The poor things! And I kind of feel bad for them too because of all the sinus issues they go through. :( They probably need lots of care for that...

Yeah. I notice that they're quite popular overseas, but not so much in America. I'm not sure why that is.

Really? Huh, that's pretty interesting. I guess different nations have different fads. Like America and chihuahuas and pomeranians. :XD I wonder if those are popular elsewhere, too.

Pomeranians are very popular in England! I believe it was Queen Victoria who had a number of them and actually bred them to be the size they are today. :) They used to be bigger.

Wait! I remember seeing a show about that! They're such cute little animals, I just wish they weren't so yappy. They think they're so big and tough, like they don't even realize how itty-bitty they are. I remember seeing one scare off a Great Dane! XDDD

For generally disliking dogs, I know a fair deal about them, ahaha! I used to train dogs a lot. Handler for showmanship and such.

Wow, really? :D How did you train them? What did you teach them? Showmanship? Like, dog shows? AGH. So many questions! :gonk:

I trained some for agility, a little bit of basic obedience (though I hate doing that training), and some dog show training. :) It was pretty fun, I'm just not a dog type, so I don't like owning them or being around them for too long, haha. I got paid nicely and when I'm being paid, I become even more patient than usual! But I'm pretty laid back anyways.

That's so wicked! :D I've always been fascinated by animal psychology and it's amazing what dogs can learn and do. But you have to be sooooo patient with them.
Hmm, have you ever tried training cats? :XD If that's even possible?

Yes! My oldest cat was pretty well trained actually. She came when called, sat, laid down, rolled over, played fetch, and learned how to let herself outside and shut the door when she finished. In my opinion, cats are much smarter than dogs, haha.

That's so cool! :XD What really intrigues me is cats who are actually toilet trained. I've read up on how they can be trained, but it just seems too good to be true. Well, I know what I'll be doing when I get a cat! Are they easier to train than dogs?

No, they're more difficult to train than dogs for sure. They're pretty stubborn and like to do what they want, haha. I lucked out when I got a cat who loved food more than anything else. Turkey and cheese were her favourite things in the world. She ate with her paws, which is how I taught her how to open the door. Turkey on the door handle. :XD

Turkey and cheese? I never knew cats liked cheese. :XD Wow, that sounds pretty amazing! Did she know how to close the door, too?
