The world has been turned into the hands of the rich and dangerous.All you need is connections and knowledge to survive.

The two biggest names at the root of all this power is Mikel Lombardi and Larry Giordano. At least they were. Twenty-five years ago the two were really good friends. One could even say brothers. They helped each other rise to the highest power over Peragon City. Everything they earned they split equally. That included territory.

The police captain, Richard Grace wanted them shut down, but the only way to do that was to have them permanently wiped out. They had to many connections in the courts. So he hired a man named Castro to get the job done. Only a few of Grace's men were let in on the plan.

Castro got the job done. The bodies were never found, but there was news of an explosion on the Giordano yacht. Some believed they were on it. Others believe it was just a hokes. Either way everyone figures they are to old to be considered a threat any more.

Now in present day the two men's families have taken over. Giordano's niece and both Lombardi's and Giordano's grandson. Neither hold the same loyalties and ideals of the one's before them. They have turned the city into a war zone. They feud for full control and the elimination of the other.

A glance behind you: Abel grew up the son of Abel Lombardi and Vivian Giordano.
Having both genes in him he believed he had the right to be over both families.
He however settled on inheriting his father's side of the business, did not put aside the matter fully. If he was not going to have full power, he wanted the most power. Thus he began shifting territories. One could say he was the one to begin the war between the families, but both Don's had the same ideas so whose to say.

Abel had to prove himself before becoming Don. He had to earn respect and
get passed being Daddy's little boy. There was another man to take his place,
if he could not prove himself. His father had also gone into a comma due to a
sudden stroke around that time so they needed a leader quick. By the age of
nineteen he had made his first real kill. John Griffin, an enemy of his father and
a close friend of his. After that he rose to Don and just a few years after that
his father passed away.

Your Personality: No one ever can get the truth about who Laura Belle really is. For the most part she comes off as manipulative, psychotic and as a person who likes to mess with peoples minds. Then there's also the part of her who shows a bit of caring and innocents bringing her off as a human with an actual soul. The only thing that can be certain is that she's a woman of high intelligence and always knows exactly what she's doing. And of course the biggest question is: how much can you trust her?



A glance behind you: Who is this Laura Belle? Once again no one knows that much about her or even if that is her actual name, she joined, and that's it. Aside from that she seemed to have, at one point, been close to the current Don.

But here's what you should know about Laura for yourself:

Laura had a father and a mother of great wealth. Her father's side of the family had served emperors of Japan, for multiple generations, as samurai. So from a young age, though the ways had died, her father passed on to her and her older brother the arts. When she was about thirteen and her brother was sixteen the boy joined the mafia.

It had happened shortly after their uncle's store was robbed, when their father's younger brother had been shot and killed. Her brother claimed he was seeking out protection, their father said he was only seeking revenge. The murderers were found by the police, but punished by his new mafia family, the Lombardi. Thus proving even more to their father that it was for vengeance and also power.

Her brother ended up dead because of some mafia business when he was twenty-two. Just a couple years before they had lost their father from a heart attack. The two men had been distant all those years. Though with their father's death Laura's brother might as well have been the closest to him. He blamed himself for his death and took it upon himself even more to protect his family.

At some point, it can not truly be said why, but she took on the role her brother played after his death, entering the mafia. That's when everything for her began to change. She left behind a lot of things, but not completely, just in appearance. And still no one knows anything about who she really is or what her part is in this on going war.

Your choice of weaponry: whip Katana passed down from her older brother who got it from their father and so on. She also uses a series of special chemicals.

You've lived: 44 years
Your orientation: Heterosexual
Your Personality: Chillingly pragmatic, Jericho is a seasoned killer and 'diplomat' for the Lombardi family. He is elegant, efficient, and exceptionally removed from the horrors his work demands. He is also an excellent advisor, having worked for the previous family Don, but will only offer advice if asked. His loyalty is unquestionable.

A glance behind you: [history] Jericho grew up in the slums of Paragon City, and quickly learned to make his mark in the ragtag gangs that ruled there. He despised bullies, and traitors even more so. He lived only with his mother, a poor but ambitious woman. She put Jericho through school at her expense, with the hopes that he would advance in society and become a lawyer. Jericho learned to lie to her about where he acquired his funds. He considers his 'career' an honest choice.

The Lombardi and Giordano families were a legend, even then, and as soon as he could, he made a name for himself as an efficient and ruthless killer. But he also formed himself a well-balanced gang. Together, they ruled the slums until the Lombardi family took notice. Mikel made contact with him 27 years ago, and appointed him as a foot soldier. He took a liking to the man, and Jericho was soon an advisor in the high ranks of the family.

Junior has relegated him to his less-known duties as an assassin. He has his own family that he keeps apart from his Mafia duties. He is intensely protective of them.

Your Personality: Gueston is very sadistic and conniving. The best part about it all is that she is able to cover it all up with an innocent female act. this is the largest reason as to why none of her (massive amount of) enemies have been able to find her. That and the fact that she goes by a male name.
She is also very intelligent when it comes to technology. All the weapons she has, she has made.

