Nicoletta turned and ran back to the comotion. she saw the dragon had been stabed. 'i should leave her here, but i said i have a heart' "GET THE HELL OFF HER!!!" she yelled throwing an energy ball at the hunter, hiting him compleatly. "I WILL KILL YOU!!!" she lunged at him grabing him by the throught. ripping him and drinking his blood. "YOU WILL NOT HURT THE CLOSEST THINGS TO FRIENDS I HAVE!" she screamed at him. After almost killing him she droped him on the ground and ran to the dragon "OMG ARE YOU Ok??" she asked. "dont move i promise i wont hurt you." she took the knifes out of the back of the dragons and got some water and washed the wounds.

Jezzebeth watched as the vampire sprinted away,just to find knives in her back.A blood curling screetch rang out of her throat as birds sprung up out of the trees.She drop kicked the hunter in the face to find the vampire attacking her.Jezzebeth gasped for breath,as the metal objects were pulled from her back.'Thank you.'Jezzebeth whispered breathlessly.She took a few steps back from the vampire,not out of being afraid but she needed to get to the group.As purple blood ran from Jezzebeths wounds her vision had become quite foggy but not enough to make her pass out.'Goodbye..I hope we meet again.'Jezzebeth whispered to the vampire,noding her head in apperciation as she leaped up into the trees and took off,sprinting back towards the group.She landed with a huge thud to the ground,ignoring the pain in her back she walked over to Danzi and put a hand on his shoulder,staring down at the last thing she had left in this world.Jezzebeth smiled warmly,and this gave her a motive to keep on walking.

Danzi smirked at her question.'Shes angery because your one of the last things that bind her to the human world,after you die well..she disappears taking me with her.Shes determind to protect you because she loves you and has built a connection with you.Something her and I have never had.'Danzi said lightly as they walked.He noticed she had seemed to clutch onto his shirt,he paid no mind to it.But when Jezzebeth showed up he got the sniff of blood.He gently placed Esmme down on her feet and turned Jezzebeth around,examining her back.He sighed in frustration.'The hunters are back.'Danzi said in a whisper to where the group could hear.

The woman painfully twitched, groaning. She was barely alive . . . and steadily losing blood. The vampire and the dragon had done her quite a bit of damage, the assassin realized. Gasping for breath, her eyes flit up to the sky in disdain. I always was a bit too overzealous for my own good. Mentally scoffing, she tried to move, but couldn't. I never was too good at picking fights I could win. Perhaps that was why they'd let her become a hunter - she was brash and stupid.

"Jezzebeth!" Esmme was on her feet and already reaching for the dragon's arm. "What on earth happened?" Moving to walk behind her, the human pressed her sleeve to one of Jezzebeth's wounds. Her mind was whirling with the thought of what Danzi had said, but she tried to stop thinking about it - she didn't like the thought of being so temporary in the lifetime of a dragon. Humans were the youngest race, and lived the shortest span - it wasn't fair.

Nicoletta picked the hunter back up after the dragon had left. "do you want me to spare your life" she asked with a hard yet questioning look on her face.

Jezzebeth smiled and shook her head.'Its just some minor cuts,ill be alright.Lets just get out of here and ill explain it once we reach the city.'Jezzebeth said in a harsh tone.She was completely out of breath from the running and they were only a few more paces away from the small village.Little did Esmme know,her future contained much more to come.

Danzi glared at Jezzebeth.'Minor cuts my ass!'He yelled at her,ready to stomp off and kill a hunter.Danzi sighed in frutration and simpley held up most of Jezzebeths weight as they walked.Apparently she had been running the whole time.How could you be so ignorant to run off alone?Danzi thought towards Jezzebeth.

The woman grimaced, trying to push away from the vampire. "Do what you think right," she hissed, her accent thick. "I not be going back to the hunters after this." Every 'i' sounded like an 'e' as she spoke, her her brown eyes filled with pain and anger; humiliation. "No care for me."

