Ace knew there were a lot of people here who weren't human, but he didn't ask what she was since he thought it'd be rude. "Well, I think your a lovely woman that anyone would be insane to throw out. Hopefully i'll see you tommorow, but in the mean time I must retire to my room. I haven't slept well lately so maybe a night of rest will be good for me." He said, giving a small smile. He stood up, giving a bow. "Goodnight Lady Julia." He said softly, turning and making his way out of the bar area and up the steps. He rolled his eyes when he saw the man his sister had been flirting with, flirting with twin girls while outside his room. He unlocked the door to his and Scarlett's room and heard her singing in the bathroom.
Scarlett got out of her bath and slipped on her night dress that stopped midway between her hips and knees and was silk and black. She put her hair up in a bun and walked out of the bathroom after putting on her underclothes on as well. She noticed Ace's look and sat on the end of her bed. "Whats wrong?" She asked, smiling a little as she fixed her hair up in the bun.
"Scar.. I don't want you hanging around that man. He's nothing but a player. He's out in the hallway right now flirting with two twins." He said, no emotion in his voice as he blurted this to his sister.
Scarlett rolled her eyes. "It's not like I care. All I was doing was having a good time and flirting with someone for once.. He can go ahead and be with as many women as he pleases." She said, getting up and peaking her head out their door to see Dante with the girls. She smirked slightly and shut the door. "You worry too much Ace, I don't like him. I just wanted to flirt for awhile, and if I see him again tomorrow thats what I plan on doing." She said, letting a few strands of hair fall into her face as she sat back down.

"Ah," said, Dubhaigh, "What a coincidence, my name is Dubhaigh. It is Irish for blacken." He gave a grin then continued in an excited voice that grew louder and quicker as he went on, "You might already know this, but Keira comes from Kira which in turns comes from the Irish name Ciara. And, of course, Ciara is the male version of Ciar, which means black! How interesting." He gave a blank stare for a few seconds then spoke in a more relaxed tone, "How is the soup?"

Keira couldn't help, but smile. It was a coincidence. "That is very interesting. You seem to be a very educated person, Dubhaigh." And so animate, she thought. She stirred her soup with her spoon before taking a bite. The female already knew it was going to be excellent from the aroma, but when she tasted it, her mouthbuds danced with the burst of flavour. "Wow! This is way better than I remember it."

Ki'la snorted, obviously not buying it.
Si'la poked her with an elbow. "Don't be so rude, Ky." Looking at Dante, she smiled slightly, not much of a flirt...with exceptions. "Thank you for the compliment, I suppose. But I would prefer if you kept them to yourself. I'm not much for them and Ki'la here likes banter better then flirts. Just as a forewarning, Mr. Dante. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go to our room. Ky?"
Ki'la shook her head. "I'm going to go back downstairs, Sy. You have fun, yes? Maybe ask them," she jerked a hand back at the door that Scarlett just poked her head out of and another male had gone into. "about....well, you know." Si'la shrugs.
They both look back at Dante, smiles of opposite eeriness. "Goodnight sir." Si'la goes to their room and goes inside, shutting the door behind her.
Ki'la looked Dante up and down. "I'd ask if you'd like to join me but it appears you've had enough tonight." She cocked her head to the side a little bit. "And I imagine you were just going to bed. In which case, good night, dear sir."

"Hmm, I wouldn't say educated, knowledgeable is probable a better word for it. Years of experience and traveling." Said Dubhaigh. He smiled widely when she expressed her like of the soup. "It's a special recipe I got from the Duchess of the lizardpeople. It's a very interesting process, the lizardpeople's method of passing knowledge..." He said, drifting off with a blank look toward nowhere.

Out of the corner of his eye, Dante glimpsed Scarlett. The sight of her brought a bit of his sober attitudes back - she didn't need to think he was being a complete and total player and jerk.
Dante chuckled, fingering his key again. When Ki'la bid him a good night, he sent her a smile. "See you around, then." He didn't need another drink - though it was a rather tempting thought. Slipping into his room, he collapsed on the bed without bothering to take off his coat or boots. He'd live. He just needed some rest so he could keep the monster within him repressed.

Keira blew on her spoon before gulping it down. She was definitely not going anywhere else to get this kind of soup. "Lizardpeople, huh?" She stared into space over the bartenders head as she said, "I wish I could travel. There are so many things I want to see. What was your-" Then she noticed that the man had a blank expression on his face. "Are you okay, Dubhaigh?"

Dubhaigh's eyes widened and he looked back to Keira, "Huh?" he said, with his jaw slack, "Oh, right, sorry. I was lost in some old memories. Anyways, what were you saying? You were going to ask something, right?" He put his elbows down on the bar, then stereotypically wiped it down slowly with a rag.

