Axel awoke the next morning, Saix still on top of him. Axel sat up and dumped Saix onto the floor he complained a bit and looked confused before going back to sleep on the floor. Axel stood and began to clean up the mess around his house, opening windows and doors, spraying febreeze, and throwing away all the garbage. After a while Axel took a break and sat with his feet in the pool, thinking about Roxas. He opened his cell phone and dialed Roxas's number before shutting the cell phone. He repeated this pattern four more times before Saix sighed next to him. "Why don't you just call him? Whatever you did I'm sure he'll forgive you." Saix said, sitting down next to Axel and putting his feet into the pool. Axel sighed and frowned before casually wrapping an arm around Saix and shoving him into the pool. Axel stood and turned his face away. "He won't forgive me." He said as he walked back into the house and went downstairs to listen to Roxas's recording.

Roxas sat at the table and looked at the phone. He had a text from Axel. He didn't even bother reading it. He just clicked delete. A large stack of chocolate chip pancakes were placed in front of him. He smiled up at his brother. "Thanks!" he said. "No problem. You two looked like you needed something to cheer you up." Cloud said, patting both of them on the head before going into the other room. He looked to Sora, who was already digging in. He smiled a bit before starting on his own. His phone went over for a second a few times. Each time, he looked at it. But seeing that it was Axel, he just set it back down. By the time he was done eating, he was getting annoyed. He went up to his room and locked the door before calling Axel back, wanting an answer to why he kept calling.

Axel had been content with just typing out Roxas's number but not calling until Saix got out of the pool wrestled him to the ground for the phone, threatening to throw it into the pool so Axel backed off. Saix had been holding the phone out over the pool when it rang and Saix answered. "Hey lover boy! Listen, whatever happened with you and Axel.. you guys should make up. Axel isn't any fun. Hes been moping around and he looks like his puppy just died." Axel was furious by Saix's words. He didn't even want Saix talking to Roxas let allow making it sound like Axel was being a baby, even though he kind of was. Axel turned and stomped off, slamming the door behind him. "Uh oh.. I think I made him mad.." He said to Roxas quietly before getting serious. "He won't tell me anything.. soo.. what really happened?" Saix asked sitting down.

Roxas was surprised that it wasn't Axel to answer the phone, but Sai'x. He smirked a bit at what the blue-haired man said about Axel. The redhead deserved to be in a bad mood. He wasn't going to be forgiving him anytime soon. He could hear a door slam through the phone. Looks like someone was mad. Not that he cared. "It's none of your business!" he snapped, his voice both angery and hurt.

Saix sighed a bit. "Roxas, whatever happened.. Axel is a good guy. And he really likes you." He paused for a moment and walked over to the door. "If I give him the phone will you talk to him.. nicely?" He asked, adding 'nicely' at the end, not wanting to hear them fight. He knew whatever happened between them Axel was sorry and wanted to talk to Roxas.

Roxas really doubted that. From what he saw, Axel wasn't a nice guy. Nor did he like him. "I will if he does." he muttered. If the redhead was rude to him, he would be rude right back. But then again, he might end up being rude anyway. He was still extremely mad at him for what he did.

Saix waited a moment before opening the door and seeing Axel sitting on the couch, playing video games. He then handed him the phone and mouthed "Be nice.", before heading back outside to give him privacy.
Axel was silent a second before everything came gushing out. "I really didn't kiss him Roxas. Riku kissed me and I pushed him away but I guess one of you still saw and I'm really sorry but it wasn't what it looked like and I feel horrible not only about you but for Sora too." He said before he was silent again, waiting for Roxas's response.

Roxas waited patiently for Axel to explain himself. And what the redhead said was not something he was expecting. He still wasn't sure if he should believe him, seeing how much Sora was crying about it the other day. "That broke Sora's heart. I don't think I can forgive you for that. Or Riku for that matter." he told him.

Axel sighed a bit. "I know.. I just.. I hope Sora is okay. He deserves better than Riku anyways." He said quietly. "Can I see you again?" He asked after a moment of silence. Half of Axel was jumping with joy that Roxas was talking to him and half of him wanted to shrivel up into a ball for how bad he felt. He was sure Sora probably hated his guts right now.

Better? No.. Riku was all that Sora ever wanted. Roxas knew that his brother would forgive him. He wasn't one to hold a grudge. "...I don't know if that's such a good idea, Axel." he told him. He wasn't sure if he even wanted to see him again. Not yet anyway.

Axel's heart sank a bit. "Alright. I understand." He said. He was having a hard time holding himself back and not running to Roxas's house. He wanted to see him, so badly, but he knew if he it did it would only cause problems. After a little bit of silence Axel spoke again. "Will you ever forgive me?" He asked, right now he wanted more than anything for Roxas to forgive him so he could kiss him again, even if it was just one last time.

