It is pretty wonderful :-) if I could get my phone to connect to the stupid guest wifi here I could even do it almost as quickly as the antiquified computers we use without the webfilter blocking me.

I can't wait :-) I'm hoping to get one for christmas (mainly because I have told EVERYONE that I desperately need one to continue my own writing, and have just asked for whatever little bit of cash they would have spent on a hallmark card or pair of socks or whatever else they were going to get me to be in cash form instead to be put towards it, so between that and the paltry christmas bonus showing up in a few paychecks I might be able to at least get a little net book or something) So it shouldn't be to terribly long :-)

See now, if you lived closer I could totally hook you up on the ring front. My father in law is a jeweler. Owns a little shop here. Makes allot of his own custom stuff, so if I design and sculpt a custom piece for myself or as a gift for a friend he'll cast it for me, clean it up, and set the stones for me and only charge me the cost of the materials/stones

Well, it helps that she's not a fan of diamonds. I found a jeweler in Indiana that does casts of rings with the "<3" symbol on them. They're horribly adorable, good workmanship, unique, and less than $100.

What she REALLY wants is an opal, but we both know that that's not happening on my budget. xDD
