Chanelle held up her hands in defeat. "No cold stare needed sir. wakefeild." She said, rolling her eyes. "And yes, very overdue. Especially since you never got me anything when you were with my mom, which totally sucked by the way. I believe I did hate you than...." she mused in thought than hugged him. "But you're oh so lovable now!" she said and giggled.

She took the ice cream, spooning a little out at a time and savoring it as if she'd never get the frozen yummyness again, eating almost three fourths of it before giving it to Levin at the house.

She got out, going over to lucky and smiling, picking her up an setting her on the palm of her hand and smiled at her. "Aw, she's sooooo ceeute." She said an than smiled. "What do you think? Should we get him?" She asked and smiled, taking the opening and closing of her pincher as a yes and setting her back in her cage [thingy] than going up to her room, changing into a more comfortable yet revealing night gown. Anyways, he was just her step-dad. Nothing more... Yet.

She walked back down with a big black feather behind her back and smirked. "Nothing..." she said and grinned,taking out the feather and she tickled him with it.

"Ahhh, Monte I'm under attack. Ahhh! Hey, knock it off! Stop! Oh my god, that tickles! Go find someone else to... ha ha... torture! Go away!" Lifting her up didn't seem to work, so he had to pull out Plan B. Running away while laughing his butt off, he dove onto his bed. "Ahhh! My room is safe! This is a no t-t-t-ti-tickle... go away!"

Rolling over, Levin hid his face in the pillows. "Go away! Stop tickling me! Oh my god! Gah!" Grabbing her arm, he was able to turn the tide in his favor. Being twice her size and ten times stronger, pinning her was simple. Straddling her, he sat lightly on her hips. His hands were holding down her squirming wrists, but Levin had the advantage. "Ahh, freedom. Now no more tickling! I am highly squirm-ish when it comes to tickling."

His eyes looked down at her. She was attractive. Okay, that was a huge understatement, but he knew better than to think of her in that way. He was her guardian and given the title of step-father very unwillingly. Either way, he kept her arms down by sliding up on her chest. Using his knees as a brace to keep her from squirming, he gave her a very devious grin. "I shall discover your weakness. Now where are you most ticklish and vulnerable? The arm pits? Tummy? Knees? Neck? Feet?"

Chanelle giggled, following him and continuing to tickle him before he pinned her down and she blushed slightly than sealed her lips with a grin. "Not telling..." She said and smiled, her vanilla scented perfume enveloping them. "You'll have to find out for yourself." She said and grinned.

She sighed trying to get out from under him. "I surrender! Just let me up... Please?" She said, making her eyes fill with tears as she looked at him.

Giving her a sly look, Levin rolled over and laid beside her. His nostrils filled with her scent, which caused him to smile. "You smell delicious." Propping his head up with his hand, Levin blushed some. "Don't you think you're a little too young to be wearing something like that? Besides, you should know better than to tease a man in such an outfit."

Letting his arm lift up, he flopped back onto the bed. The ceiling above him was dotted with stars and constellations. "I was bored one day so I had a friend paint me the night sky on my ceiling. I've always been a sucker for looking up at the stars and the clouds. I wish I were free like that. Free to just float around and chill with my other shining friends. But nah, I'm stuck being a jerk-face guardian for some risque teenager."

His mind wandered for a bit, eyes shifting every now and then. "So which dress did you go with?" Levin sat up and looked over at his closet. "Depending on what color you picked and what it looks like, I might have to go out and buy myself a new suit. I'm hoping I won't have to... but I wouldn't mind. I love dressing up. Ha ha. I got used to it after joining the FBI."

Levin's hand moved toward her butt. He wasn't going after her. No, he was after the channel changer which she was almost sitting out. With it in his hands, he looked at her eyes. The reflection of himself sent Levin's head turning away to hide the bright red blush that now covered his well-crafted face. "I wonder if there is anything good on." He pulled the clicker closer, but before turning the TV on, he admired Chanelle for just a moment. To him, that moment lasted hours. But, in reality, it was still to short lived for him. A mere second wasn't enough. He would need more. Chanelle was his fix. And like a druggie needs his crack, Levin needed Chanelle.

