Keira looked over at the male that had just run in. He has dog ears and a tail! She hadn't seen anything like it. Not even at the lab when she visited her mother the one day. When Heiro sat down, it looked as if they could sit anywhere they wanted. She decided to sit as far away from the others as possible. Maybe, she could get them to think she was weak and shy. Deceiving them would help her out in the games. They would underestimate her and thinking that she's weak, they would go easy on her only for her to strike back hard and kill them. In these games, you got to do anything to win.

A female walked up to Setsurou and motioned him to follow. She must be the mentor. He followed the woman to a glass building, down the hall, and to a room where there were several others. It was the room set for the feast. He walked over to the table and sat down a few seats from the others. Each one of them seemed to be completely different. Not to mention the dog boy. What an odd creature?

Kori arrived in the room, after exiting the train with her bag. Softly, she sat in a chair, and looked around. Her mind was focussed on Alexander, but she didn't really care that she ignored him, earlier. She sat there, rubbing her stomach, and sighed gently. Hiccuping, she played with her short blue hair, making sure it was still covering her eyes. She closed her eyes and waited, her heart speeding up as the time ticked on and on.
~

Chord also arrived in the room, and walked around, examining. His loyal hound, Delilah, was by his side, looking every which way. His white hair was pushed out of his face, and his black hat sat loosely on his head. Singing softly, he grinned and started dancing, Delilah jumping up and twirling around as they danced. He and Delilah were always close, and after everything, she was even more protective than before. They always had fun together, and they were super close. His hair blew around softly as a gust of wind hit his face. He looked to Delilah, who jumped and had her paws resting on his chest. She was a large dog. Chord, being 6'2, was still knocked over by the 155 pound dog. Standing regularly, her head reached his ribs. It was almost unnatural how large she was. Sometimes, Chord rode on her back, and she loved it. He weighed less than her, at 115 pounds, so he never hurt her.

Once Gabrio had noticed that everyone who had looked at him, stared with a bit of shock or rather confusion than looked away. Giving a little sigh he noticed how a few of the other people in the room had grabbed a seat, he just tilted his head and walked right on over covering up his own body with the cloak and pulling the hood over his head to hide his dog ears. Thankfully, no one had really said anything about him being a freak for looking like that. Sitting at the table, Gabrio kept his head down a bit as he felt a little embarrassed for having bursted into the room the way he did. He was just so hungry and smelling the food made his senses go insane. The other people in the room probably thought of him as a freak already from doing just that. So without saying another word, he slipped one hand into his cloak and twiddled his fingers around the loop of his leash.

{sorry guys I thought I submitted my post, but it must have been when my internet crashed bleh}

Jamison Corei Stevens sat silently across from Scarlett as the train traveled onward. He was trying his best not to think too much about what was going to occur once they were off the train. It was going to be a strange situation, but there was nothing to help him now.

The boy knew that he was supposed to look after Scarlett. Himself and her father had become rather close since he had started working at the mine. After his father passed away Scarlett's father seemed to have taken him under his wing to guide him around the place. The young boy had caught on quickly and made rather good friend's with the older man. Yet he found himself rather conflicted on the whole subject. Jami wanted to make it home more than anything. He had a family back home to take care of. Five younger siblings and a mother were dependent on him for money to feed themselves. It was a tough situation and he certainly would look after Scarlett for as long as possible. He would not kill her himself though. That, would be a total betrayal of his friend. At times he wondered if perhaps he could get them both out of this...

Jamison thought of his friend. He certainly was a funny one. Often he suggested that he ask his daughter on a date. Yet he always sadly replied no because he had no time for that. Work always had kept him busy. Still the man insisted to bring the younger man over for dinner and would leave the two alone. It was bit silly, but still he knew that his friend was just looking out for his daughter. The brunette was not over confident, but he knew he was good looking as well as hard working. A man's perfect wish for his daughter. He was quickly pulled from his thoughts at the sound of her voice. At her question he sighed and nodded. "Ready, as I'm ever gunna be," he replied with a smile. Dressed in a pale red and gray checked flannel, white v-neck, slim fit jeans, and a pair of gray boots he was as ready as ever. Softly he touched his gauges, a nervous habit of his. In his ears were white buffalo bone tunnels.

