I've only ever made one outfit with my pudao too...don't have a lot of purple items to go with it and I'm bad at thinking up another color combination for it. :P

@ Faded - I would imagine! I would be terrible with a mouse. It'd probably end in a lot of strong words and some hitting of the computer. xP;; I think its amazing how people can make some really wonderful pieces of art with just a mouse.

I used to really love the pudao; it's such an intricate weapon and I was really binging on all the staffs that Menewsha had. Now I can admire it, but I think that if I had it, I would hardly ever use it. I love your outfit though, Roachi. I'm so loving the mask.

@ Faded - Lol. I wouldn't be able to do it. I dont think i'd have the patience for that. I hardly have the patience for my tablet. xP;; I'm definently much more of a pencil and paper gal. :yes:

@ crane - Mhmm. Its very beautiful. I love how it looks and its details. I think its all those details and where it stands, that makes it so hard to use sometimes. It'd be neat if it had another pose where you could hold it standing up in your hand. That would be quite useable.

I'd love to see the lotus in more colours, too. Of course that's a silly request but I like your idea of having it in your hand. Maybe even some floating lotuses or something behind the head like all the lovely religious art. Then we could all be little Buddha's, ahaha!

I really love the selection of corsets and bodices, too.

I haven't ever actually used a tablet before, so I have no idea what it's like to use one. :XD I just don't want to face with having to get rid of the background and all the other troublesome stuff when uploading a pencil and paper drawing. :gonk:

Me too! Which is why I rarely ever ink nowadays...I'm paranoid that I'll mess up, since it almost always happens and then I'd have to resort to correction ink and they leave nasty blots on the paper...:gonk:

That's a good idea, except I don't know how to shade (or I could, but it would take literally FOREVER with a mouse) so if I just chose a color they sometimes turn out rather awkward. :XD

@ crane - lol Those aren't half bad ideas. I imagine the lotus could possibly be in other colors, but not many. What other colors are they?

@ faded - Mhmm. Such a troublesome thing. I know there is a way to do it where it turns out nicely, but i'm not entirely sure how. I'll have to look it up on deviantART, because i'm pretty sure I saw a tutorial on there for it once.

Inking is evil, but its what works best for making it looks cleaner. :/ Buggers. I really much prefer pencil. Its so forgiving. lol

Its what I have come to do, because it can be rather difficult to search out the right color on your own. Its what I often do in order to get the right colors for my hair on here. :yes:

Haha yeah! That's why I like using pencils XD I just press them down harder for the final version, so even if I do mess up, I'd still be able to erase most of it XD

Haha. Sometimes that can be more fun and make it more interesting. I'm just very much a perfectionist, and follow my own too strict little set of rules, so to speak.

I usually use really thin markers because ballpoint pens have a hard time getting down onto the paper because of all the penciling I do. ^^

I can be like that too. Though sometimes I let my imagination do the work. Like my current signature art...the crown and horns are too yellowy than the actual items, but I think they look pretty good too. XD

This is a really good pen, just not so much for trying to do fine details. Its one of those ones that are kind of like a very fine point permanent marker. Do you know what I mean? Either way, it doesn't do just straight smooth lines, unfortunately. :/ *cringes* Finished, but trying not to look at it. ><;;

Yeah, I like how they look in your siggy art, too. Gold is also a hard color to work with when coloring, I think. I've noticed that often people make it more yellowish, and I think its a pretty good idea. lol I've tried to do it as gold for some stuff i've done, and its more of a bother.

I think gold is harder to do because it's shiny, and not just a plain color like clothes are ^^; So I guess they need a tinge of orange and some yellow to balance it out and all...unfortunately, I suck at shiny things. >.>

Yup. You have to get like two shades in there, and a light color or white or whatever. Either way, its more complicated for sure. Haha. Shiny can be a pain to do.

Aw, that's not too bad, my lines are fat, and it was in pencil. :sweat:

Yeah. The only shiny I do are the eyes. Just a small dot of white would do. :XD

Meh. I really dont like it inked, but at least I scanned it when it was in pencil, too. :]

I'm actually really happy with how it turned out. ^^ And it actually doesn't look too bad with the pen when its colored. Looks super cute colored, though. :D I'll probably get around to coloring it myself sometime, too.
