Twin Brothers, Close to Each Other...

...but what happens when they both try to win over the same girl... and another girl set to mediate for them is caught in the middle?

Here is a supernatural highschool romance.

Jed yawned widely, covering his mouth with his hand. Could this class get any more boring? Running the same hand through his wild orange hair, he caught a small girl glancing over at him.

He grinned at her, flashing his famous bright green eyes. "Who needs history anyway, am I right?" Jed whispered.

He already knew that she was one of the shy ones. She blushed and looked down at her notebook, beginning to doodle random designs in the margins. Jed shook his head slightly and looked back up to find the teacher glaring at him.

"Talking in my class, Mister Sira?"

"Oh, just asking Kasey here to explain something," the teenager replied flippantly. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the girl's color increase even more. She probably didn't expect him to know her name. But then again, she didn't know that he made it a point to remember the name of every girl he met, whether cute, hot, or not.

It was a skill that definitely came in handy.

Charisma leaned over her notebook, jotting down equations in her usual careful, neat script. Pausing for a moment in paying attention to the math teacher at the front of the room, she shifted a bit in her chair.

Honestly, why couldn't they make these chairs a little more avian-kin-friendly? She knew that the way the seats were designed were an annoyance for those with tails as well as wings. Thank goodness that she wasn't one of the ones who had both, or the chairs would be even more uncomfortable to sit in than they already were.

A glimmer from her hand caught her eye, and her mood instantly improved. Just yesterday evening she had gotten her talons manicured and polished at a salon, and they looked amazing. She'd received compliments on them from several of her friends and acquaintances already, and it wasn't even lunchtime yet.

'After all, purple is my favorite color,' she thought happily to herself. Uncomfortable chair forgotten for the moment, she returned to taking notes.