Roxas was silent for a while, thinking about that. He really did want to forgive him. But he still wasn't sure if he could trust him. Not just yet anyway. "Maybe. After a while, I think I'll be able to trust you again." he told him.

Axel wasn't sure what to say. He was silent for a while. "Alright." He said quietly before continuing to be silent. "I guess I'll just talk to you later.." He said as he hung up the phone and sat back down on the couch. When he Saix came back in he was going to punch him, and then hug him, and then punch him again. His emotions were too up and down for him right now. And he hated it. And he wondered if he was ever even going to see Roxas again or if Roxas would ever come over again, or if he'd ever be able to kiss Roxas again. He hated the thought of never kissing him again.

Roxas hung up after Axel did and sighed slightly. As he slid his phone back into his pocket, all he wanted to do was go see Axel. But he wasn't going to forgive him so easily. He left the room to find Sora playing a game in his own room. He went over to sit by him on the bed and picked up the other controller. Sora switched it so that they could both play.

Axel laid on his couch watching Saix play video games for a while and ended up falling asleep, when he awoke a few hours later, Saix was passed out on the floor. Axel reached into his poke, disappointed that he hadn't received any texts from Roxas so he decided to text him. "Come over? Please?" He wrote and then pressed send, waiting for him to reply was like sitting on pins and needles.

Roxas played the game with Sora for a few hours, only stopping to get something to eat. By the time his phone went off, he was back in his room, laying on his bed. He pulled his phone out and looked at the message. He thought about it. He really did want to come over. '..Sure..' he sent back.

Once Axel got the text back his heart sped a bit and he waited on the couch. For a while he thought about waking Saix but he knew it would be a bad idea so he left him sleeping. Just as the sun was beginning to set the doorbell rang and Axel nearly flew off the couch, his heart in his throat. Slowly, he went to the door, trying to calm himself. As he finally opened the door and saw Roxas standing there his stomach flipped and Axel immediately wrapped his arms around him. "I'm so sorry." He said quietly.

Roxas told Sora that he was leaving, but not where he was going. He headed out and went to Axel's house. It took some time, but when he got there, he rang the doorbell. When Axel hugged him, he froze for just a second before wrapping his arms around the redhead's waist.

Axel smiled when he felt Roxas hug him back. He stood there, just letting his arm fall around Roxas's shoulders, not wanting to move but as a gust of chilly air came by he moved inside, Axel shut the door behind Roxas and wrapped his arms around Roxas again, still time loosely. Axel stared at Roxas for a moment before moving his lips down to meet Roxas's. After a moment he pulled away and leaned his forehead against Roxas's, his eyes remained shut. "Please don't leave me." He said quietly, happy to have Roxas in his arms again.

Roxas gladly went inside with him. It was getting cold standing out there. He froze for a brief second when Axel kissed him, not really expecting it. But it did make him blush lightly. When the redhead spoke, he moved his head forward until their lips were together again. There was nothing he wanted more at that moment.

Axel kissed back passionately, and moved forward until Roxas was against the wall. He then wrapped Roxas's legs around his waist and carried him up the stairs so they could be alone, he didn't want Saix to wake up and make a scene over this. As they entered Axel's room he locked the door behind them and set Roxas down on the bed, he knew before they made up and got carried away in the moment they should talk. "Does this mean you forgive me?" He asked once he pulled away a bit.

Roxas' arms went up and around Axel's neck as he kissed him back. When he was lifted, his face turned red, but he didn't really mind. He was a bit disappointed when he was set down on the bed, though he wasn't really sure how they got there so fast. He thought about it, the best he could seeing as how his brain turned to mush when Axel kissed him. "Y-Yeah.. I think it does." he said, stuttering a bit.

Axel smiled and kissed him again slightly before pulling away. "Why didn't you believe me?" He paused for a moment. "I won't lie to you." Which was true, he wouldn't lie to Roxas. Whatever he asked, he'd respond to truthfully, even if he didn't want to. "I promise." He added as he kissed him lightly again.

Roxas had to think about that question. Why didn't he believe him? Why should he? He shouldn't even be here. Yet here he was. "I guess I didn't believe you because Sora was crying and hurting so much. And I'd believe him over anyone. That's just the way things are." he said.

Axel was a little hurt hearing that Roxas would always believe Sora over him but he understood why. "Do you believe me now?" He asked, sitting next to him and wrapping his arms around him. He then tilted Roxas's head up slightly and went to kiss him but let his mouth linger an inch away from Roxas's. "I love you." He said quietly before kissing him gently.
