Gawd...I love addictive things. Should I go back to Gaia Online or not? As long as I be careful...and be nice...I might be fine...right?

It really depends on what you are looking for more.

Here on Menewsha, its' more about the forums and posting along with people being a LOT nicer here then on Gaia.

On Gaia, it's more about the games, events and avatars, people care more about items then about talking. I've been on Gaia and I'm liking here much much more.

Eh, only if you want. It's not like it'll be gone if you don't go back to it right away, which is one of the great things about the internet.

Well, why did you leave in the first place? I think your reason for leaving should determine if you should go back... There's nothing wrong with going back, you can if you want to, but keep in mind the kind of community over there, and the way things are run. If it doesn't bother you to be around immature noobs who ask for cybersex or tell you you suck if they don't like your avatar, and if you don't mind having announcements shoved in your face everyday about buying the newest cash crap so Gaia can have all your money, go ahead. Personally, I'm still on Gaia but I keep to the guilds mainly. The main forums are crap, and I ignore all the cash BS because I don't want to support a huge corporate site that is only out there for profit and doesn't care about it's "customers". I've seen their customer support, if you can even call it that. :roll: If I hadn't been a member of it for so long, I probably would have left... In other words, if the way the site is run now had been my first impression, it would have been a really bad first impression. I joined when it was still fun, many years ago. x_x

Can't you do both? Spend some time here, spend some time there, depending on whether you want Menewsha stuff or Gaia stuff. They're very different, and for me fulfill different needs: decent chat and advice here (plus more realistic looking avatars); there, zOMG! is a lot of fun, and (sorry Mene) the items for avis are pretty amazing. (Though this month's collectibles look pretty ghastly on Gaia...)

Like anime_scholar said, why can't you do both? XD I only joined Menewsha today, because I was enticed by the prospect of meeting nice people and having good discussions in my free time. (The draw of stalking my best friend is not negligible either, ehehehehe... :feesh:)

However, I'm by NO MEANS abandoning Gaia. Gaia is like my workplace now. Work... and zOMG... :ninja:

Both are cute, both have their own draws. So what do I say? Go for both! :mrgreen:

It depends on what you like to do best. Personally, I have no desire to ever post on Gaia again.

You should keep your accounts in both sites in case you want to return to either of then and alternate between the two.
