"I think he's just had a stressful day.Needs some time to cool off, y'know?" Fate smiled, picking up any money that had fallen onto the floor and handing it to Josh, before bagging up the food and heading out. "See you again sometime!" He said, before leaving the market and following close behind Sam.

Looking over the money Josh saw that he had given him a bit more then was needed.” Be right back.” He yelled as he dashed out the store and after Fate. “Hay wait! You forgot your change.” Catching up to him Josh held it out. “And if you ever get tired of chasing after him…” he winked.

Feather down the street Sam was cursing at himself for being so much of a baby. He knew what josh was like why had he run. It was not like this did not happen every day they saw each other. So what if Fate saw, not like he was his or they were even… Sam shook his head trying to get that idea out of his head. Flopping against the side of a brick building he sighed and waited for Fate. He should go back and say sorry to josh, but he did not think he could right now.

Fate smiled. "Oh, thanks..Take care, alright?" He said, taking the change, the touch on Josh's hands would have felt similar to the touch on Sam's lips, but more intense, like a mix of burning and numbness. Fate waved goodbye to Josh and found Sam. "Sam!There you are..Don't run off like that, I don't know my way around this city yet..C'mon, let's go home alright? Sorry if I added to the situation..No hard feelings, right?We were just joking around."

“I would not leave you to find your way back.” He mumbled as he looked down at the ground. He seems to have taken that as his natural stance when around people, to stare at the ground. “That just would have been rude, and…..” Sam looked at him from the corner of his eye. “And no hard feeling. Just, he is always like that and well….” If Fate was really paying attention he would notice that he had a slight crush on Josh.

"That's one of the guys you like, isn't it?He is pretty cute.Not really my type.." Fate commented, beginning to walk in the direction that he thought was towards home. "C'mon, let's get home before midnight.You need your sleep and so do I." of course he was walking in the completely wrong direction, but he had actually done it on purpose to get Sam to stand up.

Pushing off the wall Sam sighed. “That only the right way if you’re truly lying about Josh not being your type and you’re going to see him for the one night.” Turning towards home a small smile crossed his face. “Yah I kind of like him but he only sleeps with a man once, then he never goes out with them again.”

"Definately not my type. And I was trying to get you to get up." Fate smiled, sneaking a little wink at Sam before walking in the right direction. "I can't stand people that do that, it's just heartless, to me. It's not fun having such a wonderful night, then waking up alone.It makes it feel like it was all just a dream.Plus, I don't go on bottom easily." The raven haired man smirked.

“Go on….?” Sam blushed, this time his curls seemed to blush too. Odd seeing as his hair was dark. “So why…” Sam shook his head. “No that is not appropriate to ask now.” Slowly his voice trailed off till it was barely able to be heard. “Any ways I could just be reading this all wrong.”

"Go on, I'm curious now.." Fate said as he looked back at Sam, smiling. "I'm practically shameless, you won't make an awkward moment with me easily..Plus we need something to talk about on the way back, right?I hate awkward silence."

Sighing he looked at Fate strait in the eyes, and then dropped his gaze back to the ground. “No, it’s nothing; it is not something you would have the answer to.” Speeding up his steps Sam walked forward to the building. He really wanted to know why he wanted to make this man love him. Why he was so drawn to him. And why he felt that by meeting this young man his live was changed and he better make the most of the next few months. He chewed on his lower lip.

"Just say it..I'm really curious now." Fate said, making an effort to keep eye contact with Sam as much as he could. "Tell me, c'mon.." He almost sounded childish there, and his facial expression was that of a curious kitten.

(I thought it was going to be two lines long when I posted it. : D; )

Burring his face in his hands he mumbled. “Why am I attracted to you I don’t even know you?” through his fingers you could see he was blushing again. “I want to do things with you right now that I have never wanted to do before.” Sam wanted to run again, to get away from Fate. He did not want to see his annoyance at Sam’s puppy love. He did not want to have to face this man that would think he is some stupid girly boy who believes at love at first sight, which to Sam what the stupidest thing he had ever heard of in his whole life.

Fate paused for a few moments, then spoke. "Must be fate." He laughed. "Love at first sight is never anything but lust, but who said lust never ends in true love?" Fate smiled at Sam, looking the other man right in the eyes. "...I like you, too, but I don't want to go too fast..I don't want to end up hurting you.I'd never forgive myself."

Sam did not hear the rest of what he said after Fate laughed. He ran, they were close enough that he could find his own way home and he was not going to put up with is jokes and prods. He had told him what he thought and he had made a joke then laughed. gwhhhh why am I acting like a love sick gril. This is not me! yanking the door to their building open he ran up the stairs. Never once thinking about the bags of food he had left with Fate. Reaching his apartment he fought with his keys and then finely got the door open. Slamming it he slid down inside against it. how could he be this stupid, was he so lonely that he fixated on a man that liked his eyes? This is not right, I can’t stop myself from bearing my heart to him and now he laughs at me he could feel the tears starting to fall down his face.