Swallowing, he shifted his body some. Moving in closer to Chanelle, his bedroom eyes looked longingly at her. Coming onto her, Levin was now just inches from her lips. Mouth opening to kiss her, his sanity snapped back. Turning his head away quickly, he took a deep breath. Levin, what the hell are you thinking? Staring at the TV (which was still off), Levin just sat their motionless.

She blushed and rolled her eyes. "No. And it's comfortable..." She said and frowned, making herself look upset. "Do you not like it...?" she asked him than looked at his Ceiling. "What's you favorite constellation?" She asked him.

Looking she frowned. "You're not a jerk, if you were, I would have probably moved out with one of my gay guy friends, not boy friend, mind you." She told him.

She looked at him for a moment, a bit stunned that he was getting closer to her, not expecting him to almost kiss her, but she didn't make a move to get away, and even though she didn't show it she was a bit disappointed when he turned away though she said nothing, just tried to make sense of it all. Did Levin, like her? Like that? She let a slight smile pull at her lips and decided that this would just be her repayment for him getting her tons of stuff that day, that was all, and than pulled him back, pressing her lips to his for a long, slow kiss than pulled away. "Never, tell anyone I did that..." She said and than got up, heading to her room.

Before getting completely won over by her comment about her outfit, Levin replied with, "I like Hydra. But Orion is pretty cool too. Okay, so I like them all." He was going to comment on how her skimpy little gown was turning him on, but when her lips met his, the thought was gone.

Lost in the kiss, Levin longed for more after she left. He wanted to follow her, but he knew doing so would be too hasty of himself. He wasn't supposed to fall in love with her. Hell, she was supposed to hate his guts. Not kiss him. Biting his lip, he felt a sensation rush over him. The salty flavor of his bleeding lip was just awakening his inner man - the man that would seduce any woman of his picking. Forcing his teeth together along with his eyes, Levin took several deep breaths. I need to talk to her.

Hesitant at first, his confidence soon flooded back into him. Taking silent steps toward her room, Levin pushed open the door and rested his back against the frame. "Why did you do that?" Still looking forward at her door, his eyes eventually shifted to look at her. "You know I can't be with you, so why would you tease me in such a way? It's bad enough I have to live you? But now I have that kiss to think about? Do you enjoy torturing me or something? Because frankly, if you're going to do that, I'm going to have to get rid of you. I can't get romantically involved with you." His tone was harsh, but the shakiness and the longing look in his eyes screamed otherwise. He wanted her. Badly. But, being the modest, gentleman, he was going to do everything in his power to not let himself fall in love with her smile.

Chanelle smiled at him, biting her lip just to keep from busting out into a fit of giggles. "Levin... Are you saying in a very subtle, scolding manner that you like me?" She asked him, crossing her fingers behind her back. She could see right through the lie and when he said he was going to get rid of her and she shrank back a bit and shook her head. "I'm sorry." She said and bit her lip, a tear going down her cheek and dropping onto the floor.

She went into the door of the bathroom on the right side of her room and closed the door, locking it and than sitting down on the other side, hugging her knees.

Emotions all astir in him, Levin walked into the room and pressed his head against the door."Come on, you know better than to say that. I can't like you. I would ruin your life. I'm the last man in the world that you should ever hook up with. I'm not good enough for you." Exhaling, he felt his confession come up from his gut. "I do feel more for you than I should, but I can't. I can't hurt you like I hurt your mother. I broke her heart. I can't break yours too."

Frowning, he walked out of the room. Clenching his heart, Levin fumbled about the living room before falling head first over the couch. Landing with a hard thud on the floor, he winced at the slight discomfort he was in. But compared to the anguish he felt in his heart, falling on the ground was nothing. With his eyes closing, Levin just laid there listening to silent air around him.

