Rosie glanced at Percival, but stuck her arms out obediently. She nibbled on her lip, holding as still she could.

Percival finished his breakfast while she was being measured. He gave his squire his plate, then cleaned up a few other things on the table. He spoke lightly to the young man about the tournament that afternoon.

It didn't take Arell's girls long to take all of Rosie's measurements. The whole time they were busy with that. Arell laid thick comments on Rosie about how cute and adorable she was, and how very good she was being about holding still. Then the girls had written down the measurements they had taken and stepped back behind Arell. "There now..That was fun wasn't it? And you were such a good girl..You should tell Lord Percival that he owes you a treat for being so good." She glanced in Percival's direction as she pat Rosie on the head. "Expect some packages in the near future." She shooed her girls and began following them out of Percival's camp.

Percival approached the small child after she was measured. He called to the lady and her girls to have a good day as he hoisted the child up. He wanted to say hello to Tess that morning. He went straight for Roderick's camp, the squirmy pixie on his hip. Upon arrival, the young and old Knight chatted stiffly for a moment.

Roderick stepped into the tent to check on Tess, "Tess? Do you have a moment?"

Tes'shiran wasn't really doing anything important. He was just making sure everything was situated just perfectly. Thinking to himself that Roderick's breakfast guest was a little late. When Roderick entered the tent he turned to him nodding politely. "Yes my lord." He took a small step towards Roderick, a bit stiffly.

Roderick glanced to Naerwen, whom still slept at the foot of his bed. He shook his head lightly and muttered about how lazy she was. He motioned for Tess to follow him, "Lord Percival wants to speak to you. ....If he asks you to care for the grub he's holding, the answer is no, Tes'shiran."

"Yes my lord." He nodded politely again and made his way out of the tent. Trying not to move to quickly. Once out he went directly to Percival, sighing softly and relaxing just a bit in the older man's presence. "Good morning my lord," He nodded to Percival, then to Rosie, "My lady." He smiled kindly to her.

Percival smiled to him, "Good morning, lad. I wanted to see how things faired for you last night. ..I see he's...still alive." He glanced over Tess' shoulder to the tent. He adjusted Rosie on his hip and shifted his weight from foot to foot.

"Tess! I can't find my bracers!" came from inside the tent.

"Try actually looking for them!"

Tess shifted on his feet slightly, looking down at the ground for a moment. "I thought over some of what you said...." He scratched the back of his head, looking a little ashamed of himself. "I said some very terrible things to you and I'm truely sorry for how I acted." Tes'shiran had looked to Percival's face as he apologized. He wanted the older gentleman to know he was sincere. When Roderick yelled out the tent, Tess turned slightly and called loud enough for him to hear. "I have laid them out for you, My Lord, they are on your bed." When he turned back to Percival he was rolling his eyes.

Percival shook his head lightly, "Please tell me that he does not insist you dress him." He looked down to Tess and nodded lightly. He placed a hand on his shoulder, "I understand how you felt, Tess. I am sorry for being as harsh as I was. Murder is never the answer, lad. Never. It only causes more trouble."

Tes'shiran had shook his head just slightly, mumbling lightly. "Everything I do seems to only cause more trouble around here anyway.." He bit his bottom lip and glanced almost warily over his shoulder towards the tent. Poor Naerwen, was Roderick going to leave her chained up in there all day? Tess scowled a bit and frowned deeply. He had thought about waking her and attempting to unchain her..but then..that would just make things worse wouldn't it?

He pat Tess lightly on the shoulder, "I am sure that one day soon, things will look up for you." He yawned lightly, "For now, are you busy at the moment? I wondered if I could borrow you for a while."

Tes'shiran seemed almost eager when Percival asked if he were busy. Shaking his head a bit. "I'm not busy." Perhaps he had spoken it a bit too eagerly. Glancing over his shoulder almost warily to make sure Roderick wasn't going to come out of the tent and tell him to go do something.

Percival smiled lightly, "Excellent. I'm heading to the market before the matches begin. Care to join us?" He motioned to the pixie in his arms, whom was busying herself with a bug she managed to catch as it flew by. Percival shook his head and made her let it go.

Tes'shiran glanced towards Roderick's tent again. Frowning slightly for just a moment, he was thinking of Naerwen again. He sighed softly and shook his head lightly. Calling out loud enough for Roderick to hear him. "My lord, I am going to the market." It was a question, it was a statement and already Tess was taking the first of many footfalls that would carry him to the market.