----
Louise Margaret Pelech sat silently kicking her feet back and forth. She was rather impatient as they rode their way to the capital. The blonde would never have thought she would have been picked for this event. A plain ol' tomboy who woulda thought. She chewed on her gum as she looked to empty seat next to her and decided to stretch out across them. As she leaned on the armrest her eyes scanned the scenery as it passed by. It was certainly going to be an interesting situation. Grinning she hummed softly. The blonde wore her hair in a side pony tail with a little pink flower in the hair tie. Her bangs cascaded softly over her face as she followed the trees. Dressed in a coral colored long sleeved shirt, brown shorts, yellow knee high socks, and coral slip on keds she felt a little relaxed.

Her mind wandered to thoughts of her family as she rode along. She had been tagging along with her brother since she was a little girl to go fishing. Her mother had never actually had a husband just those lovers who came and left. So she had never had a father figure in her life. The closest she had to a father was her big brother. Lottie's concern was of course for her mother. What was going to happen to her when her big brother found a lover? Before she could finish her thoughts the train stopped. Sitting up she followed the small group of people towards where they were supposed to go.

Once inside she noticed Chord. They had never really spoken before besides the casual hello. Yet they were indeed from the same district. The boy seemed to prefer to be left alone just as Lottie did. Softly she leaned against the wall as she watched the pair. She had always loved animals due to her being always outside. Her eyes then looked to the others seated at the table. They certainly seemed like the odd group collected there. Shrugging the blonde went over and took a seat at the table as well. She assumed that was where she was meant to go.

Scarlett gave him a weak smile and took his hand, getting off the train. She dropped his hand once they exited.. knowing not to show the others any of their weaknesses. She made her way down a long hallway and opened the door for herself and Jamison. When they entered she frowned at the large feast and other people. Was the capital trying to make up for sending them off to be killed?

Scarlett thought of the many tactics to win.. but none of them would bring her happiness knowing that either her or Jamison would die. She knew Jamison had a bigger family than her own.. but all she could think about was her twin younger brother and sister. Her father was never home so she was the only one to care for them, and when he rarely was home he could only spend so much time with them before leaving again. She looked back to Jamison, knowing he was nervous as well and tried to start up a conversation. "I'm just happy I have you as my district partner.. your one of the only trustworthy boys in town. The rest would probably end up dying on the first day." She said, giving a small laugh.

She knew Jamison was hard working and found him pretty attractive, but his life was hectic. Whenever he wasn't working her father told her of how he had to hep his family or do multiple things to be the father figure of their family. There was no room for a love so she never let herself show interest in him when he was around. Scarlett usually had to go to the market, her job, or tend to the twins all day who were both eight.

Ace made his way into the large banquet room and took a seat at the end of the table in the back. He let his eyes travel around the room and felt a shiver go up his spine when he saw the portrait of President Snow on the wall. That man scared him more than anything in the world, just his eyes could get someone killed.

Ace gulped and looked to two people that just came in. They seemed close. One weakness. He looked towards a few others in the room and mentally checked off more things about everyone. He planned to help his fellow district two and never kill her, but if she tried to kill him then he'd have too. He didn't exactly trust her at the moment but eventually he would.

Smolder scanned the room, searching for weaknesses of other tributes. They were sure to be on their best behavior at the feast, the careers bonding and the others being very wary. He glanced at the dog-like boy a few times, unsure if he was just dressed up like that to confuse people or if he really was like that. "Shine..." He nudged the girl in her ribcage. "We've got to socialize to find weak spots...oh, and team up with the other career tributes." Shine nodded, agreeing with him. The most important thing about the feast was that it could be used to detect other people's weaknesses. Dragging Smolder over to a boy that she recognized as Ace from District 2, and she held her hand out, and put on her I'm-a-stupid-girl-that's-obsessed-with-myself facade. "Hey! Im Shine. He's Smolder. We're from District 1." Shine giggled on the outside while she was secretly analyzing the boy on the inside.

