I just saw this movie today and could totally fall for him as the goblin king. Who else has seen it and liked it?

One of the best movies ever. And certainly David Bowie's Hottest look.

Lol yes truly was hot in it. I can't believe I didn't watch it before, but, I guess the way it looks would've turned me away. What was your favorite part?

Yes he is. I liked her dancing with him, maybe not her outfit too much with puffy sleeves and big dress, but, I did like the dancing and the masks even though they were the only two without masks. I wish we still had masqerade balls like that I would so be there in an instant.

What we found interesting watching the movie was the whole fushigi balls Bowie had HA HA!
Everytime we see that commercial for Fushigi now, we yell "OMG, IT'S DAVID BOWIE'S BALLS!" XDD

I saw this as a kid and was taken away by all the magicalness and awesome puppets and all I could think was "one day I will run away to a place just like that!" I learned ballroom dancing, just in case. I tried to learn contact juggling too but that didn't work out so good.

Rewatching it, all I can see is bowie bulge. Does he keep his crystal balls in his pants or is he just happy to see me?

I watched this movie years ago, and it actually scared me quite badly O_O Actually, most of my real life friends have said that this movie scared them...
I'm not sure why, maybe I just don't like puppets xD I just found it... Disturbing.
At my school we also now have this ongoing 'David Bowie's Pants' joke e__e Quite possibly the scariest part of the whole movie.

That movie is definatly one of my fondest childhood memories. Though I havent seen it in years, Im sure I can find it on DVD somewhere. And it would probably be cheap too. xD

This was a wonderful movie, not to mention that Bowie looked pretty damn good. I saw it for the first time about two years ago or so, and it's definitely become one of my favorites.

I keep trying to convince my friends to watch it and they all say no but when I do finally manage to get them to watch it they love it ^.^
I've watched it so many times that I can almost recite evry line and I know all the songs xD

This was one of my brother's favorite movies (he's three now). I liked it as a kid too and was totally in love with Jareth, but watching it 50 times a week for a few months has really opened by eyes to what a horrible actress Sarah was.

I watched the movie because I really like David Bowie. I thought his acting in it was well done, and over all the movie was pretty cute, but at times the puppets really annoyed me. Well, most of them didn't, the ones with names and lines and stuff were just fine, but a lot of the ones in Jareth's... lair? really bothered me. They were just too silly and corny, and it just clashed with the rest of the movie for me. Enough to put me off the movie a bit, honestly. I understand that it's a children's/family movie, but the rest of the movie was just fine, I don't quite see why they felt the need to throw in that bit for... what, 3 year olds? :lol:

I enjoyed the rest of the movie, though. Dark fantasies are fun.

I love this movie. It's the reason I started trying to learn contact juggling. My friends think it's ridiculously creepy, but it's definitely one of my favorites. I kinda wish I could be a Fiery. >.>

I loved the film as a child and recently got it on DVD. It was only £3.99 or so, so it's nice and cheap if you plan on picking it up. :)

I don't understand why so many people think he's so hot, that hair is aweful and his face leaves much to be desired

plus it's weird seeing his bulging crotch in those pants >.<

He did do a good job though, and I quite liked the movie despite how creepy it was at some points