"How are you going to fix this Levin? You know you can't get involved with her? And yet you let yourself blindly fall in love with her? Damn, you must be desperate if you're going after a seventeen year old girl." Wincing, he did his best to keep his tears from falling, but when they finally crested his lid, he let them crash down onto the wooden floor. Wallowing in his own foolishness and self-pity, the male didn't even notice the time that flashed on the DVD player - 7:14pm. Sooner of later, he was going to have to face the fact and make his decision - was she worth loving and throwing his life away for or should he just slowly let her go?

Chanelle waited until she heard him leave her room than she came out of the bathroom, wiping her eyes and closing her bedroom door quietly, going over to her computer and spending a few hours working on her homework, trying to keep her mind off of Levin.

In the end she spent about three hours and finished near all her homework for the week she was suspended as well as getting a killer headache. Sighing, she got up from her desk and lay down on her bed and sighed, getting her phone and putting in her ear phones and blasting the music as loud as she could, listening to the lyrics more than she did the music and closed her eyes, not falling asleep but just dreaming that none of her present life had ever happened.

The time on the DVD player finally made sense in Levin's head. Shooting up, he moved into the kitchen and went to work making a meal. Cooking. It was something that relaxed him. It was also something he did for females he liked. Without paying any attention the the ingredients, Levin soon found himself taking a good whiff of his famous stuffed-shells. Now Levin hardly ever made these delicious shells because they were his secret weapon for winning over a woman's heart. In all his years of dating, he never had a woman turn him down after nearing dying from eating the most heavenly meal ever.

Frowning, he looked at the pasta. Dammit. I guess I do like Chanelle more than I hoped. Another long exhale followed, but rather than letting it ruin anything, he went to her room. Rapping lightly on the door, Levin pushed it open and popped his head in. "Dinner is served, my princess." Slouching when he noticed the headphones, he crept over to her bed. Kissing the side of her lips, a small smile appeared on his face. "Come on, I made us some dinner." Ruffling her curls with his hand, he rested his free hand beside hers. "Don't make me eat alone. If you even think about it, I will have to start that tickle war back up, and trust me, I will win it."

Sliding his hand into his pockets, his fingers bumped up against a little velvet box. His eyes met hers. "I... I bought you something." Pulling out the little box, he handed it off to Chanelle. "I... I hope it fits you." Getting onto her bed, he crawled over her. Looking down at her, a devious grin came over him. "Screw the rules. Kiss me."

Chanelle texted Cailie while he was cooking, still listening to music and than they ended up having a group chat between her, Cailie, Skylar , and Mitch and they all went back and forth about things, especially when Chanelle told them about the kiss with her step-dad, that was something they enjoyed talking about most, smiling at some of their jokes they made about it.

She minimized the app on her phone when he came over and kissed her, turning off the music and listening to what she said and shrugged. "I'll be down in a few." She said, forcing aside her mixed emotions and forcing herself to keep her attitude daughterly. She didn't want to make him angry or upset with her again.

She looked at the box for a moment and smiled, hesitating for a moment than wrapping her arms around him and kissed him, though she knew it wasn't something a step-daughter should be doing, she couldn't help but enjoy it while she could.

He was happy with his choice. Hell, he got a kiss out of it. His mind wanted something less romantic, but his gut and heart were drawn to the quaint little necklace. For as simplistic as it was, Levin had to pay a hefty price for it. Could you say, half a thousand dollars? If it wasn't love, then he was just retarded or extremely foolish. The word desperate also came to his mind, but he knew better than to call himself a whore. Either way, Levin couldn't help but lock lips back. Pinning her down some of the bed, he realized he was getting a little 'frisky' for her at the moment. Forcing himself away, he left the room to get dinner ready.

But before doing that, he his first stop was his bedroom. He needed to... dress up a little more for her. Looking at his outfits, he picked one that was simple. He figured that wearing a suit would be a little weird, so opted against it. Setting down her necklace, which he somehow managed to not give her, Levin smiled.

His hands walked across his line-up of clothes. Removing his shirt, he reached for his typical Saturday clothes. It was nothing more than his black t-shirt with his black jacket. Looking at his black suit pants, he figured he might as well keep them on. His mind thought that he might lose them later. Shaking his head at that perverted comment, he looked over at his cologne. Levin didn't want to completely ruin her noise and make her fall head over heels for him, but he didn't want to use the cheap stuff his mother bought him when he was younger. Finding a scent he liked, he spritzed his body with it. Inhaling, he smiled. Let's see how she likes this.