Natasha noticed everyone began socializing. She didnt talk and stayed away from the rest of the group of the other people. She didnt feel like talking at the moment. plus she knew people would be looking for weaknesses.

Charlie looked around for someone to talk to. He didnt really know what to do. He noticed a girl not talking to anyone. She figured she would talk to someone if she wanted to be bothered.

Kori looked over and saw Ace walk in. She was going to go say hello, but a woman who was her age and far less mature than she walked over to him. She sighed softly and walked over to Ace, looking at the man next to the woman whom she overheard introduce herself as Shine, and the man as Smolder. Kori kept her hair in her face, hiding her taboo blood red eyes, and held out a small but strong hand. "The name's Kori," she said, quietly, but loud enough for the small group to hear. She glanced at Shine, and then to Ace. 'He better not fall for her,' she thought, glaring in secrecy. Softly, she looked back to Smolder, and smiled gently, then quickly put her hand over her face, fixing her hair, which parted slightly, showing a glimpse of her eyes. She giggled quietly, then held her hand out once more after fixing her hair, waiting for Smolder to shake it.

Heiro watched other tributes arrive with elbows on the table, fingers laced and in front of his lips. It wasn't long before some of them approached each other, introductions going around as a cover for learning as much as they could about their opponent. Heiro did not make an effort to do the same, instead keeping a dark eye and open ear on those who were talking, learning just as much, if not more about them. He could tell who had fighting abilities and who didn't just by the way they moved, or the way their eyes darted about the room, trying to assess one another. He almost smiled at how oblivious the dog-boy was, but he knew the boy was from district five and obviously had altered genetics, who knew what he was capable of? After letting his eyes linger on the pup for a moment longer, he studied the rest of the teens whom had remained silent like himself.

Sitting there at one of the chairs, Gabrio stayed a bit quiet with his ears flat down against his head and tail nearly going right under his chair. He was actually sitting there awaiting for the food to had finally come out so that he could eat something, this was the building he was supposed to go to, and not to mention seeing how other people kept coming in and noticing no one had told him to leave. It must've meant that he belonged here as well. He had noticed that some of the people taking their attention over to him a couple of times, due to the strange feeling that anyone would get when watched. But considering he had also received the injections of dog genes within him; that also made his ability to notice people staring at him a bit more aware as he only glanced at some of the people in the room already and noticed how a few more were entering the room. Giving a little smile for a moment to see he wouldn't be all alone in this room, Gabrio just grabbed a small piece of bread out of his little pouch and began to take small little nibbles out of it. It wasn't much to fill up his hunger; but it was something at least, and now just getting food in general; Gabrio's little dog tail began to wag left and right with happiness and his ears twitching with the same amount of happiness as well.

As Rouge was glancing rapidly around, Wren had spotted a few of the toher tributes walking inside one of the great buildings, being led by older people, no doubt their Mentors. Tapping the other's shoulder lightly, he motioned in the right direction, starting to pull Rouge towards the dwindling flow of tributes. She smiled softly to her quiet friend before jumping a little as she felt a strange hand on her shoulder. Spinning round, Rouge stared up at at the vaguely familiar face. Before the guy could even speak Wren moved Rouge lightly back. "Our Mentor" He murmured softly, earning a slight nod from the man. Rouge raised an eyebrow, gazing at him up and down before shrugging and walking back into the building, followed by the silence fo the other two. It was almost amusing how similar Wren was to their new mentor, neither liked to talk much.

As the two entered the room, they were left alone by their Mentor to deal with the other Tributes. The second they walked in, Rouge's eyes widened in shock. She couldn't believe how many strange people there were here, everyone looked so different, especially that one kid with...Dog ears? Wren saw the boy a few seconds after Rouge and groaned softly as she approached the other from behind. Reaching out quickly, she lightly tugged at one of the ears with an amazed expression. "Are these real? How'd you get them? Wren come and look at these! They're real dog ears!" She spoke brightly before looking confused for a moment as Wren lightly took her hand to remove it from the ear. "District Five" He explained, earning a slow nod of understanding. "Sorry for her, she doesn't understand personal space at times" Wren added, speaking to the boy who had been interrupted in eating his bread.

