Azadeth was unfamiliar with the creatures Naomi called 'farm animals', it just didn't make sense that they would all just sit there like that. Granted, her clan had animals, but they were deer-like and very loyal. They could easily take care of themselves though, so someone having to care to the creatures was weird for her. She watched the creatures as they went about their business without a care in the world as to what was going on anywhere else but in their own forest. The random snapping of twigs did not even frighten them, it was almost like, as long as they were in there they were safe.

"Thank you, but I am alright for now," she then replied in regards to the bed. Was she tired? Yes, but she was not about to sleep in someone's house that she did not know. She wasn't one for such buildings anyway, the monastery had been something she had to get used to but now that she wasn't there, there were many more possibilities.

Once he heard his name being asked, his hand went to his forehead. How could he have forgotton to introduce himself!? That was hardly gentlemanlike! He smiled at her apologetically before answering and bowing politely. "My name is Zykaer, young lady." he said, his voice abnormally high for a male but yet still sweet and gentle. "And I do not mind walking. Walking is good for the heart and body."

"Zykaer.....Can i just call you Zyk?" Hana asked him as she smiled, looking up at the male as she gave him a innocent smile before slinging her staff back onto her back as she had to let him go as she had to climb over a fallen tree. "It is good for the mind also..... gives you time to think and let your senses hightened. I am sorry...i hope your making the right choice." she said to him as she smiled, waitting for himtoget over the fallen tree, normally she wouldn't be so talkative but this was the first person she has seen in sucha very long time that she couldn't help but talk.

Zykaer chuckled, nodding his bi-colored head. "Ah, yes, that happens to be my nickname." he responded, moving to help her over the tree, then following after. "Thinking is indeed a good thing. Ah, if I am making the wrong choice, then so be it. But I think it'd be worse for me to sit like a coward and wait for things to come to me.."

"Well good then, Zyk.....you can think of a nickname for me though....i don't have one." Hana said to him as she took his arm once more, smiling as she continued to walk with him towards her home, which wasn't really hers but it was rather unique. "You control your faith no one else does....the only things is if you want to take control on it or not." she said to him as she stopped in her tracks and looked aorund the area, something was slightly off, she didn't know what it was but there were certain places that were far more quieter then the rest of the forest.

A voice seemed to break the silence after everything had happened with the Templar collapsing. It was the man Liam, but he didnt seem to be concerned with his fallen comrade's well being. He seemed more concerned with calming down and following orders. Shiloh watched as he picked up her staff. With that her eyes narrowed and she looked at the ground angrily knowing that a mages best friend was their staff. Or at least it was to her and now he had taken it. She got up from the ground slowly as the commander didnt even seem concerned for the Templar's health. It disgusted her that these people could work together and yet none of them actually had any care for each other's well being.

The commander seemed to disappear in a room seemingly set up for the trials. Or at least that was the glimpse she had seen when the woman walked around the corner. Of course her attention turned back to the man who had her staff in hand. She would love to just get her hands on him but that was something that would be left up to chance. If the right chance came, she would take her staff and make all of the people do as she commanded, no matter the consequences. Unfortunately the man looked huge and strong, even though she had encountered that strength twice now.

In an almost desperate plea for help, the little mage looked at the other mage who was still holding the templar she had dropped on him. Her eyes literally said help me but she knew that he was in the same state she was in. Captured and almost drained of power. She could feel it in him. The first up for the trials. The first up to be taken down by the Templars. She didnt mind too much seeing how she had gotten so many mages out of being in the trials. To the mages, she would be a hero, but to herself, she was a disgrace. Her father had died to protect her and now look what she had done. She had gone against his wishes and freed so many others while doing so. Plunging herself into danger was not what her father wanted and she felt like his eyes were looking away from her in the heavens now. It was like he had left her from getting into trouble.

While standing there she realized that she was suppose to be watched by the evil templar that seemed to go berserk over anything she ever did. With wide eyes that made it seem like she didnt know what was going on, she looked at the man. A wonderful innocent look on her face, but she changed it quickly seeing how he could probably use that look as an excuse to get her into trouble or something. Thats what templars do. Or at least thats what she thinks they do.

Her thoughts were sad, but only thing that was on her mind was: Im the first to stand trial.... Im the first.

While Aelyn lay in the mage's arms, her mind far from being in the fore front and being in control, she actually seemed almost at peace. Her expression was a peaceful one that usually wasn't seen while she was awake and on duty, or really, when she was awake in general. Well, it was peaceful until her mind would be thrown into darkness, 'nightmares' as some would call them. Her brow would furrow and she would almost look like she was in pain; but that was only for a moment before she relaxed once again. She wasn't aware as to what was going on; she didn't know that trials were starting back up again or even that a mage, a creature she had always despised, was the one that was holding her at the moment.