Ki'la walked down back to the main room of the Inn and walked over to the bar and sat down. She wondered how her sister was doing. They didn't often split like this. Though she supposed it happened often enough that it didn't actually bother her. She looked down the bar towards the barkeep. She raised a 'delicate' hand and said just loud enough for him to hear her but not loud enough that she sounded rude, since he was talking. "Could I perhaps get a drink, sir?" She was actually being polite as well.
Si'la sighed as she entered the room. It was nice and quaint and had the window that her dear sister needed. She quickly went through the room, making sure that there was nothing suspicious in it. It wasn't that they don't trust the owners here but they had learned years ago to be cautious.
Finding nothing out of the ordinary, she smiled to herself and begins to hum a little. She was content for now. Remembering her sisters words, however, she turned and opened her own door again and locked it behind her. She took a small breath and knocked on Ace and Scarlett's door, hoping that they would, perhaps, answer.

Dubhaigh looked over towards the girl at the other end of the bar and said, "Sure, anything specific? We've got most of everything. House reccomends Bad Wolf's Ginny Gin Gin or Schloustervanschweizelpeiken's dark beer." He grabbed a glass in anticipation and added, "Oh, and would you like it on the rocks?"

Julia almost gave a sigh of relief when Ace excused himself, then looked down the bar at the few people that were still downstairs. Most everyone's gone to sleep by now. She shook her head and waved her hand, deciding it wouldn't be a horrible idea to ask if they had anything that might be better than straight alcohol.

Ti chuckled a little as he raised the bottle, filling Daeman's cup and then his own. "Suicides, huh? I've done enough of those myself, but people tend to call on me for the ones they want to fall off the map entirely." he said, a small dark smile gracing his lips for a moment.
He hesitated at her next comment, looking down at her with suddenly serious eyes. "Allies?" He paused, thinking a moment before answering. "It would be a dangerous thing to call yourself the ally of someone such as myself." he said, offering a vague and slightly cryptic answer. Ironic, it seemed, due to the fact that they were already both dangerous people living dangerous lives. He shook his head slightly, she probably would take it as a bad excuse or that he didn't trust her enough to not cross him. Maybe he would just leave it as that, he didn't want to delve into what he was and wasn't, his heritage was a tricky thing to discuss. Somehow though, he doubted the quick-witted woman would drop it....
After the almost-fight was adverted, Elysia had quietly walked out the front door, flipping the wooden sign on the front of the building to "No Vacancy". She tenderly checked over a few of the flowering shrubs, then made her way back inside, closing the heavy doors behind her. Her head briefly turned to the clock, noting that it had gotten quite late already, and made her way over to Dubhaigh, politely waiting until he had served all the asking patrons before speaking to him.
"It's almost midnight, you should close the bar up soon. I am retiring to my quarters... as always, let me know if I am needed at all." She said, smiling slightly and giving a slight nod. She said good night to the patrons and made her way up one of the staircases, walking down the hall past the other doors and into her own. She sat at the elegant desk within her room and pulled out an old leather-bound book, taking up her quill, she wrote down the names of all the current patrons, some in black, some red. She "looked" at the list, sighing at the amount of red on the page. There were more fighters in the small tavern than she was used to and it unnerved her slightly. Sighing once more, she turned her pale face to the window, quickly becoming lost in thought.

"You and i are one and the same. We both make people fall off the map when needed, for payment or other. We live dangerous lives and it would be interesting for an alliance to be formed between two such as we are" The little halfling took the cup from him and closed her eyes for a brief second to suggest that she trusted him. Her voice was calm and smooth for if it hadn't been then there was no point in uttering the words she had before. "No one has ever heard of this sort of thing happening before and for good reason, but if neither of us are greedy when we do a job together or even when we just need information that the other has, then it should work out nicely. Besides, we can call on each other if there is need of assistance and know for a fact that we are getting the help we need." Daeman took another drink of her alcohol while putting her weapons away to show that she was honest to her word. Besides, for once she had met an honest assassin. If he needed the strength that she had due to her size, she would do it for him without a price. She would hope that because she was willing, that if she ever needed his help due to his strengths from his size, that he would help her as well. The man had been gracious enough to her, sharing his whiskey, having a nice conversation with her without trying to kill her just because she was an assassin as well. It all seemed like a legitimate offer.

"Hmmmm," said Dubhaigh, with his hand on his chin and his eyes aimed at the ceiling, "I think the most interesting place I ever traveled to was the island of Tortuga, meeting all those interesting sailors in their extravagant garb. I only wish it has lasted longer. Of course nothing compares to my home and I am always enthralled to be back there when I go." He smiled and then looked alert when Elysia came over very subtly. "Very well, good night ma'am." He said, with a polite gesture, then turned to the patrons at the bar and said, "If you'll all excuse me I'll be back in a minute and it will be last call." Then he walked into the kitchen, performing some tidying up and putting things away. He went to the last pot left on the stove and opened it slightly. "Ah, good it's done." He said, pulling out a large flask and pouring the contents of the pot into it. He walked back out to the bar and announced, "All right, last call everyone. Anybody interested in a final drink?"

