Scarlet walked down the hall, passing many people dancing and singing quietly to themsleves as they all walked to their classes. Scarlet was a new student in this christian school, but as she looked around herself, it didn't look like a christian school. People were laughing at each other as they slid down the hallways on there knees. Some guys ran past Scarlet, causing her to drop the books she was holding.
"Hey!"She cried surprised as they quickly ran away from her. Scarlet sighed and bent down to pick up her books when a pale hand reached out and picked up the book she was reading. As Scarlet looked up, she found a pale brunette was holding her book, reading the title like she was interested. Then, the brunette looked up from the book and smiled at Scarlet with pure white teeth,
"This is a good book."She said in a strong but gentle voice. Scarlet got up from the ground,
"You've read it before?"Scarlet asked, trying to make small talk. The brunette nodded,
"Yeah, I like the vampires in it. I also love the way Rachel Caine makes you feel like you're one of the characters in the book."she said and gave the book back to Scarlet. Scarlet looked at the book she held, reading the cover: Morgan Vill Vampires When Scarlet looked back up, the pale brunette was gone.
"More like vanished,"Scarlet muttered to herself as she walked over to her locker and stuffed her bag into the locker. Then she slammed the door shut with a bang. Here we goScarlet thought to herself as she neared her homeroom. A new starting. well, hopefully.

When Scarlet got into the room, she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