Sephiroth narrowed his eyes and watched as the drow left. His gaze immediately flickered back to Shiloh. He caught her innocent expression, but it disappeared quickly. The beserker tapped the mage's arm with the staff, prodding her toward the trial room. "Move." They needed to head in. The sooner this was finished, the sooner the Templar could move on to hunt down the rogue mages that he longed to get to.

Naomi looked up from her garden when she heard Azadeth speak then said “Alright then”. She finished picking the vegetables and then stood up picking up the basket; she turned to Azadeth then said “Are you going to stay for diner?” She walked back over to the door and stood beside the door and waited for her to answer then walked into the house and placed the basket on the table. She walked back to the door and then picked up her staff walking back outside looking around she would normally practice her magic but she didn’t feel like it at the moment so she sat down in the middle of the clearing. She looked up at the sky and saw the clouds passing by.

When the man prodded her with her own staff she almost wanted to take if from him and cast a nasty spell. Not that she actually need the staff to cast the spell but it would be a nice weapon to have with her in case he had attacked her. Unfortunately, she needed to do what he said. He was big strong and willing to kill her and he loved to prove it in her eyes. She sighed and shook her head. Besides, if she actually behaved, she would be off the hook, or at least she hoped so. With a quick glance at the mage who held the stirring woman, she started to walk into the room the commander had walked into. It wasnt fun knowing that they would probably condemn her to a life long sentence of brainwashing or even just being put into a cage, or even the worst one of all, Death. But what was she going to do. It wasnt like she actually had a choice in the matter, though it was particularly odd how the commander had reacted a while ago to the name she had given her. Her fathers name seemed to have had a real affect on the woman. Maybe she knew something. Maybe he wasnt dead after all. Unfortunately, she wouldnt be able to find this out at this very moment. Her trial was about to start.

The trial room was nothing less than amazing. Maybe even freighting for someone standing trial. It was very grand, with dark. Figures stood around the room. A few of them could be scene, but the lights in the room were pointed towards the center, making it difficult for anyone standing under the lights to see the templars around the room. Stained glass windows also. Each one was very different from the others. Some told stories of a particular hero, while most told stories of the maker. One primary detail in the room was the large runes in the room which stopped any spells casted in, or even on the large room. Of coarse an assembly of Templars would take protective measures against this.

Lerieh stood behind a man in the center. Leaning down and whispering a few short words to him before he nodded. Lerieh took a step back. The man in the center stood. He had a very deep voice, almost grandfatherly. It was almost impossible to tell by his voice that he was an amazing warrior. He looked upon the mage as she entered the room. Sephiroth at her side.

"So this is the little troublemaker. I can not believe she is as you say Lerieh. But I suppose you can not judge a book by her cover, no?"

A stained glass window lighted Lerieh slightly. Mainly just her hair could be scene. Then again, not many Templars had white hair. Or were Elves. She was not supposed to speak durning the trial. Mainly because of her rank. But Lerieh tended to ignore most of the recent rules from the past one hundred years or so. Then again the Templars were much smaller then.

"Yes, threw training I believe she will be able to control her magic." What was Lerieh up to? Covering for the mage?

Sephiroth gladly led Shiloh to the middle of the room. It was standard procedure to leave the mage in the light - all could see her there, and she would be unable to see many of the faces watching. The position was partially a protective measure - a mage couldn't curse those who she couldn't spot - but it was meant for humiliation as well. The trial started, and the grand magister (if that was who was speaking) started to judge the girl he'd just brought in.
The silver-haired male let his eyes narrow threateningly as Lerieh spoke. What are you thinking? The Templar was . . . defending Shiloh. That was what it appeared to be. Hands clenching into fists, the male glowered at the drow across the room. No mage deserves life. Not after what they've done.
Unable to control himself, the Templar Knight hissed. "She deliberately attacked one of the Order. This mage started the riot." He wasn't quite sure if he was heard, but then again . . . did he need to be? It might be better if no one heard his hate-filled words.
The beserker crossed his arms over his thick chest and settled down. His anger was sparking - was it ever not? - as the trial continued. If this girl walks away unchanged, then this order has fallen farther than I would expect.

((:eager: SAM!! Can you reply to my PM? I think the trials would be a great setting to introduce my charry if you'll let me.))

((O.O WHA?! Defending a maleficar?! Now I am interested XD Oh the twists begin!))

Pulling herself away from the animals, Azadeth watched the girl for a moment; for such a hostess, she really did seem to be all over the place. The elf was interested though, seeing as it had been quite some time since she had seen others outside of the monastery. She thought about staying, yet she still wasn't sure about much. Staying in one place was never something that she was used to, and being around someone she didn't know made her even more skeptical about the idea. "I really do not want to impose on you," she replied calmly as she watched the girl take a seat in the middle of a nearby clearing. Walking closer to her, she then said, "But if you wish for me to stay, I will not object. I would just like to check the surrounding forest just to make sure things are as safe and as calm as you claim them to be."