" I have no doubts that an alliance between us would be beneficial..." He sighed, taking a drink out of the cup that nearly emptied it. Well, he could tell her, he had told others before and it wasn't like it was a huge secret. She might not even know what a dhampir was....what was the worst that could happen? She could obviously take care of herself, so perhaps it wasn't going to be a big of a risk as he was used to. "What I meant by dangerous was that I'm a...rare breed of being. I am what is known as a dhampir, a bastard half-breed of human and vampire. Those that associate too much with my kind tend to go missing quickly." he said, his voice calm as hers, not showing any particular emotion, except perhaps a bit of remorse.

A dhampir. How interesting. The little halfling had never known seen a dhampir before so it was hard to imagine that it would look like an ordinary human. After all, she hadn't actually heard of one before, only stories that made them sound mean and annoying. The girl started to stand up on her bed. "Well thats interesting an all but i dont see how your too dangerous. You as nice a man as any come walkin into places im at. Ya don' seem like the type to kill your friends so im just going to say that no matter what species, I would still like an alliance with ya." She jumped off the bed with her drink in hand, not spilling one drop. "Would you want to go downstairs to see all whose down there or would you like to turn in for the night? Ill let you think about the alliance thing for a while. Besides, you never know what an interesting breed a halfling is.

Ki'la smiled at the man. "Just water, I suppose." To keep up pretenses of course. "I'm afraid I am not old enough to drink anything so strong, even if it does sound very tempting. And I suppose it would be off to bed shortly as well. And ice would be wonderful." She would have added thank you in at the end but she wasn't Si'la.
"On second thought, I think I'll just retire to my room." She stood from her stool, an easy thing to do when your almost six feet and the stool is small. "Thank you in any case, barkeep." She nodded her head at him and headed back up the stairs.
She found her sister knocking at the door of the room she had earlier suggested. She touched her twins shoulder. "Si'la, perhaps they have already to bed. We should as well."
Si'la sighs. "I suppose you are right." She turns back to the door. "Sorry to have woken you if I did. Goodnight!" She called softly through the door in an attempt to not wake them or to just be nice after having knocked.
Once that was done, the pair went into their room and locked the door behind them and proceeded to get ready for bed.
"Goodnight Ky."
"Goodnight Sy."
"Can't wait to see what the day brings..."
"You know it will be pain, as always."
"I know. But still-"
"I know."
"Love you, Ky."
"Love you, Sy."
"Goodnight."
(So, because of spring break thing happening that I mentioned in my siggy, I put my girls to bed...I will do my best to try to get on at some point in the next week and a half but there is no garuantee. So, please, by all means, continue on without me. I'll just have the girls "wake up" when I get back ^_^ Sorry T_T)

"I've never been there, but it does sound interesting. I'm gonna have to travel there sometime." At the mention of the bar closing, Keira stood up and put some cash on the bar for her soup. "It was nice talking to you, sir. Good night." With that, she headed off to her room where she quickly changed into her pajamas and climbed into bed. After that arguement with Jazuchu, she was exhausted and quickly fell asleep.
Jazuchu sighed. It was a long day for him. He walked to his room in a drunken stupor, surprisingly making to his room before passing out on the bed. Everything felt numb to him at the moment, and he didn't care.

Aneira headed upstairs with her soup. Seemly hitting a time where everyone was just heading to bed, or simply sleeping already. She headed into her room, closing the door behind her. Sitting at the desk she ate the soup. Which she found very good. Once finished, she pulled a few pillows from her bed, bringing it to the floor in front of the fire. Where she laid down as close to the fire as she could without burning herself. She turned on her side, looking into the flames as she thought about the man from earlier...
Although Aneira usually didn't give much thought to men, he intrigued her. Maybe it was his personality, or the slight background she got from him. Either way he reminded her very much of herself. Although not a lord's daughter. In her culture the generals and war lords were the leaders. She rolled onto her back, laying her thoughts to rest before shutting her eyes and falling asleep.

Dubhaigh bid good night to the final patrons and finished closing up the bar. He put everything away, finished cleaning, and locked all the cabinets and cupboards. Then he retired to his room behind the kitchen. He put out the light and laid into bed, closing his eyes. Something very interesting was about to happen here, he could feel it in his, ..., whatever he had inside of him. Thoughts like this swam through his head until he eventually fell asleep, losing his defined form. If anyone walked in while he was sleeping they would only see an odd black mass they would find themselves unable to describe later on.

Julia watched everyone leave the bar, stepping off her own stool as well. She walked over to the sitting area, looking at the array of books on the shelves for a little while, then slipping quietly up to her own room, locking the door behind her. she took her boots off, putting the twin knives hidden in them under the pillow, then made sure the curtains were securely closed before laying in bed and practicing minor tricks with a little flame while thinking, waiting for sleep.
