What kind of accents are we talking about?

Zephi, there are some that are hugely different you'd be able to spot them. Same as I can spot a few american accents

So I'm talking to my best friend online now. Telling her how it's completely her fault and that she cursed me with the whole slip up thing earlier. She just thinks that it's funny. It's not. It's really not. She's over here rolling on the floor laughing about it and I'm about to have my heart ripped out by some guy that I LIKE, not love, LIKE. Because I'm sure there is something wrong with him and I'm gonna end up getting played, but I've bet a lot on this whole thing so far... so why not keep going *sigh*

Yeah well.... some american accents tick me off as well but you might think that they are smexy or something.

zephi, no american accent is all that attractive to me.

I don't raelly care for southern accents in general. Ok there are a FEW, very small number of people who can pull it off without coming off as a complete idiot, but... in general.. I dislike them.

zephi, my ffriend kika is one of those few, it really suits here and just makes her sound lovely and friendly, not stupid.

I doubt that. I don't know her but... I just hate southern accents in general. And country music. They all have that accent and I dn't like em. And that twang drives me nuts.... there's only a few country songs that I will willingly listen to... but it got quiet in here awful fast as well.

Well I guess that depends on where you live Terre.... I lived in NC for the longest time and some of those people were SOOOOOOO darn country. SO country. And now I'm in TN.... similarly countrified peoples. I like the country. I just... I dunno.... whatever whatever! You have your opinions I have mine! I don't care for southern accents that much... but I won't hold it against you.. but Easty, I WILL hold you against a wall! *presses you against the walla nd gropes you*

I have an American southern accent. But I think I have a mixture actually...it's probably more of a regional accent in Virginia/West Virginia...provided you boot out all the people who moved here from the north...or out west. XD Although we get people around here that move here from other countries too.

Edit: I've actually been asked if I was from Tennessee before. XD
But I agree...not all southern accents are great. I like some...not all...but that pretty much goes for any accent.
Then I hate those really thick accents (whether they speak english as their first language or not) because I have a really hard time figuring out what they are saying. :/

my friend kika is form south carolina.

I'm from the south west of england in farmer land. However i'm coastal so I don;t really have a farmer accent.

Actually...I've never been out of the country. The farthest west I've gone is East Tennessee, the farthest north is Pennsylvania, and the farthest south I've been is Georgia. XD
