Well, I just joined today a few minutes ago, so I have no idea what to do now on this site. I tried Gaia, but it was full of too many newbies, including me. But I was one of the more polite newbies, ones who didn't beg for items or gold. I like to earn my own gold.

Last year's event was in a different format. They're revamping our events, so right now it's a temporary format for the event.

It's definitely not as busy this year Easty. I think without the lure of a load of items, people just don't bother cause they're too materialistic. :P

I wish they'd been able to keep the events how they were, mene events were so original.
They could entice people in with double gold or something? that would be quite handy!
this event is seriously like a ghost town, i'm struggling to get 100g a day when i'd usually make loads more during an event. I'd also make loads of friends, right now i'm only seeing the same old faces who are devoted menewshans. It really sucks.

I'm not materialistic, but I would like to get 2 sets of the npc items and the event rares. And definitely some items from the shop, they are soooooo cute!

Yeah, but it seemed like people would only flood in to load up on event items and then wander out again. So while it was busy and crazy, it wasn't like most of the people that came for the events actually stuck around and there was a flood of event items.

This isn't the final version of events though, this was just the intermediate one until they finalize the new format. It will be interesting to see how that works and if it will kick up activity again.

I hope it's good, like I don't mind how it is now, but paying for the event rares really sucks - you just can't afford it all most of the time. So as long as they come up with a way in which the event rares could be come easier to get ahold of i'd be happy.
Yeah, I know, but the craziness was counter-productive for gold earning and friend making though.
I think what I miss most is how the site used to look when there was an event on. It looked amazing so fun!

Chrissie; ooh sorry i didn't see your post!!!! yeah, here people are a lot more politer and nicer and you should get a donation or two to help you on your way to getting clothes or what ever item you wanna get. I myself would donate to you right now if there wasn't an event on. If you're still I round when the event is over I will okay. :'D

Eastriel- My Christmas was ok. I got The Nutcracker with Mikhail Baryshnikov and Gelsey Kirkland from my mom. From my dad I got the Narnia books. And that was pretty much it. We didn't got see family this year.

Aww chrissie. Cool gifts though! I love narnia, I really should re-read the books sometime. xD

I don't mind paying for the EIs. Either way you were technically paying for the items, only in event currency while you earned gold. Well, I guess you were technically earning double or triple in that case. The custom forums looked nice, but I guess you can't do that any more if you're going code-less.

Chrissie: how old are you? Usually they like you to start young, but if you work hard and have natural skill I don't see why you couldn't.

I am 17 years old. And my teacher says I have talent, so maybe I will become a professional. If not, I can always do tennis.