((Ugh, I hate short posts... Hopefully inspiration will strike soon!))

Naomi looked up at Azadeth and smiled saying "Your not imposing", she looked back at the forest surrounding them saying "I would like you to stay for diner, it is least I can do for a fellow mage". She stood up and faced Azadeth then said "You can go out and look if you would like" she paused then continued "Umm if you get lost there are normally hand prints burned into the bark of trees". She held her hand up then said "Thumb is pointing away always and pinkey is always facing home" she smiled. Her mother had taught her this knowing that the forest was a very large place it was a good ting to help her from not getting lost. She turned around and faced the forest saying "Have fun, the forest is always a great place to enjoy life and relax", she turned back to Azadeth smiling. After Azadeth left Naomi was going to practice more magic she normally practiced more but today seemed to be a day filled with surprises.

Shiloh was pushed into the grand room. In the darkness she could see how grand it really was, but when she was pushed into the middle of the light by Sephiroth, she couldnt see a thing. Her tail wrapped itself around her leg and she looked back towards the exit as if wanting to run but decided against it. A man spoke through the darkness that surrounded the area of bright light and she could feel the stones power in the room making it so that she wouldnt be able to do magic in or on the room itself.

This man had a very soothing, grandfatherly voice. As her eyes adjusted to the light from being half cat, she noticed what the man looked like. He didnt look like a warrior at all. His features were smooth of course, but also through the sound of his voice, she just couldnt imagine him being the warrior he should be from his position in the trial. He noticed the same thing about her. Or at least thats what she had though until Lerieh spoke. She was defending the girl. Now why would this Templar risk so much by defending her if she hated the little neko so much.

Sephiroth was also trying to figure out the same thing. Why was his commander helping a mage? He hated the mages so she didnt think that he would understand why she was defending him. Oh well. They would find out soon enough.

((I had to come up with something since in reality we couldn't kill her. Or Daeman would be out a character xD))

"That she did. But if even Mage doesn't work out. Then Tranquil."
Lerieh said to everyone. Tranquil probably being one of the worst punishments one could ask for. It would kill her connection to their powers, and she would loose all emotions. She pretty much would be a walking husk.

The older man in front of her nodded to Sephiroth. Then heard Lerieh behind him. Her would prefer to turn every mage that came threw Tranquil. Or kill them. But that was not how things were done. She would be put threw the classes in the tower. It took a lot of courage to attack an entire room filled with Templars. He looked to his sides at two others sitting to his left and right.

"She will begin Apprenticeship as soon as the trials are over. Be warned young one, you must follow the rules how they are written. No use of Magic without a mentor or Templar's permission. Magic is meant to serve man, and never rule over it..."
He went on and on with a rather large list of rules, "Any question of blood magic and you will be terminated or made into a tranquil right away. Ms Selona, please lead her to her room. Bring the next mage(Kane) in." The old man asked. Sitting back down.

Sephiroth took a slow breath, closing his eyes and blocking out the world for a moment. If he didn't, then he would let his emotions overwhelm him. She will be watched over. Don't worry yourself about this. It was hard to watch Lerieh take Shiloh from the room without batting an eye. Instead of standing still and watching the outcome of the later trials, Sephiroth chose to leave.
-

((ENTER ANOTHER CHARRY!!! :eager:))

The trials were intense - it was the perfect time for deception. Perhaps a bit of backstabbing was necessary. A cloaked figure stood amongst a few of the observers as Shiloh was judged. A light glow came from the man's hand before he pulled it into the folds of his cloak. Almost time. He was waiting for a specific trial - Jessica Creed. Certainly she would be called forward sooner or later. Then again. . . .
Glancing toward the doorway, the figures pupil-less eyes scanned over the many mages outside. There were so many. . . .

Shiloh looked up to the stage of people above her who seemed to judge her to be fit for the classroom. Her facial language suggested that she was confused about what was going on. Technically she was still slightly hallucinating due to the fact that she could feel some kind of magic in the room besides the shield against magic. She started to look around trying to figure out who it was coming from. WHen she looked into the crowd of people watching the trial she saw a flash of something. Light maybe, but it was gone before she could figure it out. If there was a mage in that crowd, why didnt he/she try to help her? Why was he/she allowing them to take her? The person was a mage, or at least she thought he/she was. Even she at least had tried to help people like her. Then again, it could just be a hallucination like she thought it was.