Natasha sat in her chair with her arms crossed. She moved a pink streak of hair out of her eyes and waited for the food to be served. She wasn't going to talk to anyone or pretend to make friends since they would end up killing each other in the end. She saw the boy looking at her, but didn't make it clear she did.

Charlie looked around at the different people at the table. They looked so amazing. Especially the one with the animal ears and tail but he didn't stare for too long so he wouldn't seem rude. Then he notice the girl with the pink streaks in her blond hair. He couldn't help but wonder why she wasn't chatting like everyone else was. He couldn't see her eyes under her bangs, but that didn't bother him. He looked around at the other people.

While eating his small piece of bread that he had taken out from the small pouch. Gabrio began to feel like he was drifting off to his own little world that felt almost like a small heaven. Even if it was plain, having some food in his stomach made him feel a bit more energized than he was a few minutes ago when he was waiting and searching for food. All of a sudden, while eating his bread he had felt a rather tough tug at his dog ears as Gabrio's tail curled up behind him in pain. It felt as though he was back at the lab where they treated him just like a dog where they'd pull on his ears and tail to test if they'd stay on. Turning around with a slightly angered glare and low growl; he noticed how it was a older female with an orangey redish color hair staring in a bit of shock wondering if his dog ears were real. "Of course they're real! and that hurts you know!" he snapped, eyes widen when he noticed how a black-haired male had come over telling the girl that he was from district 5 and apologizing for her actions. How this man knew that Gabrio was from district 5 was a big mystery to Gabrio; but whatever the reason he knew, he just gave a little shrug rubbing his ears a bit with his hands. Truly, that had hurt more than anything else; was when people tugged on his dog parts. "Just dont pull on them like that..it hurts alot." he stated, with his voice sounding a bit more calm than earlier.

When Kori heard the commotion, she turned and snickered as a redhead tugged at his ears. 'Wait ...' she thought, watching the raven-haired male closely. When she was younger, she remembered playing with a fair-haired, kind-hearted male. She couldn't see his face, yet, so she reached back into her memories, and dug deep. He was always taller, and thin, with black hair. Check. This man had all those. He was kind to the dog, and to the woman with red hair. So, this must mean he is a generally kind man. But, the boy she remembered had glasses ... Glasses ... 'Come on, turn!' she thought, and when he turned to the side for a split second, sure enough ... This man had glasses. 'Wren ...' she thought, weak-hearted. She wanted to say hello, but what if he didn't remember her? They were from different districts, so what if he's the type to hate others outside of his? Sighing, she just stood there, watching with soft eyes.

Rouge jumped in surprise as the dog-boy started to speak, in a surprisingly grown up tone. She could have sworn he was only a little kid. Dropping her hands to her side, she watched the other quietly before giving a slight shrug. “Sorry, I thought they were some sort of addition to your outfit...They’re kinda cute though” She smiled brightly to the other, glad Wren had been able to smooth things over a little. Wren nodded as the other told them not to pull his ears again, giving Rouge a slight glare before he glanced back to the other. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure she doesn’t...I’m Wren and this is Rouge, from District 3” He explained before holding out a hand in greeting. The boy had known what district the toher was from due to his research. Once he'd known he and Rouge were going to be in the Hunger Games he had decided to find out as much about the other districts as possible. By learning that District 5 was responsible for DNA splicing and breeding, he'd made a guess that the dog-boy was from that district.

Rouge had started to grow a little bored and she glanced around, gazing at the other tributes curiously. Pausing for a moment, her eyes narrowed when she caught sight of a girl staring over at them. In particular, staring at Wren. She lightly elbowed her friend, making him glance sideways to her. “Either you got an admirer or a very nosy observer” Rouge whispered, chuckling as Wren turned to gaze curiously at the girl in question. After a couple of seconds, he shrugged, turning quickly away. “Dunno who she is, but she doesn’t look like she’s glaring or anything, just leave it Rouge” He whispered back. Rouge shrugged, giving the girl a final look before peering back at the dog-boy. “So how’d you get these then?” She questioned, pointing at the ears and tail, only just resisting tugging at them again.

