I don't know how much interest this will generate, but there have been so many things that have come back on TV lately including D.W, and It's brought back all my old Fanfiction neediness!

So here's the list! Also, please don't kill me if I request anything that hurts your brains!

The 11th Doctor x Rory (MASSIVE LOVE)
The 11th Doctor x Amy
The 11th Doctor x an OC (This would have to be your character)

Doctor/Rory huh? Haven't seen that one before. It's definitely new. Not sure exactly how that'd work though with Amy there or instead of her being his wife would she be like a sister-figure to both of them? I could maybe see that working.
I'm actually quite surprised that Jack isn't on the list :cry: :cry: :cry: I still can't watch CoE without crying my eyes out.

I don't know quite how I got into it actually...I think I came across something someone else had written about them both and it was so good, I got hooked.

Well I had the same sort of idea as you where she was more a close friend to them both, or even where for...some reason...she had left Rory and the Doctor had to pick up the pieces.

I'm happy to do whatever you're happiest with. Honestly I'm just thrilled to bits that someone was interested.

You know if you go to the request part again there's a group Doctor Who that we're working on. You'd fit right in I think. ;)

Anyway, back to this present RP. I'd be willing to give Doctor/Rory a go at least. It might be interesting. Will we double up character wise so taht we're each playing two characters or so? That way it'll help move the story along so taht it's not just the Doctor and Rory so we can get more characters involved. That'll make the RP more interesting ne?

(and annoyed cuz I can't watch the latest Doctor Who since my little sister isn't home and she'll throw a hissy-fit if we watch it without her...-grumbles-)

I haven't seen the new one yet either. I know tiny bits of it, but I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow night or something...It's driving me mad.

I'm happy to double up characters, It helps me make sure I can write at least something good. That way if one of the characters isn't being very interesting, the other can be. Do you know which one of the pair you would prefer to be? I don't really mind either way.

I know the feeling. I haven't even watched the Doctor Who Confidential cuz I don't want spoilers but I do know one thing. NIEL GAIMAN IS WORKING WITH THEM!!!!!!!!! One of my friends is a HUGE fan of his books and from what I've heard her read out he's brilliant so I'm really hoping the episode is good!

I think I might be better at playing the Doctor rather than Rory. Now as for doubling up...I'm debating whether to maybe bring Jack into it. I mean I could see him and Amy comspiring to get the Doctor and Rory together behind the two's backs or something. That could be rather interesting and then we could maybe make it a double-up and maybe try adn pair Jack with Amy. That could be quite interesting, maybe she could try and heal him after the whole thing with Ianto or something.

Well, In that case I'm more then happy to play Rory, and If you would like to bring Jack into it then I'm totally up for it. ^_^ I'll play Amy if you would like to, I don't want to end up messing up Jack's character. Also, I love the idea of them two being in on it. I love things like that, It makes me feel really sneaky.

Well, I'll head over and see If there's any space for me. I like to have as much going on at once anyway. I'm really excited for this though. :)

(Great! This sounds like it'll be really fun! I'd be more than happy to play Jack! Just a warning there'll need to be some character-healing with Jack since this isn't too far after he lost Ianto so Amy, Rory and The Doctor are gunna need to put him back together a little. Not too much thoush since we don't wanna completely push The Doctor and Rory out of this. We need a nice balance to get this to work.
Now when should this be set? Obviously in either this season or the last but without the whole Amy and Rory are married thing? Maybe after the whole Pandorica incident so...how about if we set it just after the pirate episode since neither of us has seen the latest ep?

Yeah, I actually love the whole healing thing. It gives a really good reason for characters to start to talk to each other and to get to know each other. I like having the two sort of character plots going on, where Amy is trying to heal Jack, and Rory and the Doctor are being sneakily pushed together.

I'm happy to have it set after the Pirate one as well, that seems to make the most sense. That was a weird episode, but I thought it was nice that they had one that was just a bit of fun. Also, pirates are awesome!

I didn't realise you were in the same time zone! Yeah, that really is a good thing. I get really annoyed that I'll get into something and then I'll either have to stay up until 6 in the morning to get a reply, or I'll have to go on at really weird times.

Yup! We will be being very sneaky about it! Plus it gives the Doctor and Rory a reason to spend more time together if Amy adn Jack are getting close...wouldn't you agree -insert Jack-like leer here-

Oh yes! I loved the episode! The pirates really weren't that scary but it was interesting seeing their take on teh siren myth and seeing Amy with a sword was BRILLIANT!!!!!!! I loved watching her train in the episode of Doctor Who Confidential that was on later. I SO envy her getting to swing about the deck of the ship! How amazing would that be? Captain Pond to the rescue! -grins- sounds almost as cool as Captain Harkness...almost. Captain Amelia Pond and Captain Jack Harkness...has a bit of a ring to it, wouldn't you say?

Exactly! Different timezones can be really annoying! I love having contact with different people, especially people taht're into the same things as me, but it's still so frustrating when we're on at awkward times and we keep missing each other.

Awww! They have so much in common! They both like men, they both like to travel. They're both pirates. X3 God, they're too good together! I love it when they go to strange places that are on earth. I love it when they go to space as well, but I think that when it's humans and earth that's going to be effected, it seems much more dangerous.

