Axel walks through the halls, quietly. it's late, but he's not nearly as tired as he should be. He sighs, letting his mind wander. Mainly to his 'ward' of sorts, Roxas. Why they put a happy kid with a guy like his was beyond him. Axel thought of himself as an asshole, and violent. He sees a light on under Demyx's door and chuckles. So he wasn't the only night owl. He pauses outside, debating if he wanted to deal with the hyper guy that late. Deciding against it, he kept walking, walking past Roxas's room.


Demyx was also up late, playing his sitar. He hums along cheerfully. He fiddles with the pitches, pausing every so often to write stuff down. In his pausing, he hears footsteps? Zexion? There was a man that Demyx could easily say he idolizes, if not more. He waits to see if anyone knocks. Once he hears the foot steps receeding, he goes back to playing, content.

Roxas had already collapsed, sighing happily as he lay on his bed. He yawned, but sat up. He bent down over the bed to unlace his boots. He sighed in relieve as he kicked the boots away from him. He took his cloak off and glanced at the door. He probably should lock it, since he has been know to sleep walk on occasion, but decided it was pointless. Even in his sleep, no locked door can block him. He turned the light off and plopped back down on his pillows, hoping for a day off tomorrow so he could relax.

Zexion sat quietly in the Castle's Library, scanning through the book in front of him. He jumped lightly as a clock sounded, its sound echoing around the empty library. "Is it that late already...." he muttered, putting the book back on the shelf. He turned and left the large room, making sure the lights were off. It's true he could always just teleport to his room, but he found it more relaxing to walk. Especially when all the other memebers were sleeping. That meant more time for him to think. He walked down the hallway, the faint sound of music reaching his ears. So Demyx was still awake. He figured he could stop by and spend some time there. He wasn't tired and there was nothing better to do besides read. And even that caused a strain on his eyes after awhile. He paused outside the blonde's room and knocked lightly.

(Sorry, I had a brain fart last night and wasn't really on for long today.)

Axel heads into his room, and hangs his coat up. He kicks his shoes off by the door and curls up on his bed, yawning. He stretches a bit, then closes his eyes. He's not too tired, but if he doesn't try to sleep now he won't sleep. And he needs to be awake if he's training Roxas more. Which he's expecting to. Saix never gives them time off. He opens his eyes, long enough to roll them, then shifts, closing them again.

Demyx pauses in his playing long enough to call, "Come iin!" He perks up when he sees Zexion walk in. "Hi, Zexy. Why're you still up?" He plays a bit more, watching Zexion slightly. He jots down more notes, furrowing his eyebrows at them. He then erases something and replays it.

(That's fine. It happens.)

Once Roxas drifted to sleep, his dreams were filled with hundreds of Heartless. He tossed and turned on his bed for a few minutes, resulting in his blanket getting tangled up in his legs. But he stood up, fell, got the blanket off and ran from his room, all the while staying asleep. He ran through the halls of the castle til he eventually ran into a wall in the kitchen. This resulted in him being jolted from his dream. He looked around confused for a second before going over to the fridge. Might as well get something to eat while he was here.

"I could ask you the same thing." Zexion said, going over to sit on the edge of the bed. "But... If you must know. I was in the library." When he wasn't on missions, he was always in the library. At least he wasn't hard to find when someone needed something from him. Which normally was Xigbar and always for the stupidest reasons. "Don't you think it's kinda late to be playing that?" he asked, nodding his head to the sitar.

Axel suddenly sits up, jolting awake. he frowns, puzzled, then notices he's thirsty. He groans and heads down to the kitchen, in just a pair of sweat pants. He wanders in and sees Roxas. "Hey, Roxas. Sleepwalking again?" he'd seen Roxas do that a few times, and almost expected it now. He heads to the cabinet and grabs a glass, filling it with water and leaning against the counter.

"Of course. And inspiration struck!" he pouted a bit. "So I had to write it down, so I didn't forget, and I just lost track of time." He scratches his head sheepishly. "I'm good at that though..." He's quite aware of his fault, but doesn't dwell on them. "Find any good, not boring books?" He's partly teasing now. He likes to read, but has the attention span of a bug, unless he's playing or talking with friends, then it's a bit longer.

Roxas shook his head quickly, ducking his head down in embarassment. "No! Of course not!" he exclaimed, going to the fridge and pulling out some ingredients to make a sandwhich. He just made a basic ham and cheese, not really in the mood to do anything more extravagent. "What made you think that?"

