This is a role play where a genetically modified werewolf has been created illegally. It's set in modern times, where bioengineering has become a lot more commonplace, yet is still very regulated.

My character:
Name: Sandi Waltz
Age: 25
Occupation: Post-grad student, working for the bioengineering firm Gentechz
Bio: Working on her post-grad degree, Sandi has taken a job with Gentechz as a research assistant. She usually does the errands and chores around the lab, while getting to actually help with various experiments seldomly. Her current project is on a human-wolf hybrid that has been produced by the lab.
Appearance: She has short strawberry blonde hair which she tends to spike, blue-green eyes and is a little on the short side (5'4'').

My Character:
Name: Angel Corvinous
Age: Unknown
Occupation: the human-wolf hybrid in the lab, used for various research, and other lab things. As for his own life, he doesn't know, the human used for the experiment is an 18 year old man, he looks at least 22 from the tests and stuff done to him not counting what the werewolf in him does.
Appearance: Human: an average human male, six foot, long black hair down to his shoulders, he used to always put it up in a ponytail. Well built, in muscle tone, he sprawed with wooden swords, and rode a bike everyday.
Werewolf: A pitch black furred wolf standing on two feet, long claws, sharp fangs, very dangerous.

The lab was winding down for the night. Well winding down in the sense that the actual researchers were leaving. Sandi was supposed to stay in the lab from 6pm until 2am checking on the machines and lab animals to make sure that there was no issue. She gave a sigh. Her new project, the human-wolf hybrid, was so interesting! And yet, she was hardly allowed near his habitat. She only got to see him at meal times when she gave him his food. Even then, it was given through a slot in the door. She could strain her neck to see in if she wanted, but every time she did, all she saw was not him. Well this being a new assignment to her, it really did make sense. But this was her first time working this shift, and she did have to make rounds to ensure that all the animals were safe and secure. Maybe she could go to werewolf habitat, catch a glimpse of him sleeping. Sandi got up from her desk, and headed over to his cage. Creeping so that she wouldn't make too much noise and wake him.

He had had a busy day and wanted to just sleep, of course he had been in his wolf form all day and he loved the feeling of it, the freedom, the clearness, except the fact that he was in a small habitat for his size. He wanted out, he wished someone would let him free or kill him. 'Why do they keep me here, why the fuck are they doing tests on me' he thought as he setting in a good cozy spot to fall asleep not facing the researcher or asistant looking at him.

((I can do a big paragraph rarely, sorry if i didn't mention that, but I will try my best to type as much as possible.))

Sandi peered through the window, eying his sleeping form. Her breath fogged up the glass, so she wiped it away and held her breath as she continued to gaze in. They had just relocated him to this facility, it was out in the boondocks almost. That was the only reason why she was even on this project, she already worked out here.

"He doesn't look that dangerous." She mused to herself. "I wonder if he likes it in there."

He fell asleep, with the asistant still watching him, not caring, he had along day today and was exausted, despite the werewolf in him, he was still tired, he'd had blood taken from him, more put into him, he didn't feel too good, he hated it here, he hated how they treated him, couldn't they at least let him out under supervision by an asistant or something to watch over the facility, then he'd be able to run and stuff like that. He didn't even care for the outside world anymore, not even knowing where he was.

"Maybe he'll be more active when the moon's out."

Sandi gazed on a moment or two longer before she returned to her console. She had data to analyze anyway. She didn't have time to watch experiments sleep. "Maybe he'll be more active around 10." She paused, "Yeah, I'll finish up my work, and go check on him again then."

With that as motivation, she actually got most of her work done by 10. Not wanting work to be there for her when she got back she decided to finish it up, pushing her rounds to 10:30.

Angel noticed that she had gone, so he had eaten some of his food and walked around still in wolf form, he sharpened his claws on a board in there and got some exericise running around the habitat, doing laps. 'What the fuck do they need me for, Why did they do thi to me?' he thought to himself while still running laps, then he stopped and leaned against the far wall.

Sandi went back to his habitat. She crept up to the observation port again. This time she didn't passively watch, she gave a tap on the glass, hoping to get him to turn to her. Or even better, come over. He was so interesting. She had seen a little of what the geneticists had done to his cellular structure and it was incredible. The science was almost over her head. "Hello?"

He turned to the tapping on the glass and stalked up to the glass. He shifted from his wolf form to his human form, only having torn jean shorts on, his physical fitness was exposed. "Hi" he replied, he didn't mind this one, she wasen't too bad, she hasen't damaged him directly yet.

"Hey!" Sandi perked right up when he addressed her. "I'm Sandi."

