i just got google chrome, and i'm loving it. firefox was just way too slow, and i don't know about safari. IE makes me want to pull my hair out.
So, preferred browser?

Mine is actually internet explorer. I've tried firefox, but I didn't prefer it. At school, I'm forced to use safari, and its just too slow for my taste. But I don't really have any other choice.

I've never used google chrome o.o. But I use Firefox, and I detest IE, it's a HUGE pain in the ass D:<. Also I've used Safari before (because one of my friend's has it), and it's okay I suppose. But I'll just stick with firefox since that's what I'm used to o3o

I use firefox, but lately the plugin container has been crashing like crazy, it's just ridiculous.
And slowly starting to make me consider another browser...

Personally, I prefer Firefox. ^^ It runs nicely on my computer. Chrome is nice. Very simple. But I'm more used to Firefox now that I don't think that I could really ever switch. >.> I mean, Chrome looks like a really nice browser, but I like the added features of Firefox. IE, however, is terrible. I hate it. It's kind of funny, in school, my teachers would tell me to use IE, but in truth, IE has a lot of security holes (or so my dad tells me). I don't like IE at all. >.> It's just plain annoying. I don't know Safari. I don't even know what it looks like... But I like my browser, so I'm probably going to stick with Firefox until the browser is closed down.

I use firefox on my laptop I love it. as for IE I have its on my laptop. but when ever I use it it all way freeze's up on me no matter what. so I switch to firefox because of that problem. I never used Chrome before so I don't know nothing about it. but I do use Safari on my Ipod Touch cause it is all ready on there. so far I had no problems with it unless I touch a link by mistake with my fingers on the screen. laugh's at self cause it happens quite often to myself all most each day.

I should probably switch to Chrome since Firefox recently decided to stop playing nice with PDFs, but I really like how I've got it customized.

i like opera. it has nice buttons :P
firefox is cool too. but i guess its font is different or something. the pages don't look as good as they do in IE. but firefox has better themes.
but i decided to have only one browser to clear space on the hard disk. and since i have windows i'm just going with IE. i'm more familiar with its keyboard shortcuts and i hate using the mouse xD
but honestly, i don't really care so much.

Chrome for facebook games (they seem to run and load a lot faster and crash less often in Chrome).
FireFox for everything else.
I alway have both browsers open.
Got Mene, Gaia, Yahoo, eCritters and BattleKnight open in Fire Fox at moment and I'm on fb in Chrome playing CitiVille :)
I hated Chrome at first, but the latest versions of it have been major improvements.

Firefox. I very passionately loathe Internet Explorer. But at least it works on this computer to some extent on this computer. My old desktop you couldn't run it because it was so old and just by bringing it up, it crashed. :/ But Internet Explorer is so slow.
I do like Google Chrome though...it is the secondary browser I use. But I don't really understand it at all so I stick with Firefox. :D
Safari is okay, but I haven't tried the past few versions of it and I liked it because it was fast then.
I haven't tried Opera in a really long time either, but that browser was okay as well.
The worst is definitely Internet Explorer in my opinion. Also, and the only reason I know this is because my dad fixes people's computers as a side thing, Internet Explorer lets the most stuff in that is harmful to your computer.

Firefox. Internet Explorer stopped working on my computer long ago, and I love how you can customize it with banners and whatnot. Never even hard of Google Chrome, but Firefox works well for me. Any spazzes/weirdness comes from my ancient computer XD And I hate Safari because it's related to Macs in my mind, and Macs are the root of all evil...

I'm loving Flock right now, it's based off Google Chrome, and doesn't have the cluttery feel of Firefox and Internet Explorer, which i'm extremely glad for... :)

While google Chrome is good, I wasn't a huge fan of their layout. My preference is Firefox (yes, I know it's slower than Chrome). My mom is a huge fan of IE (poor woman) and IE is what my school uses by default - again, poor things - so i'm used to both of those. I haven't tried Safari yet, and don't really plan to. Since Chrome just came out with a new beta version I might be tempted to try it again, but it'll be a few weeks before i do.
.....My vote goes to Firefox (in case you missed that in the above explaination).......

Chrome is the fastest, IMO. I absolutely love it and wouldn't switch for anything.
And the competition is meh. Most of them entirely suck or are just too slow for me.
I'd say Safari is 2nd best.

I really love Firefox, and would have sworn by it until the last update I had. I can't even use it any more. It crashes literally by the hour and I just get pissed every time I see that "Oops..." restore session page. I've been using Chrome since then, and I'm quite fond of it, but I miss the cool skins and add-ons like rikai-chan for firefox. Chrome is much more manageable, I think, though. I don't even like to remember that IE exists out there somewhere...

I've been using chrome for a while now, and I have to say that it's my favourite. I love the simplicity of it, and the fact you don't need all those toolbars because the URL thing is also a Google search thing.

I've used Internet Explorer my entire life...up until I turned 14.
I've learned that things are going towards Firefox and that irritates me. Like certain video players can't be played on Internet Explorer but CAN be used on Firefox... tis annoying. I prefer Internet Explorer, gives me less problems.
However I have been considering Chrome.

That's interesting because I hate IE with a passion. It's lazy and caches stuff and it's hell when you want to copy/paste code because the highlight always jumps over onto the next bit where you don't want it to go.
Like I say to everyone who talks about Chrome...it's fine for a piece of big shiny spyware. Because that's all it is, Google uses Chrome to track every single thing you do online.

Thats interesting jelly, I'll have to look into that more. I've never heard about this.
----------
After a little digging I, of course, found the issues about the tracking google did. I was feeling iffy about trusting some random program to remove it for me so I chose to follow the manual guide and attempt to fix it myself. It seems however, Google Chrome has changed their user_id tracking system and thus the old method's variable doesn't even exist anymore.

It looks like most of the tracking related features are now optional rather then mandatory.
