"Maybe or you could just go and talk to the jewelier about it.....he just told me a bunch about cut, style, color, how clear it is.....i only paid attention to the names and what each one looked like." Alvilda said to him as she made her way carefully down the stairs, making sure she didn't use her hurt hand. She glanced at him, blushing, her gaze then drop to the ground that was in front of her feet, she made her way slowly after him, wondering where he was taking her.

"You are a tough girl......i bet your wondering why......" Like everyone is...... Hotaru said to Janice, leaveing the end of the sentence unspoken, he ran a hand through his pink tinged hair, before he looked at the girl in front og him. He then reached out, pulling her into his lap, grimicing in pain when her body hit his wounds some. He sighed heavily as he just held her in his arms, more so that he wouldn't feel like he was doing nothing and to show he appreiated her helpping him when she didn't have too.

Janice shook her head, wiping her hands on the skirt a little. "Not really, honestly. I've got my bad points and stuff. And.. It's your business to have, and none of mine if you don't wish to share." she said, offering him a smile. She blushed almost instantly as held her, her eyes wide. It had taken her by surprise. Though, the first thought that came to mind after the initial shock wore off was, "You're going to hurt yourself some more." she muttered, averting her gaze away from him. Give her anything else and she could handle it, but actually being in this sort of situation, even if it wasn't meant as anything important, and she became incredibly shy for the moment.

"I don't think I'd be very comfortable with the jewelers." he said honestly. They always made him feel inadequate when they droned on and on about stuff he had no idea about. Mostly about how women would adore you if you buy one of their stuff. It was nerve-wracking. He led her to the kitchen where he started to get a loaf of bread, glancing down at Alvidia. "Do you want a sandwich?" he asked.

"Depends on what type of sandwich your talking about." Alvilda said as she moved towards the fridge and pulled out two drinks for them and two chocolate pudding cups, she smiled as she sat them down on the table and began to search for spoons, once she found them she sat them on the table as she sat down in a chair. "So what do you want to do for your birthday?" she asked him as she looked him over, planning to do something special for it since it was the first birthday that she was spending with him.

"I am already hurt.....so it won't be so bad now." Hotaru said to her as he sighed heavily, tighting his grip some on her for a brief moment. He then began to stroke her arm as he stared at the ceiling, having no clue what he was going to do now, his eyes closed, he seemed to be drifting back to sleep as he continued to hold her and him stroking her arm was dying slowly.

Katie smirked, taking his hand." It's upstairs in my bags.." She said, leading him out of the kitchen and up the steps. After she went into his room she dropped his hand and started rummaging threw her bags until finally finding it. She put it behind her back when she stood up and handed it to him, it was just a simple silver ring with an engrave ace on it ((an actual ace, not his name xD ))
She blushed."It used to just be a silver ring but when my father said I could marry you..I snuck off and got it engraved." She sad, looking at the ground for a moment.

Lydia frowned and just kissed him softly."Sorry." She said, getting back to stirring the peppers and adding spices.

Drake stared at her."You really want me to sing?"

"Any really. I've got ha, turkey, maybe some tuna." He said, glancing back at her before looking around to see what else he had. He took out the ham and some lettuce. "My birthday?" he asked, tilting his head. He tried thinking what he wanted to do before he just shrugged. "No idea." he said, chuckling.

Janice blinked, somewhat stunned. Is he seriously falling asleep? Oh, this is, awkward. she thought, slightly worried. Mr. Kurai wouldn't like this, maybe some others might not like it either.. Though, it wasn't that bad, but she knew how it might look. She let a soft sigh staying where she was right now. Not that she had a choice on moving, he was holding her, and he was asleep. "Night night." she muttered, not sure if he could hear her.

Ace looked at the ring she gave him and smirked. "It looks cool." he said, putting the ring on. After he put it on he kissed her forehead. "Thanks." he said, looking down at the ring again. "One of the few jewelry I can wear."

She blushed."I'm glad you like it." She said, kissing his cheek."Father gave us the choice whether or not to get you guys rings and he would get us all a plain gold ring, but I decided to get a different one instead. But....i'm glad that I get to marry you instead of Shin, not thats hes a bad guy or anything your just a lot better." She smirked."So what do you want to do?Finish the room or something else?" Se asked, sitting at the end of the bed. She was mad that she wouldn't get to see Ace at all tomorrow until their wedding but she kept wondering about what he was going to wear. Her dress was hidden in her suitcase for her to wear.

He laughed. "Well, I guess he'll settle for that. But yeah, he's better for your sister." he agreed before tilting his head. "I have to still get a tux. Wanna go into town and look? and, we can get stuff for the room too." he said. He also wanted to get out of the house, since he hadn't been able to get the chance to do so. And now that he was going to be gone from the nice weather, he wanted to enjoy it.

"That sounds nice, we should get out today anyways, its warm outside and for the next week we'll be stuck in the cold." She got up, taking his hand."Well, since you hate tux's then we should make sure you atleast get one that you..kind of like." She smirked, looking down at her hand to see the ring. She thought it was beautiful, not just because of the diamond but just..everything about it, and the fact that it came from Ace.

"I doubt there'll be one." he muttered, gripping her hand a little before they walked out of the room. "Do you have warm clothes?" he asked as they went towards the stairs. Maybe they'd walk, since he was in no particular hurry and that way they could just take their time and bond some more. Anything helped at this time.

"Well..I have a few warm clothes but our father never really let us outside during the winter that much so I never had the need for them." She said, following after him."You? And i'm sure that theres atleast one tux that you'll like.." She said, trying to make things better.