Sephiroth didnt seem to like the fact that they had kept her alive when she looked at him. The commander that forced her to be the first on trial came over and started to make her move to where she wanted her to go. The problem was she had forgotten all the rules the man had stated, only because she wasnt actually listening at the time. The only part she remembered was not being allowed to use blood magic or else she would be turned tranquil or killed. Oh well. She didnt mind having to go to school. To tell the truth all she wanted was to see her father but that wasnt going to happen from what she could tell. When Lerieh started to move her she backed up and grabbed at her staff, pulling out of Sephiroths hand just before he left and then allowed herself to be forced into the direction towards her "room."

Azadeth nodded shortly, regardless to what the girl said she was still having a hard time in being around others and not under the care of the monastery. She couldn't go back though; she had been caught in the Templar quarters when she should have been with the Lord, she was going to be in a lot of trouble whenever she was caught. Without another word the girl then turned and began walking deeper into the woods, or so she had speculated. She wasn't paying much attention to the hand prints, though she did keep in mind what Naomi had said about them.

Everything was peaceful, just as the girl had said. A slight sigh escaped from her lips as she lowered her head. It had been years since the girl had returned to nature, she thought she would have been happy and ecstatic about it, not running for her life like she had been doing. Azadeth normally wasn't the worrying type, but knowing what she did about both the situation and the girl she couldn't be too careful.

Lifting her head up to the sky she wondered how the young Templar was doing. It was foolish to let her mind wander in such a manner, but after all, she had been curious about him when she had gotten in trouble. She wondered if he even knew about her feelings; granted she hadn't told anyone, but she had written them down and the Templar traffic through the mage quarters was high. She only hoped that none of them could read traditional Elvish, granted, many of her kind couldn't even read such a thing.

It was cool. Almost too cool. Against flesh, it was perfect, though. It brought little shudder to his body. As it moved down into the toes, the male kicked lightly. The ripple effect from the tremor below the surface seemed to ease the male into a much lighter mood.

Perhaps it had been far too long since the male had last done something for himself or perhaps it was just the exhaustion setting in, either way, his eyes began to close. It didn't help that the lapping sounds of water against freshly polished rocks could be heard. And the light cooing of birds singing lullabies to the setting sun was the icing on the cake.

Peace. That was what filled the world. Calmness overcame his sore body. A body that was pierced with not only cuts and scars, but with memories and pains that would never fade. A quivering hand splashed some water up on his nose. This action immediately caused the male to jump out of the water.

Standing there, the blue haired male looked across the water. As it started to brown from the soil that was just kicked up by his hasty retreat, the male frowned. The bath was over.

Reaching out behind where he stood, he groped for the clothing he had placed on the tree. When his fingers continued to miss the danging silk clothing, he growled. His head whipped around to spy... absolutely nothing!

Nothing.

"NOTHING!" Eyes enlarging (might I add to twice their normal size), the pale blue haired male began to pout. "Great. Now I get to wander about the forest naked. That'll be great. I'll probably run into a snake..." looking down at his body, he frowned.

The warmth from the air was comforting. At least it wasn't cold, he said with a smile on his face.

Something flickered from behind the lake. Eyes narrowing, as if to focus on it, he nearly exploded with pure bliss. His outfit. It was there. It was a simple walk, too.

Moving toward it, the male smiled when he finally had his hands on the fine fabric. Dressing from bottom up, the young male topped off his look with a flowing cloak. When the wind picked it up and danced it about, he turned his head toward what he believed to be noise. More specifically, talking.

His dagger laid before him in the white sand and were all too temping to recover. Bending, he scooped them into their rightful place -- his fingers.

Stepping from side to side, he moved down a path that was traveled by the beasts of the planet. Skipping, he back flipped into a tree and decided to stalk his prey from above. Pushing the tree leaves from his view, the male fixed his eyes on what appeared to be a lonely pair of mages who he would later find out to be Azadeth and Naomi.

His eyes didn't detect anything deadly about them, nor did his other five senses. Rattling the leaves from the tree to create a distraction, the male flung himself into the air. Gracefully flipping about in the clear air, he watched for the right moment to plant his feet on the approaching ground.

...

Skilled beyond believe, the male landed without a sound before the two woman. As there heads shot toward the tree he used to reside in, the blue haired crossed his arms over his chest.

"Halt. State your names and purpose. These woods fall under my jurisdiction. If you have not received royal approval, I shall not allow you to... ohhh, a butterfly!"

His violet colored eyes traced the path the fluttering creature made. As it moved toward him, he let out a giddy giggle. Flapping slower now, the butterfly took refuge on his forehead.

"Ohhhhh, pretty! I wanna turn into a butterfly now." Just as he was about to frown, the male's eyes snapped toward the females. "Well, spit it out. Who are you? What do you want? And where are you going? And, depending on your answer, I will have no choice but to escort you." Raising a finger to the girls (as if he knew they would protest), he wiggled it back and forth. "Complain, and I will paint a canvas with your blood."
