NAME: Druella Ethel Belan
NICKNAME: Dru - but if you want to get on her nerves you may call her Ell or Ella.
AGE: 16
BIRTHDAY: March 21

PLAY BY: Ciara Nugent
HEIGHT: five foot one
WEIGHT: 105 pounds / 47.6 kg
HAIR: Her hair is long, dark brown - almost black at times, and very bushy and curly, though, you'd never be able to tell unless you shared a room with her. Before she could hold the straightener or curler herself her mother used to style her hair for her. She isn't all too fond of pulling her hair up unless absolutely necessary, and even then she rather just pull it back with a silk hair band.
She has wanted a fringe ever since she was eight but her parents refused. She cut them on the first day of her sixth school year and has had them ever since.
EYES: Her eyes are a dark blue.
FACE: She has a pale, heart shaped face. She has never liked her forehead which is why she cut herself a fringe against her parents wishes.
She also doesn't like how thin her lips are or how her nose it slightly too bulbous at the end. Makeup is, of course, used to 'fix' these imperfections.
BODY: Her body is slender but she does have meat on her bones since she was never one for starving herself, even if she doesn't appear to eat more than is appropriate for a lady. She's not a curvy girl, and she usually prefers it that way, though, at times she can be self-conscious about it.
SPECIAL FEATURES: On the inside of her left arm is a birthmark, paler than the rest of her skin, in the shape of an 'S', or perhaps a snake if you squint.

LIKES: Dru is particularly fond of journaling and writing in general. She would do it more often if she didn't feel like she has to do it mostly in secret.

Reading and learning obscure pieces of knowledge has become a bit of a hobby of hers. It couples well with her journaling since she tends to write her opinion about what she has read that day. If the book she's reading isn't connected to a school assignment she hides the cover by putting a different book cover on it (typically from a romance novel or something to do with beauty products). To look like something a proper lady would read in her down time. She doesn't want to draw attention to herself as something other than the proper lady her mother raised her to be.

She admittedly has a fondness for bug candies, whether it be bug pops or chocolate cockroaches. When boys, or even her 'friends', ask her what her favorite sweet is her reply is usually along the lines of: "Vanilla ice cream, but I don't mind trying new flavors once in a while. Fine chocolates are also lovely." Candy bugs are not fitting of a high-class lady.

DISLIKES: Dru never thought she'd hate a subject in school, until she was confronted with history class. Dates and events of the past hold no interest for her. She's all about the present and doing what she must to achieve the end she wants.

Dru hates being called Ell or Ella with a passion. She feels she does as much as womanly possible to not show how much the nicknames irritates her, but she can't seem to help the glare that enters her eyes when someone calls her the hated nicknames, or how her hand clenches tightly - sometimes to the point of white knuckles and the occasional broken nail.

She greatly dislikes peppermint since she's allergic to it. She develops a rash and slight fever just from being around it too much. If she consumes it she gets nauseous and starts throwing up.

As a lady, Dru has been given a ladies education, including the arts; specifically painting. To her, painting is pointless, which is why she only does it when it's necessary. After all, if you want a painting, hire a artist - it's their job. She sees no reason to do it herself.

She greatly dislikes dogs of any sort, big or small. She not necessarily afraid of them but she doesn't want to be around them, touching them or smelling them. She sees them as nothing but mess makers; a waste of her time.

SECRETS: She is much more opinionated than she lets on, which is part of the reason for her journaling, but she knows what image she must project as a high-class, wealthy lady.

She has a passion for gardening and herbal remedies/medicine but they don't mesh well with her ladies training so she hides her pursuit of the topics. She finds it difficult to learn about gardening without having a chance to practice it.

FEARS: Her greatest fear is, not that she wont find a suitable high-class, wealthy husband, though, it does rank up there. No, it's someone reading her journal. She writes in code most of the time to prevent this.

As said in the above, she fears not obtaining a suitable high-class, wealthy husband. She doesn't want to feel like a failure as a lady, nor does she want to shame her family by being a spinster.

Thunder is a fear she likes to keep secret. As soon as the first sign of storm clouds appear she's making excuses to get back inside and away from windows and other areas of the house that may let in sound of the storm.

Dru is afraid of the idea that she's not as good at keeping what she wants to be secret, secret. This is the fear that drives her to learn more about spying and detective methods. It also helps drive her to be the best lady she can be. She took her etiquette lessons very seriously and keeps up with present styles, sometimes setting her own trends when the current ones bore her or she doesn't feel they suit her.

GOALS: She would love to write a non-fiction book. She's not sure she'll ever achieve such a goal if the topic isn't beauty related - and she doesn't want it to be.

Dru wants to marry out of love, not just society class/wealth. While they are important to her, she can be a bit of a romantic and can't see herself spending the rest of her life popping out children while her husband sleeps around.

STRENGTHS: Manners fitting of a upper class lady, secrecy, her interest in gathering obscure knowledge/spells, and writing.

WEAKNESSES: Her secrets and fears, history, her desire to gather pieces of obscure knowledge, and sappy stories.

OVERALL PERSONALITY: Druella is actually very shy and not much of a people person - she prefers the company of her cat and books if she can get away with it. It's her etiquette lessons and "ladies training" that has turned her into such a socialite, but that's just a mask. As soon as she's confronted with a situation or a topic she wasn't taught to handle she freezes a bit, and even stutters much to her shame. It doesn't happen often, since most of the other girls she has interacted with have received similar training, but she may come across a bit cold to the other girls nonetheless. Because of this she hasn't become very close to anyone.

Other than her shy nature she conforms fairly well to the stuck-up upper class stereotype of conceited spoiled brat - she just shows it in a fairly pleasant lady-like manner. She tries to be concerned with the outside world, but it isn't always easy since she so focused on herself and her interests.

MOTHER: Her mother is Ethel Ella Belan. She does have a fondness for her mother, even though she passed down what Dru considers to be an unfortunate name. They're on good terms, her mother having taught her what she knows about beauty products, but Dru by no means shares secrets with her.

FATHER: Her father is Bernard Even Belan. She's closer to him than she is her mother.

SIBLINGS: Dru had an older brother. He died in a gang fight after getting involved with the wrong people.

PETS: Adelle is a german rex cat, and has a coat of orange and white swirls. Dru picked Adelle out herself when she was ten and Adelle a kitten only a few months old.

HISTORY: Growing up, Druella was a loner. Not that she was alone, her parents always seemed to have company, some of which brought their children with them. She also had personal tutors and met children and adults alike while in the small town she grew up in. However, she never really developed an interest in getting to know the people around her. Except for the librarian in the town. He didn't mind her questions; though she never took a personal interest in the elderly man he was the closest thing she had to a friend while growing up.
