I heard it last week. Not a bad song. It's for sure better than her last few singles. I actually found myself wanting to listen to this one.

I've read rumors that it was written for her grandfather's passing or something similar.

I'm really liking this one. Maybe I'll get it at some point. (Maybe when Glee covers it? That's when I seem to get a lot of songs haha.)

I like the somewhat nostalgic feel when I listen to this song. It greatly reminds me of Celine Dione...or Cher... :I

Sounds more generic... but it is a LOT better than the other two. I would actually stand listening to this one.

Verdict: I love the sax actually, I really wish she could get rid of the dubstep-ish stuff in the first chorus run. But other than that, this sounds great... but a bit too much like something I've already heard.

It's okay... I actually like "Judas" better, though.

Her newest song, Hair, reminds is just as generic if not more so. =/ Eh...I guess do what you can to survive the industry. It's still annoying that she doesn't use =the full extent of her talents.

Yeah, I wasn't too found of Hair. It was just kind of blah to me. I'm not too sure why they released that when Edge of Glory and Judas were released recently. O.o;

I know. That's why I was like o.O But I looked it up and it seems her entire album comes out next monday, May 23rd. They're trying to build hype.

To me...I dunno...I know I'm going to get shot for this, but I really hate "Hair." There isn't a single redeeming quality of it for me. It's probably going to end up being some cult group's theme song, though. :lol:

Is this song actually about how a haircut changed her life? because that's how the first verse sounded to me... O.o Or is it about how her parents tried to control every aspect of her life? That's a far better message, but maybe there was a better way to convey it? The song sounds like a pretty bad quality version though. Maybe there's a better version out there. I prefer Edge of Glory though.

That's its main channel on Youtube. They pretty much control all of Youtube's music, now...at least for the United States.

Weird. Clearly I'm not on youtube enough. Though the video on their homepage wasn't authorised for viewing in my country.

Hair honestly isn't as bad as the first two singles in the background music, but I still hate it. It's sort of that weird mix between Edge of Glory and another one. "I'm as free as my hair" honestly sounds silly, and it comes across kinda childish, and honestly kind of like a parody of itself.

Who names a song "Hair" anyway?

Also to the side discussion of Youtube, Vevo really sucks. But then again, it's better than having one channel at least providing the videos to not watch, instead of having every single music video of something completely without sound or not available due to the fucking record companies not understanding the concept of "if people listen, they might like it." I'd honestly rather go anywhere but youtube to get my samples for listening anyway, unless I'm sharing it with people. Half due to Vevo, half due to the sometimes poor quality and crap like that outside of Vevo.

She has one named "Teeth" too. O.o; I still love "Teeth" but it is a weird song none the less. Hair to me seems like she didn't even try on it. I honestly couldn't think of anything good about it either.

Hair sounds very much like some other song I've heard a thousand times before. I really don't like it, other than the fact that it has some sax in it, and sax is sadly underrated these days as are all other brass instruments.

That's all I care about about Vevo: it has all the music videos in relatively good quality. And @Carzee: Yeah. That's what I thought. It must be a pretty American thing, and that's why your life hasn't been infiltrated by it.

On a side note...after listening to all of Teeth through writing this message...it's one of the worst songs I've ever heard. >.>

Yeah, "Teeth" is off of Fame Monster. For some reason I thought it was off her first album until you said that. I have everything on shuffle though so I don't pay that much attention to albums. XD I just thought that it was funny she wrote a song about showing teeth.

Hair is amazing! The entire album already leaked (yesterday, I think). What do you guys think of the album?