A glance behind you: [history] Gueston has never really told many people about her past unless of course it was the bit that relates to her work. At the age of 13, something in her mind snapped when her parents tried to tell her that she couldn't be a world traveler and that she had to "choose" something logical to do in life. The child took a knife to her parents' backs, leaving them helpless while she tortured them and then smashed their heads in with a brick.
The police were notified of a horrid smell coming from the home after a few days had gone by and she was put through the justice system and ultimately thrown in a mental hospital to "correct" her ways. Gueston had stayed there for a month before she became annoyed with the same daily routine. She escaped, hiding on a boat headed for France.
The police stopped looking for the 13 year old girl when news of this boat (the only boat leaving the pier at that day and time) had sunk to the bottom of the ocean along with everyone on it. Little did they know that she was the one that took the only safety boat and made her way to the old world.
She grew up in France becoming the legendary "Jack the Ripper", killing over 25 young women for the hell of it. Upon turning 19, she "came across" a boat ticket headed for the America's and she set sail. By this point, she had grown so much that the police wouldn't recognize her and her name was changed to Julian Amour. She made her way to the West coast, doing jobs along the way, which gave her the money to get there in the first place. The name "Gueston" was spread around the country like some kind of disease. And she became well known for her work, though it was told that "Gueston" was a "he".
She arrived in Peragon City at the age of 23 and saw what was happening between these two gangs. This meant big bucks for the girl and she quickly chose a side. The only person who knows who she is exactly and where to find her is the Head of the Giordano Family.

Your Personality: A savage, egotistical, cynical, and overly paranoid spirit with an appetite for blood, and power. Since she was a young child there always seemed to be a dark aura around her. It started off as cute, in a twisted sort of way, because no one took her seriously when she uttered a few demented phrases, not in the world she came from. But as she grew older people began to fear there was something off about her, and indeed there was. She craved power because she had witnessed what one could do with it all her life. The older she got the more manipulative, and violent she became. If you ever see her smile, it most likely means someone is about to die.

Isabella holds her position as leader well because she keeps order, and promises. She also will take care of the people who put their trust in her, but she expects them to be more than willing when the time comes for them to do her a favor. The biggest thing that makes her different from her cousin is that she has no problem killing off her most loyal of men just because she feels like it.

A glance behind you: Isabella's father was born after Larry Giordano, making him the second oldest son of her grandfather. He took over the family shortly after his brother died. Unlike his predecessor who ran things like a family business her father, Alvise, began running things as a general planning the best course of war, and his main objective was to tick off the police as much as possible. Unfortunately on Isabella's eighteenth birthday he was arrested for the supposed murder of a court judge, and a few days later he was killed by one of his inmates. He would have been released the next day based on some evidence they had found.

His son, Leone, was to take over, but he soon disappeared after his father's death, and Isabella conveniently took his place.

Before this though she had spent her free time in Daddy's chair pretending like she were smoking one of his Cuban cigars, and would every once in awhile take a swig from whatever liquor he had sitting on his desk. When she was thirteen she would begin openly sitting in on her father's meetings. At every school she attended she would have her own little gang of delinquents who made the students and faculty's lives miserable, crippling a few kids along the way. Once she got to be sixteen though her father became sick of all her trouble making, and sent her off to a boarding school in England. There she pretended to be a good little student for the next two years.

Your Personality: He's one of those guys that you know is an overall good person, but has his own way of going about things. Most of his good deeds are underlined with self-motived excuses, only those who know him will simply shake their heads. His loyalty can be questionable at times, but he most always pulls through for you in the end.

A glance behind you: Joel is the youngest son of Larry Giordano and has for the most part remained under the radar. It is basically assumed that being the son of the original Don his loyalty is with the Giordano's when in fact the only people he cares for is his actual family, which includes his nephew, Junior. Whether he chooses so or not he will be expected take on the next title of Don.

Joel never grieved his father's death much. It still hurt him, deeper than he let's on, but he was much to young to really know the man. From what he saw he was a good man, but as he got older he began to realize that when daddy had said he was going to work, someone died. So when he was eighteen he parted away from his family and began his own life in the cooking industry. He even opened up his own bakery. It was not until recently that he picked up a gun and carried it around, doing so because he had become a target of one the great families, most likely his cousin who was the most threatened by him being alive.

You've lived: Twenty-five years
Your orientation: Bisexual
Your Personality: The guy is loyal and trustworthy. He uses logic before he acts, but knows how to act on impulse if it comes down to it. He's reasonable and knows how to cut a fair deal. Fair for him anyways. Magma is pretty laid back and for the most part lives carelessly. He is also a bit sarcastic as well as critical. He tries not to pity people and tears don't phase him so easily. He also has the habit of being a heavy drinker. That's when he starts spilling his mind and all those bottled up
emotions. It can also lead to him making a fool of himself and having the sharp
memory that he does he ends up truly regretting it.




A glance behind you: Magma is a former detective that after going through some physical trauma, that took his right eye and left him with a bit of mental unstableness, he quit his job. Then he joined forces with the only people who had stayed true to him- the Giordano's. He had been working with them over his passed years as a detective. In those years he had covered a lot of their tracks. That landed him into a lot of trouble with the Lombardi's. He was captured and tortured beyond belief for about a week. They let him off with a warning.

He spent about a month in the hospital and then went back on the job, but still had to under go counseling. It proved to be to much for him the handle. After being proven mentally insane he was checked into an asylum. He was there about a year before release. Unfortunately there was not much of a life to go back to. His mother and father were a bit over baring in their efforts to help him and no one would hire him because of his record. So he turned away from that life and became a new person taking the identity of Magma.

I have finally made a don for the Giordano. I have also added a subsection in the main topic for characters whose names you might want to keep in mind under all the main characters.

I am looking for a co-don for the Lombardi's now. I will be posting the requirements in the recruitment thread, and link you to them later. Though you are welcomed to pm me about it if you choose.