Hearing that his outfit had looked kind of cute with the dog ears, Gabrio just gave returned with his usual big bright smile. He did act sometimes like as if he was older than his own age due to the fact that he just really got angry when he had people pull on his ears or tail. It brought back too many memories of pain and being used in wrong ways. "Thanks miss!" he replied, with his voice sounding as if he had just eaten a bunch of candy and was give a toy right after. Gabrio's real personality was just like a kid's but like he said, he doesn't like it when people pull his ears or tail for that matter..just not hard. So when the other male said that he'd make sure she not pull them again, he just nodded with his bright smile again. "Thank you mister!" he called out, before his tail began to relax once more and start to wag happily under the chair. Not really noticing who else was looking at this point due to the fact that he already knew that these two had their attention on him; Gabrio just licked his hand for a moment and rubbed the back of his own ears. Not really listening to what the two were talking about amongst each other; Gabrio just grabbed onto his inhumanly large bone and began to nibble on it playfully. Only when he heard a question come up toward him about how he got them, did he turn away from his bone and looked back at the same female who pulled his ears earlier. Listening to her question and continuing to keep his big smile on his face. Gabrio kneeled onto the chair to look back at the girl. "Those meanies from the capitol did this t-to me. They put some weird medicine into me..it hurted. alot." he explained, with his tail slowly going in between his legs from remembering all the pain of growing his tail and ears. The only reason that Gabrio gave so little information about how he recieved them was because he wasn't exactly told what the serum was, and he wasn't exactly sure how else to explain it due to his lack of knowledge of still only being a little kid.

The change in personality from the dog-boy made her eyes widen in surprise. Rouge remained silent for a little while before she started to giggle, covering her lips in a feeble attempt to smother the noise. “Y-you c-caal-lled us M-mis-ss a-and-d M-mii-s-ster!” The words stammered from her mouth until Wren lightly hit the back of her head to make her shut up. “Sorry...Again...” He grimaced a little before Rouge rolled her eyes slightly. “Yeah yeah, sorry about the laughter, you just don’t tend to get called Miss and Mister round the area we lived unless you had rich parents” She rolled her eyes a little again before blinking down at the other. “Y’know...You remind me of my little brother...Doesn’t he look like Roebin Wren? How old are you huh? And what’s your name? I don’t want to keep calling you dog-boy forever” She spoke rapidly, leaning closer to the other as she inspected him curiously. Wren was on the verge of face palming. She really didn’t understand the idea of personal space or private information. “Yes, a little, although last time I saw him, he didn’t have a fondness for bones” He smiled faintly, choosing not to mention the dog ears and tail. As the other explained to them what had happened, he felt the stiffening of his friend as Rouge’s eyes gained a hard glint. “That nasty capitol...We should give them a taste of their own medicine one day” She murmured, falling silent as Wren rested a hand on her shoulder. “And we should watch what we say. One would almost say you’re being rebellious” He pointed out. Both knew the danger of talking against the capitol, and Rouge had too much to lose to be stupid enough to do so.

Kori saw the two look at her, and sighed. 'He doesn't know who I am ...' she thought, her eyes lowering. For a moment, she was about to give up, but instead, she stood there. 'I need to get him to remember ... But how?' Kori looked around the room, then a flashback of she and Wren dancing along to 'Ring A Ring O' Roses.' She smiled to herself. Turning her body fully, she faced away from him, and started to sing.
"Ring-a-ring-a-roses,
A pocket full of posies;
Hush! Hush! Hush! Hush!
We’re all tumbled down."
She sang it over and over, hoping this would spark a little interest, and get him to remember. 'It was so many years ago ... Why do I remember?' she thought, while she sang.

[[PS. 'Ring A Ring O' Roses' is what 'Ring Around The Rosie' was originally called.]]