Zexion shook his head. "None that you'd be interested in." he said, shrugging lightly. He was basically rereading some of the books he's already read and was actually kinda bored of them himself. He was still slightly amazed that Demyx was actually into reading. He didn't know how he'd be able to read a book when he's always distracted.

"'Cause most normal people aren't in the kitchen this late. Myself included. Then again, we all know I'm not normal." He chuckled, leaning more against the counter. "Food this late?" he asked, wrinkling his nose. He could never eat this late, hence the water. He watched Roxas make the sandwich.

"You need to read some comic books," Demyx exclaimed cheerfully. There was the child in Demyx coming out. One thing he adored was old comic books. He put his sitar aside and pulled out an old comic book. This one was called Angelic Layer. It seemed to be one of the Japanese comic books called 'Manga'. He held it up. "I have more if you'd like."

(Wow. I had so many issues finding non-weird comic books. XD)

Roxas was silent for a few seconds before sighing. "Alright.. Fine. I was sleepwalking.." he muttered, looking down at his feet for a second before returning his gaze to his sandwich. He nodded. "Yeah... I didn't get much dinner earlier." he admitted, slightly embarassed.

Zexion took the comic and flipped through it, briefly skimming the pages. The second time he looked through it, he went a bit more slowly, actually taking the time to look at what was on the pages. "Maybe tomorrow, after I get the chance to actually look at this." he said.

((This one sounds interesting. I'll have to look at it sometime.))

"Figures. We need to tie you to the bed or something." He looked amused at the idea. He then rolled his eyes at the second comment. 'Good job, Blondie. I bet you learned a lesson." He paused. "Hm, I wonder if your not eating and sleepwalking are related." He pondered that for a moment.

"Yay!" Demyx cheered. He seemed to be happy to find something in common with Zexion. He danced a place a bit, thinking of what else he could show him. He glanced around the room, frowning a bit. He didn't like silence, of course anyone that knew him knew that.

Roxas laugh lightly when he heard Axel's suggestion. "I'll pass on that." he said, his smile lingering for a few seconds before it faded to a light frown. He didn't particularly enjoy being called Blondie, but since it was his friend, he wasn't going to say anything about it. The next comment made him shrug. "Maybe. Nothing I could do about it though. Not with Saix sending me on so many missions I get to otired to eat when I get home."

An amused look crossed Zexion's face when he looked up from the comic in time to watch Demyx dancing in place. He was silent for a few seconds, knowing about the blonde's problem with silence. "...Is there any books you'd recommend, other than comics?" he asked.

Axel grinned, knowing he didn't like being called Blondie, yet also knowing he'd deal with it because it was Axel saying it. "Aw, you know you'd love it," he teased. He rolled his eyes when Saix was mentioned. "He really needs a new hobby. Besides torturing us and being a kiss-up." He snickered at that, leaving the idea of Saix's hobby possibilities open ended.

"Hm. Twilight, Vampire Diaries. Harry Potter. You'd like that one. There's lots of magic in it." He seemed excited about being able to show that he was a bit smarter than people thought. Only a bit though. He was still quite child-like at heart.

The smile returned to Roxas' face. "Yeah. He does." he agreed, taking a bite out of his sandwich. The strangest image of Saix taking up sewing popped into his head. He shook his head quickly to get rid of the creepy thoughts. That wasn't exactly something he'd want to see... Except it would be amusing.

Zexion nodded. He'd heard those titles before, but had never really been interesetd in reading them. But since Demyx seemed so excited about them, he figured he'd give them a chance. "I'll be sure to take a look at them when I get the chance." he promised.

"Creepy thought? If so, do tell." He rested against the counter again, amused. "Maybe him and Xemmy can take up dancing." The image of them dancing make him snicker. He stretched a bit, after calming down.

"Yaaaay!" Demyx cheered. He was thrilled that they'd have something to talk about besides missions or the weather. He danced in place for a moment, content.

Roxas laughed lightly. "Yeah. That'd be something to see." he said, leaning against the counter. "I was thinking Saix should take up sewing or knitting. That takes up a lot of time and focus." he said, shrugging.

Zexion smirked lightly as he watched him. He almost smiled completely, but stopped himself. It wasn't like him to show much emotion anyway. "You really should be getting to sleep soon." he said, taking a step back to the door. "You don't know how busy you'll be tomorrow."