Roderick stepped out of the tent, holding his hands in the 'what the hell' position, "For what?" He looked at Percival for a few moment, then shook his head, "Fine. Just go. If you see Lady Azara on the way, tell her that I have no choice but to start breakfast without her. This isn't going to stay fresh forever." He turned with a sigh and went back into the tent.

Percival began walking after Roderick went back inside. He glanced to Tess, "You need to escape, Tess. Somehow."

Yazalina and Range walked about the market for a while. They thought it would be nice to shop for some food for Linas parents. Her mom insisted on having fresh duck and eggs for breakfast. Her father would accept nothing less than pork sausage and bacon. She got the items they needed and headed home.

Tess had ducked his head just slightly when Roderick came out of the tent. "Of course m'lord." He muttered a bit at his instruction were he to encounter the Lady Azara. He relaxed when Roderick went back into the tent, but still frowned in that direction for a few moments. Tes'shiran walked beside Percival, shaking his head a bit at Percival's statement. "Maybe...but he has Naerwen chained to the foot of his bed..I'd rather see her free before myself. She is a nice girl and does not deserve to be in such a situation." He had been so tempted to release her himself earlier, but that would have only made things much worse for them both.

Percival snorted lightly, shifting Rosie to his other hip, "Is this damn girl made of gold? You're not the only one who wants to free her. She must be something, eh?" He looked at Tess as they walked into the market. Immediately, the tiny pixie in his arms pointed this way and that, blurting that she wanted whatever she set her eyes on.

"I think she is more precious than gold and sweeter than sugar'd honey.." Tes'shiran had said the words very softly..as if he thought Roderick might hear him. A slight blush coloring his cheeks for a few moments as he cast a quick glance around them. He couldn't help but smile at Rosie as she pointed here and there while asking for everything in sight. He chuckled softly.

Percival nodded slightly, "I see. It seems that you are quite taken with this maiden. But those are dangerous words, Tess. Tread lightly." He nodded lightly to Lady Yazelina as he passed them. Rosie asked quite loudly 'Who's dat lady!?!?!' Percival rolled his eyes lightly, though didn't bother answering because her attention span switched to a basket of apples at a nearby stand, "Just think, Tess, maybe you can marry Naerwen and have squirmy, rude, loud babies like this one." He chuckled lightly.

Tess nodded slightly. "I do try to tread lightly...but sometimes I feel as if I'm walking on eggshells." He also nodded to Lady Yazelina as they passed, a slight blush coloring his cheeks at Percival's statement, he fidgeted lightly. "What if Naerwen doesn't want to marry me, I'm not strong or brave and I can't protect her from Lord Roderick." Tes'shiran frowned some.

He thought for a moment, then shrugged, "Well, even if she does not marry you, would you like to take the rude, loud child with you, anyway?" He chuckled again and kissed Rosie's cheek. He stopped and bought Rosie an apple. He turned to Tess as he set the child on her feet, "Listen, Tess. You don't have to worry about it any longer. Okay?"

"If taught well children outgrown rudeness.." He had shrugged slightly, smiling softly to Rosie as Percival stopped and bought her an apple. He blinked, looking to Percival with a hint of confusion in his eyes. "My lord, I don't understand." That brow furrowed a bit, "Is something going to happen to Roderick?" Tes'shiran's voice had dropped to a low, almost conspiratorial whisper when he asked that.

Percival nodded lightly, petting the top of Rosie's head as she munched the apple, "Yes. ...I am going to break his legs. In three places. ...Each. I am so bloody sick of hearing everyone whiiiiiiiniiiiiiing!!!!!!!" He sighed heavily and gagged, "It makes me sick!"

"'oo I make you shick?" Rosie asked behind a mouthful of apple bits, dribbling some juice down her chin.

"Oh, Lord in Heaven give me strength." He sighed lightly and looked to Tess, "Roderick's father is pushing him to marry. Once he does that, you will be insignificant to him. He will drop you as if you bit him. Then you will be free to do as you choose."

Tess only smiled some shaking his head a bit. Knowing that Percival was unlikely to break Roderick's legs..however..it was a comforting thought. "Everyone whines about something My Lord." He had remarked almost absently with a shake of his head. "I feel sorry for any Lady that marries him.." Tess had made a sour face at that.