She grinned at him through the view port. All the research animals she had worked with before had been non sentient. This was such a different experience for her. She had tried to subtly admire his body as he stalked over to her. The way the fur disappeared leaving behind skin and muscle was fascinating. "They've just told me the codename for your project, what's your actual name?"

"Hi Sandi, you seem different then those monsters called researchers." he wasen't sure of what t make of here. "My actual name is Angel, I'm was an average young adult that no one would actually miss, I had a couple of friends, I did what I had to to get by, just another average joe, other than the fact I took up my free time with working out. He saw her admiring him. "You don't really get to comunicate with the experiments do you?"

"I'm not really supposed to be talking to you." Sandi blushed and smiled shyly at Angel, "But you're the only human experiment we have here. So how'd you get into the program? Did you volunteer for money or something?"

She bit her lip a little, hoping that she wasn't probing too deep.

"No, not even close, they took me from my home when I was sleeping, and they put this crap in me before I woke up, when I did, they couldn't hold me at first, I went into a rage, and murdered a couple of researchers, it was a reaction to the crap that is now in me, I've adapted well, now I can change at will, and I have more control over the werewolf part of me." he answered. "Why aren't you supposed to talk to me, I'm still human, I need interaction, other than taking blodd and lab tests."

As Angel recanted his story Sandi's eyes widened. She had been told that everything here was on the up and up. That he had been okay with this. She was stunned. Gentechz had lied to her. Worse, they kidnapped and experimented on a human. "I had no idea." She paused. "They told me that you were okay with all this."

She bit her lip. This wasn't right. None of it. She had to help him. "They probably didn't want me talking to you because of how they got you to 'volunteer'."

"Yeah, and for the few seconds I was conscious enough to hear them tell me that they'd kill my brothers if I struggled." he said. "That's how they convinced me to 'volunteer'." he added. He liked having someone know his side of the story. "That is why they don't want you to know of the horrors that happen in this line of work."

Her eyes teared up, until she blinked them back. This was terrible. She set her jaw. "I'll see what I can do." With that, Sandi turned, "We'll see how long they can keep you in there."

She stalked back to her desk, trying to figure out how to either confront her employers, the researchers, or just break the poor werewolf out of this hell hole.

He saw that he could trust her, he talks to her through thought. 'Don't do anything stupid for me, I've lost my life, you still have one, and besides i'm quote un quote dangerous, but I'm really not if they'd just treat me better, but, please, don't lose your life over me.' He then tries his newly found ability, he could see through others eyes and he tries to see through hers, and he can see her thoughts like this too.

Sandi stopped, turning to look back towards the werewolf habitat. Her head felt funny as words filtered in, forming in her brain. "I'm not gonna do anything stupid." She whispered back to the words in her head.

Angel? She thought, trying to project her thoughts, and giving herself a headache. They didn't tell me you were telepathic. What else can you do?

As if he could hear that he responded. "If you trust me enough let me out so that I can show, then I'll go back into my habitat afterward." He wanted her to see what he could do that wasen't dangerous.

There was a pause. Let you out? Sandi's mind was racing, I don't know the code on your habitat. She started to panic a little. They won't tell me. After a moment of panic, she took a few deep breaths, trying to calm herself. I guess I'l just have to find a way to get it. By this point Sandi's head was throbbing, and she set off to find some pain killers and formulate a plan.

'no need to be alarmed, i'm still part human, i've got feelings that a human does.' he says, then leaves her be and sitting his back on the side of his habitat.

Taking the pain pills, Sandi sat at her desk. She typed anxiously, browsing through the internet, trying to clear her mind about what she had found out from Angel. This changed everything. She wanted to be a geneticist to help people, not to imprison them and conduct experiments. This was not what she had signed up for, and not what the senior researchers around here were preaching. She had to help him. Chewing on her lip subconsciously, she clicked on a link about moon phases and werewolf myths and legends. She knew that since he was a genetically engineered werewolf, and not of lore that this site was probably more or less useless but maybe if she brushed up on this information she could better understand how to help the poor man, and she did want to help him.

He was still watching through her eyes and saw what she was looking at on the internet and what her intentions were, he liked the way she was thinking, he understood that she did not like this one bit, just about as much as he did. He eventually got very needed sleep just after pulling out of her head.

As Sandi was surfing the lore sites, her cellphone buzzed. She glanced down, her alarm was going off, telling her that her shift was ending in a half an hour. She was exhausted, and she had to go around and feed the animals again. She got up, closed out and cleared her internet browser. With a sigh she headed out, grabbing food to finish off her shift.

Once she was done, she waited for the morning crew to get there. She needed to get some sleep before she had to go to class.
