It was a typical Friday afternoon, the sky simmered down to deep shades of orange and pink, the sun was slowly descending to the horizon, and the sounds of people laughing and chatting filled the air as school came to an end. Students of different shapes and sizes scurried to their friends focusing on their plans for the weekend. Scarlet and Nathan strolled leisurely with knapsacks over their shoulders. They walked along a peaceful path not far from the sea. The couple gazed at the sunset as they walked back their homes. As they neared Scarlet's house, the colours of the sky began to fade into cooler night tones. Nathan and Scarlet gave each other a quick peck on the cheek and said their "I love you's". As soon as Nathan saw Scarlet go into her cozy home, he continued to walk the path to his part of the neighbourhood.
