you've only bought one book this year so far Miro?? That's ridiculious! I must have bought at least 20 books this year so far.
and the book I'm rereading is called Unwind by Neal Shusterman, it is about a society where abortion is illegal but parents can retroactively 'abort' their children from the ages of 13-18 through a process called unwinding. Which is the literal dismemberment of the teenagers and parts are used as organ donations. The kicker is that in the eyes of the law the teens are dead just living in a "divided state". It's an insanely good book and disturbing but a great social commentary.
I do just cuz the blue in the background is kinda random su.

*@ Wings; I know. ;> _______ >
I devour a book in under a day or so, they never last long with me. That's why I keep searching for more series to read.
I have Bartimaeus Trilogy, Artemis Fowl, Visitation//The Oath//Monster (by Frank Peretti), Endymion Spring (by Matthew Skeleton) and some others. I do have Howl's Moving castle in all color comic that goes with the movie but I need 2 more to complete it since its in 4 separate pieces. xD Then some 30 mangas of different anime series.
eh...Abortion? I never read those kinds of books. I'm more into fantasy, magic, horror, adventure and actionness.
I'd dislike it as much as I dislike Lovely Bones--I hate that book. The only reason why I have it was because I had an ENG class back in Virginia that I had to do a test over. :gonk:

@Miro:I'm an english major so I enjoy everything from Beowulf to Shakespeare to Chaucer to Harry Potter to basic fantasy like (Tamora Pierce) to somewhat trashy vampire romance novels (like the House of Night and the Carpathian series) to books like Unwind which are social commentaries that just intrigue me. But Unwind is a step in what I want to specialize in. I plan on getting my Bachelor's in English, my masters in Modernist and Post-modern literature (brit and american), and my doctorate in Dystopic Society novels (like 1984, The Giver, Unwind, Fahrenheit 451, Anthem, etc.)

Oh yes!
Here is a picture from the plane on my way home, the water is SO clear and gorgeous. When we were snorkeling, we kept saying "oh look at that shell" and then try to dive down to get it only to be reminded that it was like 2Oft deep and there was no way you would reach the bottom... XD wooo long sentence XD Sorry;

@ Wings; Ah, so you're more of in that depth.
Those things can get pretty interesting but I'm picky to what genre certain things are in. But Shakespeare? ...I don't really enjoy him at all. I like certain clothes and accessories from that century, though.
Harry Potter is definitely one of my favs! 'Cept I think they let everyone done on the newest movie from last yr? They didn't give enough magicalness into it except when they showed Fred & Georges magic shop. ):
Ooozles ~ On of my oldest friends is the same way as you. xD
He's into more Historic things like that and he's part British--so, he likes to study more of Britian, Germany n' those countries. I think that's a really neat thing to do--it's like breading librarians. * ^ *
@ Randy; O-mai-guuud! > # <;;
THAT'S BEAUTIFUL!!! :drool:
You're so lucky ~ I've never been to those kinds of places.
Same thing goes for snorkeling <- I've never even done that at all. o.o;

And you're doing them for your exchange, Miro?
Btw, your siggy made me want to watch Howl's Moving Castle. Haven't seen it in ages.
And I think that they just mean hai in the slang term, not as a different language. lol

I like saying haiii instead of "hi", it's boring. :XP
@ Suona; They're just link-outs.
Anyone can use them or put them in their threads/siggys n' such. xD
I'm also creating Page Prizes to do animated background pixel dolls for whoever stalks my Exchange for'em. <3 <3
Hahaha! I have the Special Edition DVD of it. :love:
I love the the 2nd Disc w/ all the Special features--the original artwork is so amazing.
It's like blotchy tea stains and they somehow put it to life. *-*

Ponyo, Princess Mononoke, Origins: Spirits of the Past, Nascia Valley of the Wind, Whispers of the Heart, The Cat Returns and some others are really good as well. ^^ I think Studio Ghibli could totally kick Disneys arse. :heart: 83