He shrugged. "We'll see. And, I have two or three things. Mostly coats." he admitted. They might have to get winter clothes as well while they were at it. Good thing he had some money. "Hm, anything else we might need?"

Katie thought for a moment while they went down the steps and out the door."Well..the cabins are already stored with food and fire wood and luxury items so we probably won't need anything but clothes." She said, starting to head towards the direction of the town."If we need more money I have some.." She said, looking at her pocket. She was happy that she was just wearing jeans and a tee shirt or she wouldn't have brought her money." We should probably bring something to entertain ourselves with since it usually snow storms a lot up there. We used to go when we were kids..though we were all in one cabin instead of all having our own." She grinned.

He smirked a little and nodded. "Alright, so maybe the deck of cards, and some other games or something." he offered. What would they do for an entire week? Especially if they were stuck in the cabin. He knew how to go out and about, but not really with the same girl. At least one that he'd spend the rest of his life with. He looked up ahead at the road and smirked some more. "We'll have enough money."

She looked at the ground."I don't know why he's making us go out there for a week. None of the couples barely know each other so I don't think theres going to be an action for any of us. I think the whole honeymoon idea would be better if it was only for aleast two days..the cabin gets very boring." She said, sighing a little."Cards would do nicely." She smirked."Drake will probably be playing strip poker with Si'la the whole week." She grinned."So what do you think about all of this?'

Ace nodded and sighed. "I also think it's way too long, but what can we do?" he said, shrugging a little before looking at her. "And Drake would be one to do that." he said. It wouldn't be Drake otherwise. But he did wonder if Si'la would fall for that trap. He tilted his head though, thinking about it. "Maybe it's to get to know each other a little better?"

Katie shrugged, looking at the buildings since they had gotten into town."Well..even if it is long we'll still have time to get to know each other, like you said." She smirked, kissing his cheek and looking down at their hands."So how'd you get the ring?" She asked, noticing a few peoples glances, but shrugging it off.

Ace smirked when she kissed his cheek. "I picked it out with the help of the maid.." he said, noticing the looks from some people. Now they would all know that he either had a new girl, or was playing around or was, as the rumors were going. Actually getting married. "Where do we get tuxes?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well...theres two places. If you want everyone to know your getting married then we can go to the bridal/groom shop..or the regular wedding store at the end of town. Your choice." She said, brushing her bangs out of her face and flashing the ring at all the girls that were staring. She smirked a little since she was the jealous type, and liked showing off towards the women she was jealous about. And by the heart broken looks from the girls, she guessed they had all been with Ace atleast once."Fan club?" She raised her eye brow with a small grin.

He resisted a laugh. He'd watched her flash the ring to the girls. "Basically. They're few of the many." he admitted, smirking at the girls, who now all shot a glare at Katie. "And they're all very, clingy." he muttered. The last part with a bit of distaste. "Of course, not all of them have been with me. Just a couple.. The others want to." he said, not wanting her to see him as a sort of man-whore. "Uh, how about, we search the other shop first." he offered.

Katie turned her head, kissing him softly, but putting a lot into it just to mock the girls. She then broke the kiss."So what do you mean by other? The one at the end of town?" She asked, running her thumb across the top of his hand. "By the way, as long as i'm allowed to torment your fanclub, and your not with any of them when were together..then i'll be a happy camper. " She grinned.

Ace smirked, having kissed her back before she pulled away. "Yeah that one. We'll try that one first." he said. He noticed one of the girls actually left from the group while they kissed. The others were just stunned. Oh how the place would talk. He chuckled at her words. "Well, be gentle with them, but sure." he said, shrugging. He wasn't sure if it'd be possible to go with another girl. Now especially. Besides, he'd given her his word earlier.

She smirked,entertwining their fingers and then walking away from the group of girls."Okay, then lets go." She said, starting to walk down the street. She was amused that Ace had ,had so many women with him with Katie had always been with Hotaru, since she had met him about four years ago. Sure she had kiddie boyfriends where they said they were going out..but went nowhere, but Hotaru had been her only serious relationship, and really the only guy she had been intrested before the whole arranged married thing. They had talked about child names before so she would atleast know what to call their baby, though it was odd since when she called it their baby she started to think of the past. She hated thinking about it, she liked Ace a lot..but didn't really know how he felt about her, other then a kiss or holding hands..she liked that he wasn't clingy and that he was good looking, but he was also hard to read."Will do."She said about taking it easy on the girls, though she sounded distant like she was thinking. When they arrived at the shop at the other end of town she led him in to the tuxedo section, starting to look at them randomly."Tell me if you see one you like." She said, kissing his cheek with a smile.

He nodded, glancing down at her. The only reason he'd said for her to be easy on them was because some of them might fight back, and he didn't want her to get hurt. "What're you thinking about?" he asked, glancing back at the tuxedos. She'd probably be thinking she made a mistake to be with him. Since he got around a little more than she had. But, he didn't do it on purpose, it just happened. He found he liked some of the tailcoats more than the other designs. Though, there were so many of them. "There's a lot..." he stated, almost frowning.

Katie looked back up from the clothing. "Well..I don't want o seem girly..or moody.." She smirked, going over by him."Yes there are..are you intrested in any?" She asked, brushing her bangs out of her face. She put her hand on his shoulder. " So..what do you think of me?" She asked, trying to seem distracted by the clothing.

Ace picked out a tuxedo and held it up. "This one?" he asked, a little hesitant. He tilted his head and bit his lip. "I think, that you're a pretty cool girl. You're cute, funny, and can handle yourself better than others I know." he said, slightly unsure. He wasn't very good with expressing his feelings but he tried. He did like her, that was for sure. Maybe even into the really like.