Hearing the stuttering voice coming from the same girl Gabrio tilted his head curiously at the fact of why she sounded so nervous all of a sudden. "Is that a problem?..if you'd like than..I shall call you by your names." He explained, before scratching the back of his head with one hand while his other hand still having a firm grip of the large bone. Gabrio never really knew what the whole reason was behind the words 'mister' and 'miss' were, he had just thought it meant to be polite to others; but hearing that it had basically represented rich people, he gave a giggle of his own as he nodded. Once asked the question about what his name was and how old he was; he continued to give a big smile and reply without hesitation. "I'm 16 and my name is Gabrio Takashi." he explained, after finally speaking out his name and age; listening in on the two speaking about how he looked like someone else that sounded like having the same name as Wren. Gabrio just tilted his head and slowly sat into his seat backwards and nibbled his large bone. After being told that the capital should get it's own medicine he just nodded quickly back in agreement while nibbling his bone. Soon enough though, his attention was immediately taken over to the side when he had heard another female's voice, sounding as if she were singing. Eyes widened a bit to see a light blue-haired woman singing, Gabrio just tilted his head curiously and pointed over toward her but looking at both Rouge and Wren. "Hey..do you know who that is?..her singing is really good."

Smolder tilted his head in confusion. Why was this girl singing a nursery rhyme? He could see that Shine was thinking the exact same thing. Being thrown in a room full of people you were probably going to have to kill was now a good time to start singing songs from when you were younger. Waiters and waitresses poured into the room, carrying what seemed like an endless feast. There was every type of meat, vegetable, fruit, and dessert you could imagine. There was a cornucopia cake with edible little mini weapons to resemble the cornucopia that would hold the weapons. "Wow." Shine lifted an eyebrow. "That cake must've tooken some time to make." She spoke to an waitress, but she wouldn't answer. When the waitress opened her mouth, she realized that she was an Avox. Someone who went against the law. Shine just nodded at her as she left, going back into the kitchen. But Shine couldn't stop thinking that she looked a bit familiar...

When the girl came towards him Ace gave a small smile. "Hello, I'm Ace." He said, knowing that he could not give anything away that would be a weakness as he talked to her. She was a pretty girl, but not pretty enough to make him say all his dark secrets. Well.. really no girl in the world was pretty enough to do that. He watched as his district partner stood by him, then randomly started to sing. He widened his eyes for a moment and then looked away and back to the girl and boy. "So what district arr you two from? I'm from two." He said quietly, running his hand through his hair nervously.

(OMFG srry guys, i didnt know ya'll started posting geez i got a lot of work 2 do :XP )

Knightona got off the train and walked through the town. Her large black ears and long black tail flickered and swayed side to his as she kept getting odd looks from random people that passed her. Knightona wasn't really surprised by the looks she was getting from the human that past her by giving her those odd looks. Knightona's clothes were actually the main concern, well for the men that walked by anyway, her clothes were to small for her. The jacket she wore was way too short to cover up her chest completely, causing her chest to slip out the jacket a little. Her shorts were....well, short. They never could cover her thighs completely which caused Knightona to wear long pink and black stockings to cover up half of her thighs. Knightona placed her hands behind her head and actually like she was sleepwalking, swaying and curling her tail walking around until she heard her stomach growl.

Knightona walked to random places to find something to eat but the places there didn't have the food she loved. Almost not paying attention, Knightona walked passed three people talking and one of them didn't seem human. She walked over and saw that the boy has dog ears and tail. Knightona stared at the dog boy then spoke in a soft and gentle voice. "H-Hi, m-my name is Knightona, I-I'm from District 5. Where are you all from?" she asked wiggling her ears happily and swaying her tail cheerfully as she looked at them, forgeting the fact that she was hungry.

Giving up, Kori walked quickly by the two and sat in a chair. She didn't move, just stared at the floor. Her stomach gurgled, a sign of hunger, but all she did was stay in the chair. 'I feel like a failure,' she thought, placing her hands over her face, squeezing her eyes shut tight. Thoughts jumbled around her head, never coming to a stop, as she just sat there, motionless. "Stupid ..." she whispered, to herself.