Is there anything else that we need to talk about or shall we make a thread to fill with our amazing ideas! ^_^

Okay so...let's recap. We'll be doing an RP with a Doctor/Rory and an Amy/Jack pairing. We'll have Jack in need of healing and Amy will do that while at the same time the two will be playing match-maker with Rory and the Doctor after the pirate episode. (Maybe toss around the nickname Captain Pond a couple of times for fun) I think that's about everything.

By the way, fun little extra. I was on fanfiction.net earlier and pretty much EVERY time I turned to a fanfiction about Jack the song 'Peacock' by Katy Perry would come up on my playlist! It's creepy! It's like my computer can sense Jack's presense adn atunes itself to it!!!!!! Creepy!!!!!!

This just sounds too awesome! ^_^ I've been tossing around the idea for a little while, but I thought that it wouldn't be that popular. I've had a few people get annoyed when I try and do things with Doctor Who pairing actually. O-o

Do you mind making it? I'm just trying to get a few things finished. That and I'm terrible at naming threads...I just sit there for ages trying to think of something. I'm normally okay with everything else, just that totally stumps me. ^_^

I don't get why people get annoyed. Everyone has their own opinion of things and that's perfectly fine. Personally one of my all time favourite pairings iN Doctor Who is 10th Doctor/Jack but I don't see many of those fics around which annoys me to no end but I think that the idea we've managed to somehow come up with will be a really interesting RP! I can't wait to get started with this!

Ah...the dreaded title. I know what you mean. It can be pretty tricky. I eventually gave up on trying to make a witty title for my new request thread and finally just settled on "I spy with my little eye something beginning with..." cuz I couldn't think of anything better. I'll come up with something though and I don't mind starting the thread. I can set the scene with teh Doctor in the TARDIS and Jack somewhere on earth hurting after the whole thing with Ianto. We'll just say the year is 2011 to keep things simple for now and can get more complicated later.

Yes my computer is very clever! It is creepy but clever! The first time it happened I'm pretty sure I gaped like a fish. The SECOND time it happened I was practically freaking out. The THIRD time it happened I got used to it. Still pretty weird/cool though!
Okay, back to business. I'll get the thread underway!

Oh god, I hate it when I completely fall in love with a pairing or an idea and there's nothing online for it. I wouldn't mind if things weren't popular, or the internet was tiny. I think some people just don't like to share what they write. It's a shame!

Yeah, if we keep things simple to start off with then we can sort everything out and get into it before there's more complicated things to think about. Sometimes It's really hard for me to get my head around how complicated Doctor who can be. The TARDIS alone is about 4 million rooms big or something stupid, and there's all those buttons and wires that don't apparently do anything.

I had this weird thing for a while were if I plugged my laptop in to charge, the radio in our lounge would stop being able to pick up any signal. I had fun for ages annoying people by taking the charger in and out and they thought the radio was haunted. :3

I think I got a little carried away with the first post but I really couldn't help it. It just sort of...came out. Well the part with Jack was actually already written. I've got a crossover idea for Torchwood/Bleach and that was the tiny part I'd had written but I think it works well for the beginning of this so I used it. Hope that's okay. The Doctor's part was completely off teh top of my head though. Anyways, hope you like it!

I know what you mean. It's sad when there really isn't enough of a pairing out there but a lot of people seem to like it. It's rather frustrating.

Yes Doctor Who can be VERY complicated! But as the 10th Doctor said in teh Weeping Angels episode 'Blink'

"Most people think that time is linear when in reality it's a great big ball of wibbly-wobbly...timey-whimey...stuff"

(Or something like that anyway. I got the wibbly-wobbly...timey-whimey part right at least! Love that line! Loved that episode actually! Brilliantly scary!)

I love how the Doctor knows about as much as we do. What do the buttons in the TARDIS do? Who knows? Can he explain what he's doing? Not a chance! :3

OHMIGOSH I LOVE THE TITLE! It really made me laugh, I think it's awesome.

I think both of the parts are wonderful too by the way. I'm going to have to run off and write mine now too. ^_^

That's half the fun! The Doctor's just such an amazing character! The 10th will probably always be my favourite but the 11th isn't too bad.

-grins- Glad I did something right. I just remembered our conversation about Captain Pond and it sort of worked, plus Rory's a nurse so...ironic right? The Doctor and the Nurse ;)

Have fun writing? Did I do Jack's part okay? I think I did. I think he's definitely broken enough for them to try and put back together. -sniff- I hate doing this to him but he'll be fixed!

I really liked Jack's part. It showed how upset he was, but also that he's still able to think and look after himself. Don't worry, you're doing it for his own good! ^_^

Okay, I finished I just have to post it. I always write them on Word or something, I keep going back a page or something if I write it online and loose it all. If there's anything I need to change or add in, just let me know.

Smart move. That's what I did when I set up my RP request thread. It took me ages to get it the way I wanted it on Word and then I just had to copy and paste it into the thread text bos and add some colour to make it look a little nicer. CDolour is always nice!