Splashing water on his face, he somehow managed to beat her downstairs. Resting his palms against the oven's handle, a side smile came when she entered the kitchen. Pushing himself off, he moved across the off white tiles to her backside. First his arms wrapped around her waste. Then, he planted a kiss on her neck and then a few more up to her ears. While kissing her, his arms then drew her closer as he stood there embracing her. Just holding her, Levin didn't make a sound or even say anything.

Chanelle was a bit startled when he wrapped his arms around her but idn't move away from him, she couldn't help it either way, he smelled too goo to pull away from. It was a subtle scent that she liked, nothing too strong or too light but much rather just right.

she tilted her head slightly when he kissed her neck, closing her eyes for a few moments until she felt the necklace around her neck and smiled, touching the cold metal against her skin and let a hand raise to gently stroke his cheek.

At that moment she knew he was hers, but just wished she'd listen to common sense and find a way to pull away from him. she didn't want to be more trouble than she already was, and he could possibly end up losing everything for her, and yet, he still held her close, as if it didn't even matter.

Levin smiled when she stroked his cheek. Moving his hands down her body, he intertwined their fingers together. A light tug and he brought her over to the table. He pulled her chair out and pushed it in when she sat down. Moving over to his own seat, Levin smiled again. His eyes were still on her. In fact, they never left her the entire time. Blinking, he passed the shells to her.

"These are my most prized meal. I do hope you enjoy." Using his fork, he sliced through the large shell and smiled as he looked at its inner treat. A large sniff in, and he began to eat once she had first sampled it. "So?" he asked almost immediately after she popped a piece in her mouth. "Am I an amazing cook, or what?"

She smiled. "They're amazing." She said and nodded. "You are." she said agreeing with him as she finished her meal, dabbing at her lips and she closed her eyes. "And if you're coming with us tomorrow, you have to go to bed early because Cailie's coming around... five thirty of six in the morning." She said, bringing up the spa and smiled, shaking her head a the though of seeing him getting a bikini wax, not that she was going to make him, but there were making Mitch get a bikini wax, and Chanelle was sure he'd end up chickening out of it somehow.

She pause for a moment as she heard her phone go off, a ringtone she knew for a person from long ago played a soft sad cello song and Chanelle got up, going to get her phone and than came back down the stairs only five minutes later and setting the phone on the table.

what a way to ruin things... she thought and looked at Levin. "My dad called." She said softly, frowning at the words.

"Don't you think that's a little early to hit the spa? And I'm honored to receive an invite, but I will decline. Last thing I need to do is have you in a bathing suit near me. Your friends know I'm your guardian. Not sure you want them to know we're making out behind closed doors." Standing, he grabbed their plates and began washing them.

When she returned with a sad look on his face, he was going to ask what was wrong but she beat him too it. "How is that a bad thing? You should be thrilled he's calling you. You haven't spoken with him in forever. Maybe you can invite him to the spa with you tomorrow." Drying his hands, he saw the sad look still lingered in her eyes. "Love, what's wrong?" A look of concern flooded his eyes as he rushed over to embrace her. "Hey, shhhh. I'm still here." Cupping her head into his hands, he placed a sweet kiss on her nose. Smiling, he folded her head into his chest. Levin had a bad feeling this would be complicated from here on out. But he had no idea just how complicated complicated truly was.

She hugged him, burring her face in his chest and taking a moment, breathing him in and shrugged. she honestly didn't know what was wrong. She usually thought abut him calling and her being thrilled about it but she wasn't, especially not when he told her about his 'plans for her future'.

Deciding to let it go for now she pulled away for a moment, giving Levin a small smile. "It's just been a while, and he changed a bit is all..." She lied. She'd tell Levin about it later. "And as for the spa thing, don' worry, Me and Cai have a different room than you and Mitchell. We made a bet with Mitch and he lost so he has to get a bikini wax now..." she told him, changing the subject, a real smile now pulled at her lips.