"Alright," Esmme said, looking toward the human area. It wasn't far; less than a mile off now. It was visible, and her pace changed considerably. She didn't want Jezzebeth to be in pain . . . she didn't deserve it.

Jezzebeth sighed softly,feeling quite frustrated.She was fine,although the wounds hurt.She then talked on with Esmme with her mind,not wanting anyone else to listen in to there conversation.'Esmme..I promise you..one day ill find a way to keep you alive and looking young forever..even if it kills me.'Jezzebeths soft voice edged its way into her mind.Ofcourse that was a big task but she would find some way to do it,someday.

Danzi decied to not listen in on the girls conversation and keep on walking along side of them.They were so close to the city now,it was so worth the trip,having a nice bed to sleep in tonight and being safe away from a hunter.Danzi couldn't wait to be honest.The sooner they were out of the forest,the better.

"no i wont kill you... that wouldnt be punishment enough, its easy to die." she thought for a minute "i will curse you to a life of eternal damnation" she leaned over and bit the hunters neck hard, making sure to put enough venom to change her. then threw her back on the ground. She stuck her nose up and headed back to the city.

'Don't kill yourself for me,' Esmme thought, and then continued onward until they were entering the town itself, where the girl tugged both Danzi and Jezzebeth toward the nearest sign for an Inn. They needed rest now, and she wanted to make sure her dragon friend healed up quickly before the hunters regained their trail somehow.

Shusuke kept up his glamor, knowing that dropping around humans was never a good idea. The last time he'd done it, he'd had to abandon his hometown in order to stay with the group . . . and he still wasn't sure how he felt about that. Stepping into the inn, the "human" pushed his glasses up his nose, smiling at the innkeeper before moving to purchase rooms. One for the men, one for the women - after all, Shusuke was one of the only ones with money, due to the fact that he'd been living with a village for many years.
He approached the others with the keys to the rooms, a slight smile on his face. Brushing his black hair from his face, the youth chuckled. "I got a deal since there's so many of us."

The hunter cried out in pain as the vampire bit into her, and then struggled to get away. Unfortunately, she was shoved to the ground, left there to . . . turn. Pressing a gloved hand to her neck, the woman grit her teeth as a burning fire spread through her. Her scream of pain filled the area as the venom spread, forcing its way through her. It was the worst thing she'd ever felt - nothing could compare.
When night fell, she would be a vampire.

Jezzebeth closed her eyes for a brief moment,trying to cover the marks on her back with her long silver hair.She then replied to Esmmes statement.[i]'Esmme,your special in many different ways and you have powers you have not yet come to reach.You deserve a long life along with us.I dont care what anyone says and Danzi has come to agree.'Jezzebeth said lightly,opening her eyes to find the elf had gotten a deal.Jezzebeth nodded in content.'Lead the way?'Jezzebeth asked lightly,a warm smile spreading across her features.These people were all she needed as corny as it sounded.

Danzi watched as the elf went up to the inn keeper and got them a deal.But he kept his arm around Jezzebeths waist,supporting her to stay up.Thats when he took a small peek into Jezzebeths and Esmmes conversation.It was true that he agreed and she had proved she was different.Every human carried some kind of trait to take in others pain or inflect it,and the way Esmme was,she was one to take on a challenge.Although,this friendship between all of them seem to grow and grow.Danzi was happy Jezzebeth found someone to be able to take care of her,although when Jezzebeth was to ever pass on,he would have to take care of Esmme.

Nicoletta turned to her human form and walked into the city. She hoped she would mmet her 'friends' again. she saw a church and just had to walk in.

Shusuke nodded, and grabbed Lyna's hand to pull her along with him as they walked to the stairway that led up to the rooms. Once upstairs, the elf went to the end of the hallway, where it was the most sheltered from the downstairs tavern's noise. His slender hand withdrew two keys - girls, and boys room.
Unlocking each, he handed Lyna the key to the women's room before stepping toward his own. "Tonight, we rest. Tomorrow we should gather supplies and start looking around to see if we can get some secret way out of the city." Perhaps a boat, or some sort of caravan. It was a fairly large port on the side of a rather large river, so hopefully they would be able to get without any hunters following them.

