko, leaned down, reached out, and tapped his shoulder--he was solid. "That is how. I am real." He straightened himself up and then headed to the opposite wall of the cave. He relaxed, sitting down.

Lyoko shivered as he stared wide eyed at Miration, too frightened to move. He drew back against the cave wall, closing his eyes finally as he waited for the lion-man to hurt him. When all that came was a tap on the shoulder, he glanced back to Miration in surprise. Nodding very slightly, he used the wall to help himself sit down, not looking away from the strange man. "...I'm...Lyoko but...People call me Crimson or Lyo" He answered, fiddling with the end of his hair braid. "Why did you help me?" He finally asked, still looking nervous.