Soon, Fate caught up, and knocked on Sam's door. "Sam..I wasn't laughing at you." He said, seeming rather sad. "Open the door..Please? I wasn't making fun of you..I feel the same way." He said, waiting for a response before speaking again. "I knwo we just met and It's probably stupid, but I really really like you..I'm willing to give it a chance, even fi we're skipping like a million steps..I don't believe in true love at first sight, but hey, never hurts to try, right?C'mon, Sam.."

Leaning on the door Sam listened to what Fate was saying. He did not want to believe him but that little part that was saying that he should move away from the door was too small a apart of him for him to obey. Burying his face in his hands he tried to not cry. He had blown it with Fate, now he would always think that he was going to run out on the important parts. That was his problem. He always ran when he should have stayed. Through his salient tears he heard Fate say they could try, that they could make it work.
Slowly he moved away from the door and let it fall open. He had not fully gotten it shut as the dead bolt was in the way. Leaning against the cupboards on the floor Sam cried. If he came in he came in.

Fate set the grocery bags on a nearby table once he stepped inside, he knelt down in front of Sam after closing the door, and paused for a moment, just watching Sam..Then he hugged him. Hugged the crying man as tightly as he could, left numbing kisses along the man's cheek and neck. "I'm sorry, Sam..I didn't mean to make you cry.I really..L-..Love you." He blushed lightly, gently placing his hand on Sam's face and wiping away the tears.

A shot burst of laughter that was sad. “Now I’m the one making you blush and I have not ever said anything.” Sam wanted to say he loves him back but there was no way that he felt it was right to. How could he know what he felt for this man having only met him a few hours ago? Wrapping his arms around Fate tightly he hugged him back. Sam’s eyes still cried silent tears as he buried his face in Fates shoulder. “I can’t say that I love you yet, but I really like you. I don’t offer to make just any one dinner with no end in sight of when they won’t come over.”

"Alright, I understand." Fate smiled, planting a rather long kiss onto Sam's cheek. "Don't leave me hanging though, as soon as you decide whether you want to start something between us or not, tell me.No hesitation..Now..I made sure the grocery bags are sorted right, so the ones you gave me have my stuff in them and yours have your stuff, so if you want to be alone now, I can go..If it's too awkward after this for you to be so close to me still." He lightly chuckled. "My nature can get the best of me like that.I always manage to say something that can get blown so out of context, or my weird sense of humor has me laughing at things in serious situations..I really am sorry."

“Umm.” Sam looked up at Fates eyes trying not to have his gaze drop. He knew how nice it was to have someone look in his eyes even if they were unnerved by them. “How about you go put your grocery’s away and I will come and get you when dinner is ready?” he still held him tightly, like he had become a life raft and he did not want to let him go. The numbing feeling was weird yet interesting. “If I could bottle your touch I think I might have a love potion. Because each time you touch me I just want you more.” Finely he let him go the tears finely had stopped and a small smile was pushing through.

"Ah..Right..Dinner..Almost forgot with all of this going on." Fate's cheeks went a bit red. "I-I'll come back when I get it done, I want to see you cook." Fate smiled, gently running his fingers along Sam's jaw. "A-ah..You don't think it's weird?I..Can't touch you for a real long while, though, it's hard to explain..Someday, though, I'll tell you everything..Why my touch is like this..Why my eyes are so unnerving even though they're boring grey." He chuckled. "But for now, don't think about it or worry over it too much alright?I should probably stop squishing you into this corner now."

A big smile broke out on Sam’s face. “Again I don’t even say anything and you blush.” Sam seemed to enjoy Fates touch and sighed. “it is new and…” his eyes again looked down to the floor, or in this care Fats crotch which only made him blush, as he looked away to the side. “It’s what is making me want you more.” He looked back up at fate the blush having quickly run its course. “You’re not squishing me… too much. I like the touch of you.”

"Only for a half an hour can my hand touch your skin, without my hand being gloved.That goes for any piece of my skin on my entire body..Afterwards..Well, I can't say yet..In about three weeks to a month, I can.You'll know why when the time comes." Fate said, smiling as he looked into Sam's eyes, and backed up so he could get up. "Now..I'll go put my groceries away.Are you completely alright now?"

“Other than thinking inappropriate thought about you..?” Sam blushed again but this time there was a smile too. “Yah I am fine, just hold you laughter better please. I can be very jumpy if you laugh at me.” Pulling himself up from the ground using the counter he sighed his mind finely clicking on the month thing. “What do you mean three weeks to a month?”

Fate's cheeks went deep red. "Ah..You're fine, then..And I wasn't even laughing at you, I always laugh after I make a bad joke about my name." The man pouted a bit, but then smiled widely. "You'll see..Might be two weeks, depending on how impatient one of my friends is..He's VERY impatient.You're lucky you didn't take a subway tonight..Anyway." His voice became a bit more like a mumble at the last sentence, other than "Anyways", which isn't actually a sentence, but that's going into grammar nazi territory.He grabbed his grocery bags and waved to Sam. "I'll be back in a bit, alright?" He left the apartment and entered his, where he set his Mp3 player in his room, then went into the kitchen to pack away the groceries, all while humming a certain song that was stuck in his head.