Esmme kept with Danzi and Jezzebeth, marveling over the dragon's words. More than human? Perhaps someday. The thought was almost too exciting to contain, but the dark-haired girl somehow managed it. When it came to where they all had to split into gendered rooms, Esmme pointed to the nearest girl's bed. "Can you put her down there? I can patch her up that way." Anything for Jezzebeth.

Danzi didn't feel quite comfertable to be separating from Esmme and Jezzebeth.He had grown use to sleeping beside them and he was pretty sure Lyna and Shusuke would end up sleeping in the same bedroom.Danzi sighed and simpley nodded as he walked into the room that Esmme pointed out and sat Jezzebeth down but kept her siting up.He knew she didn't need his aid but he had grown use to taking care of Jezzebeth.She was like his little sister.

Jezzebeth listened to the conversation that had gone on.Separating from Danzi?Oh this wouldn't be pretty.As she was sat down she almost flinched but kept her features emotionless.Oh how she wished that the earth could rid of metal weapons.It sickened her the way most hunters tried to track them down like play things.Jezzebeth sighed softly and kept on siting up.'Thank you Esmme.'Jezzebeth said lightly as she let her muscles and body relax.

Nicoletta went to the alter of the church and prayed. She didnt know why she did this. but she beileved in god and that he would forgive her from all she had done.

Esmme didn't reply, but merely started to gather some towels and washclothes from the bathroom. Once she had enough, she sent a glance toward Danzi. "Can you go ask if they have bandages? It would be easier than ripping apart their bedsheets." She smiled sheepishly, realizing her gaze had caught on him for a few moments longer than necessary.
Refocusing on Jezzebeth, she started. "Oh, and a needle and thread too? Please?"

Danzi nodded and got up and left the room.He went out to the front and talked to the man who ran the inn.He gave Danzi the possesions he had asked for and walked back into the room with the girls.'Lucky us,we got the last bit of supplies for wounds.'Danzi said as he handed Esmme the kit and sat aside and watched her actions.He had noticed that her gaze had remained locked onto Danzis for abit longer then expected.He smiled warmly to himself and shook off the smile and watched.

She got up and looked around.

"Where there is good, there is also evil." Lyna whispered to him before she pulled her glamour on even more, making it like a blanket over her. Soon they were in the town, in rooms and in seperate rooms. Lyna silently watched everything that was going on, not quite sure what was going on or why the vampire was back and who she was exactly.

Esmme thanked Danzi before starting to patch Jezzebeth up, pulling the shirt away from her wounds before cleaning and stitching them up. She hadn't done such things before, but she suddenly felt as though she could - if it meant her friend's safety, she'd do just about anything. It wasn't long before the dragon was all patched up and cleaned. "Better?"

Danzi watched her smooth movements to the stiching.It was so odd how a human could be so graceful at well..stiching.Danzi thought he had missed something and then he watched the two.

Jezzebeth smiled warmly,feeling alot better although she still was abit soar.'Thank you Esmme.'She said in a warm tone but remained seated.

Danzi sighed and decied to take this oppertunity to talk with Esmme - alone.'Esmme,would you like to go for a walk with me?'Danzi asked as he looked at her eyes.It was about time he talked things out and tell her what had all happend on that little plateu of theres but also open up.If Jezzebeth was going to bond with her,he might aswell too.

Esmme smiled at Jezzebeth's thanks, fondly patting her arm. When she heard Danzi's question for going on a walk, she stuttered a bit before silencing. "That would be nice," she replied, blushing furiously. A walk? With Danzi? Oh dear goodness, he's so . . . she stopped herself with a glance to Jezzebeth. Nice.
Stepping away from the bed, the dark-haired youth washed her hands and cleaned up a bit before coming back out and smiling at Danzi. "I'm ready whenever you are." I hope.
