Echo had always been intrigued by the mortal world. It was strange to him though, he had barely any memories of the past; the only thing he could possibly remember was falling into complete darkness and there was where his new life began.
His silent footsteps graced the earth, His raven black hair drenched from the rain which poured onto this world. Echo wondered aimlessly around a nearby town, where each time he visits the memories seems to want to re-enter his mind. As much as he tried to remember he couldn't. He couldn't remember that face that was with him throughout his previous life. Who is he? Where is he?
Echo continued to make his way through the crowds of people who ran to work in fear of being late.
"Tch...stupid people" he mumbled to himself before touching his necklace. It sort of looked like a voodoo doll of some sort. Echo chuckled to himself, thinking of doing something interesting. Hell, was never a very fun place to be and he enjoyed making a little bit of mischief once in a while, just to get his spirits up.

((And...that's all i got right now. ^___^ I'm off to bed. 'Til tomorrow. ))

Seth went to Earth. He may not remember his past life at all, but he liked going back to see if he could remember. He went to a town that was nearby. He also got wet instantly. A lot of people ran into him, not wanting to be late. He stood on the corner of the street. He knew there was something he needed to remember, but he couldn't. No matter how hard he tried to he couldn't. So he kept coming back. Not that he didn't like his new life. But that was the only thing he could remember. He wanted to remember his entire human life.

The demon continued to walk, trying to find something interesting to do. He wore a black scarf that wrapped around his neck loosely; a blank tank top, which tighten around his stomach, showing off his great figure and black gloves, with no particular design to...just a plain black glove that covered nearly his whole arm.

Echo smirked a bit when he saw, what seemed to be a young boy. The boy had dark hair the swept over to one side; he looked very angelic and Echo felt a some sort of need to talk to him, it was if he knew the boy. As he started to approach the boy; a man had run into the demon, knocking him to the ground. The man quickly got up, mumbled how the teen looking demon should watch where he's going, and left. This made Echo, slightly mad and the necklace that hang over his neck started to glow. In a swift movement he rose, brushing away the water that he can from his clothes. Now, he was completely soaked and the black top had tighten more to the demon's skin. He sighed, then all of a sudden people gasped and started running to the street where an accident had occured. A man got hit by a car, not severely...no, but the impact was enough to give he man a broken leg. Echo slightly smirked as he heard what happened, and proceeded to clean off his wet clothes.

Seth heard and saw a man get hit by a car. But unlike the other people who were pushing past him, he didn't run to help. With that many people, he didn't see the point. Instead, he turned and walked in the other direction. He walked past a boy that looked slightly older then himself. He got a weird feeling from him, so he kept walking.

Echo's eyes followed the boy as he walked past him. He shook his head slightly, getting the water off his hair. By that time, the rain had nearly stopped and an ambulance could be heard from miles away. Echo decided to leave the boy alone and walk over to the 'incident'.

He chuckled softly upon seeing the man, cry as he hovered over his leg. "Maybe you should watch where your going, huh?" he mumbled softly so that only the man heard. Echo disappeared from the crowd and continued to walk on the sidewalk.
He didn't feel like going back to hell right now and decided to grab an room at a nearby inn that was next to a bar.

Seth ended up walking around the block. He ended up at an inn that was next to a bar. He noticed that an abulance had come and taken away the injured man. He went into the inn to get a room. He looked around once he was inside. There was really much to see. It was basically like every other inn in the town.

Echo sighed upon entering the inn. Nothing special, a few drunks here and there but what can you expect these are how mortals are and plus this inn was right next to the bar. Echo proceeding towards the counter, gently tapping on the care keepers bell. He waited for a moment and no one showed up. He tapped the bell again, and still no one.

He sighed looking around, "Heh..i guess i don't have to pay this time" he muttered to himself before a rounded old man showed up.

"I'm sorry to keep you waiting" he said blowing smoke at Echo's face.
Echo responded, "Ah..no trouble, i was about to help myself to one of those keys behind you" he said quite bluntly.
"Tch..you have some nerves, but none the less what can i do for you? the man said, crushing his cigarette against the ash stray

(It'll be funny if the inn had only one room <with two beds> and the two of them had to stay in the same room and this was the only inn in miles. XD Just a thought though)

Seth went up to the counter. He breifely looked at the other man standing there.
"Excuse me. But I need a room." he said to the guy behind the counter.

The old man chuckled softly as moved the ash tray aside to make way for his binder that kept record of what room were available.
His fingers slowly skimmed down each page, "It seems I have no rooms available.." he spoke as he flipped to the last page.

Echo was about to speak until the Inn keeper blurted out, "Oh! Here is one!" The man looked up and noticed there were two men standing now.
"Well, I have only one room.." He paused, his eyes drifting to where it read 'Beds.'
"But it seems that room has two beds. You both can share."

The demon looked at the boy who had arrived. It was the same boy from before. Has this boy been following him? No, probably not. This is the only Inn in miles. It is probably just a coincidence

Echo tugged on his scarf to make it a bit looser, "I don't mind." he said glancing at the other male.

Seth sighed silently. He really didn't want to have to share. But if there was only one room, then there was no choice. This was the only Inn around.

"Fine. We can share. It doesn't matter." he said after a while. He turned to the man next to him. "If you don't bother me, I won't bother you." he told him.

'I really hope this man will leave me alone. I just need some space. But that is obviously not going to happen.' he thought.

"Sure" Echo chuckled at the boy's quick response. He's a tough one..or so it seems. He continued to chuckle softly, until the kepper handed the demon one of the keys to the room.

