Ona's parents look at the man who just entered and saved them. "Ok take us to her." her father said. "Wait the baby" her mother said then swam up to the room and picked the baby up. "Ok where is she is she ok?" her mother asked worried. Ona smiled then swam closer. "Then let me be the first" she said then hugged him. After a few moments she pulled back and smiled. "That was a thank you for saving me" she said smiling wider. She had felt warmer then usual when she had hugged him. SHe didn't know why but kind of liked it.

Luchen waits calmly. "She's fine. And she's with my uncle. He's good at protecting people. And with our bite..." He trails off, motioning to the men he dispatched. He then quickly swims out of the house, heading back to the cave at a decent pace. He doesn't seem to fond of talking to people, even ones of his own kind. Léan jumps a bit when he's hugged. After a moment of looking clueless, he awkwardly hugs back. "You're welcome," he says when she releases him.

Ona's parents followed him but then suddenly they were surrounded. Ona's father looked back at Luchen. "You go with the baby. We will hold them off. Tell Ona we love her" he said as her mother handed him the little baby. THen both turned to fight the guards. Ona giggled at Léon. "You really haven't been hugged." she mused. "How come your parents never hugged you?" she asked looking at him concerned.

Luchen rolls his eyes and puts a hand up. He charges at the first man, knocking him down. He seems to enjoy fighting and tries not to use his bite. He struggles for a bit, before taking down the next man, who's a great deal stronger than him. After a bit with that man, blood can be seen sliding down his arm and tinting the water. Léan shrugs. "My mother died when I was young, and my father, though kind, wasn't really a touchy feel-y person after she died. it was like all his love for contact died with her." He looks pained talking about her.

Ona gasped then wrapped her arms around him again. "I am so sorry." she said sadly. She didn't let him go. She knew she felt better when someone hugged her so she hoped so would Léon. Ona's parents shook their heads at the boy. "Son we can't go to where our daughter is because we will lead guards there." her father said. "They put tracking devises in us before you came. THey didn't see the baby so she is fine." her mother said sadly. "So you have to go other wise if we do you all will be in danger." her father said. they both didn't want to not see their daughter but it was the only way to protect all of them.

Luchen ponders that. "...All right." He sighs. He takes the baby and swims quickly back to the cave. He then explains what happened, directing himself to Léan. He handles the baby like it's a bomb. Léan perks up when Luchen comes back. He frowns at him. "Ugh. I feel like kicking them."

Ona looks up at Luchen sadly but she understood what her parents had said. She took he little sister from him and huggs her to her tightly. She sits next to Léon and leans her head on his shoulder She took a deep breath then sighed. "What now?"

Luchen ponders that. "We can't stay here forever, obviously. But, where can we go?" He thinks. Léan chews his lip. "We could go down towards the Bering Sea. Arcturus and Léandre should be there... Or we can head back towards Zosimo."

"Who's Arcturus and Léandre?" Ona asked looking up at the two confused. She held her sister closer and looked up at Léan. She still had her head on his shoulder.

Léan glances at her. "Mermen. A different species than us, though. Their father is friends with my brother." Luchen frowns. "I refuse to go anywhere near Betelgeuse. I'd rather die than see that man." He seems annoyed just talking about him. Léan facepalms. "And you think I want to see him? He should be fed to rabid...something nasty." He shakes his head.

"Oh what kind of mermen?" Ona said smiling. She liked meeting new people. "Maybe they are cute" she said smiling down at her sister. She looked up at them. "who's Betelgeuse? And why is he so bad?"