"I find that hard to believe," he said stroking her cheek. 'So how about you stop lying to me and tell me what he wanted. I'm a cop. It's my job to know when people lie. So please, don't lie to me. And if you are, then I guess you're not worth my life, money, or love."

Releasing her, Levin walked into his living room and plopped down on the couch. "It hurts to think that you have to lie to me to prevent hurting me. It actually hurts the soul more when you lie. I'm a big boy, believe it or not. I can handle the cold, hard truth." His voice was monotone the entire time he spoke. It wasn't his sweet, loving voice that caressed the ears. No, it was Levin's 'I'm pissed so leave me alone' tone.

"He want me to go to some boarding school for sorority girls, in Europe..." she mumbled. "And I don't want to go. The thing I hated about my mom and dad is that they were always making decisions for me and it really ticks me off..." She sighed and stood, looking between Levin and her escape route to her room and deciding to get Levin in a better mood before going to bed.

She walked over to him and sighed. "Don't use that tone with me, or I'll bite you." She said, hands on her hips and she arched and eyebrow at him before smiling and kissing his lips.

Pulling her back into his arms, Levin continued to kiss Chanelle. His hands slid up her back in an attempt to remove her outfit, but he exerted some self-control. Stopping the kiss, which helped stop the urge, Levin spun his little princess around and placed her on his lap.

"What's wrong with that? I can always transfer to the European branch. Granted, the odds of me getting back into the FBI here are slim to nothing, but that's okay. I'll be retiring soon. I'm getting old." Nibbling on her face, Levin no longer fought to hold back his smile. "Well, I hate to keep you up all night, so I guess I'll let you be. But, if you get lonely, you can always come join me in my bed." Biting her neck like a vampire, Levin pushed her off and sent her away.

He stood and went into his room. Flinging his shirt off and then removing his pants, the blonde stared at his reflection in the mirror. I look so lonely. I definitely need a woman by my side to complete me.

Chanelle frowned. "But I have no friends there and there will be more girls there like Vanessa." She said and pouted. "The other thing that's wrong with it is that I don;t fit in with that crowd." She mumbled, walking to her room and sitting on her bed for a few moments before going to her closet, going to the back where it was nothing but Lingerie and got a bra and underwear to wear than put her bathrobe on, going to the laundry room the and putting the dress to be washed and sighed when she saw the laundry.

looks like I'll have to work on this tomorrow... she thought and went back to her room, looking at Levin's door and a smile pulled at her lips before she closed the door, turning out the light and laying in her bed, turning off her alarm so it wouldn't wake her up in the morning.

A frown was on his face now. She was off to bed and he was still wide awake and bored out of his mind. Technically, she didn't have school tomorrow so he could go back into the room and grab her. But, being a grown man, Levin knew better than to get that romantically involved before they even started dating.

Rather than watching TV in the living room, Levin escaped into the hallway and pushed open her door lightly. Creeping in, he placed a kiss on the side of her lips and inched back out of the room. Closing the door behind him, he moved onward toward his room.

The large bed was enough to make him look like a three-year-old, but still, it was wicked soft. Flopping down, he let his eyes stare at the TV screen before he eventually fell asleep in a rather awkward position. One leg was twisted under a pillow while the other was outstretched over the edge of the bed. His face was facing the opposite direction in which his body laid and his arms were just a royal mess of curves and bends.

Chanelle slept peacefully for the night, until about three in the morning when she began to toss and turn, nightmares plaguing her final hours of sleep before she finally got up at about five, taking deep breaths and running her fingers through her hair before getting up and walking into the bathroom, taking her a long, warm shower and rinsing off her hair than stepping out, getting dressed in her usual clothing, a basic pair of black skinies and a T-shirt than walked out of her room and down the stairs.

She walked into the kitchen, pouring her a small cup of sweet grass juice [stuff] and sat down at the table sipping on it for a while until she heard the horn of Cailie's car and she got up, grabbing her phone and purse and leaving a small note for Levin before walking out.