"Here you go" The old man said to Seth. "Don't be making to much trouble" He placed the binder beneath the desk and walked out of the room and into another that was behind the counter. "Oh! The room is Room 23 on the third floor." The keeper yelled from the other room.

"After you." Echo spoke gesturing towards the elevator.

Seth headed to the elevator silently. He pressed the button and waited for it to open. Once it did, he stepped inside and pressed the button for the third floor.

He remained silent while in the elevator. He didn't want to speak with the man he was going to be sharing a room with. He didn't think it would matter. Plus he kinda didn't care. He just wanted to get to his room and go to sleep. He was starting to get tired.

Hm, this may be a little harder than I thought. But there's nothing like a little bit of annoying to break the ice He thought to himself. The elevator had reached the third floor before the demon had a chance to say anything to the boy.

Echo walked out and peered at the hallway before proceeding. His eyes wondered at each sign on the door until they reached a sign that read 'Room 23'
"Ah, Here it is" he said placing the key into the slot.

The door opened with a slight creak.

Seth went into the room and looked around. He then went over to the bed closest to the window. He sat down on it. "This one's mine." he said. He laid back and closed his eyes. He was really tired. He hoped he would be able to get some sleep.

Echo decided not to bother the boy, he DID look a bit tired. So instead he went over to the other bed and set his things on the ground.

"Well, I don't know about you..but I'm soaked" he spoke, knowing he won't get a response but continued talking anyways. "I'm going to take a shower."

He laid his scarf on the drawer that displayed a huge mirror. He peered at his shirt and hair then walked back to his belongings where he had a towel. It was a black towel, and as you can see from his wardrobe...his favorite color WAS black.

Echo entered the bathroom and began to shower.

Seth sat up after Echo entered the bathroom. He was soaked as well. But he didn't have anything else to wear. So he pulled off his shirt and pants and wrung them out. He hung them over a chair near his bed.

He went back over to his bed and pulled back the covers. He laid down and pulled the blanket up to his chest. He rested his head on the pillow and closed his eyes. He hoped he would fall asleep quickly.

Echo leaned his head forward letting the water pour down his hair and covered his face. He wonder what exactly he was doing in the mortal world... trying to find his memories? Or just finding some entertainment? Well, whatever it was he was staying for at least a couple of days. Perhaps in that time span the boy, whose name he doesn't even know yet, will talk.

Echo never liked a silent one but then again...he found them a bit intriguing to say the least.
After a half hour or so of bathing, he got out and wrapped a towel around his waist, covering only his lower half of his body. He took another towel, that the Inn had laying on top of a shelf above the toilet, and ran it through his hair rigoriously then let it hang around his neck.

The demon looked over to the sink counter to only realize he didn't bring a change of clothes into the bathroom with him. Echo sighed and walked out of the bathroom, steam rose out from the room. He did like hot showers.
The male gathered his clothing and proceeded back into the bathroom to change.

When he got out the steam was calmer. He was now wearing a black tank top that clung onto his body nicely and some black-ish gray pants. Nothing to different from his earlier attire besides for the scarf and darker pants. Echo walked over to the bed as he dried his hair in the process.

Seth had opened his eyes when he heard the bathroom door open. But then he instantly closed them again, seeing as the man wasn't dressed. He kept them closed even after the man had left the room. Or when he returned. Though he was sure the man had gotten dressed by then.

He rolled over so that he was facing the wall. He put his pillow over his head and sighed silently. He was exhausted, but was finding it difficult to sleep.

Echo glanced over to the boy. It seems he was having trouble sleeping. Hmmm he thought as his finger gracefully wrapped around his necklace that he always wore.
He figured maybe he can use a..spell of some sort to help the boy sleep...plus, he didn't want an annoyed aura around the room. The demon whispered a few words that sounded like gibberish, it was unable to be heard to the human ear. Hopefully this will get the boy some sleep
The spell wasn't harmful in anyway and Echo had used it on demons and humans before. And if anything the boy would go into a deep sleep that would last from half an hour to an hour depending on how tired the person was.

The demon sighed as he looked through his stuff. "I wonder where I put that bloody thing" he muttered quietly to himself, seeming to want to find a sketchbook of some sort. Aaaha! Here it is! he pulled out a, you guessed it, a black sketchbook and a plain #2 pencil. he leaned against the bed frame, bringing his knees up to use them as a desk for his book.

Seth heard the man saying something. He knew it was some sort of spell, but he couldn't find it. He was instantly asleep.

A while later, he woke up. He sat up and looked around. He yawned lightly as his gaze settled on the man. He sighed silently as he laid back down. He was still tired.

"Have a nice rest?" His voice was piercing yet gentle at the same time. He closed his sketchbook and tucked the pencil within the binds of the book. Echo rustled a bit and was soon sitting at the edge of the bed.

His head turned towards the window, only to see that the rain has stopped.

"I know what you did." Seth said. He sat back up and was looking at him.

Echo's face didn't show any amazement but, how was it possible that a HUMAN, a human no less, can hear him cast a spell. It did amaze him even if his expression didn't show it.

He tried to play it off, "Haha" he started off trying not to expose what he really is. I mean, how is he exactly suppose to explain that he is actually a demon on a quest for his memories or just looking to entertain himself.

Echo looked at the boy as began to talk, "Eh, you can say I've studied witchcraft" he added with a chuckle, "But don't worry, it isn't bad."
Yeah, He has seen human preform these 'witchcrafts' before so perhaps he could pull it off.

"That wasn't witchcraft. There is not such thing as witchcraft. What you did was demonic." Seth said. It was something he knew for a fact. Angels didn't use spells. Unless it was to heal. Which was one spell he did know.
