Shea froze the moment the Prince pulled away. Waiting a few seconds once the other had sat up, he slowly followed suit, an expression of obvious concern, and nervousness, flickering over his face. However, the genie hesitated to speak as he remained seated on the bed, watching his Master as the man dressed hurriedly. The other’s short, firm reply was enough to tell him not to push the subject any further and he bowed his head slightly, remaining perfectly silent.
Once the other asked him a question though, Shea swiftly nodded, recalling the expression the butler had worn as they’d passed, and the smart clothes that had immediately displayed his station within the household. As he carefully stood up, he felt a slight sting of pain at his lower back, wincing somewhat. A few seconds later though the pain had vanished as the cool blue spark ran swiftly across his skin, removing the pain. Sometimes being a genie really did have its uses.
Already though he could feel the tug of the other’s wish and his fingers snapped in automatic response to his Master’s words. Soon his lack of clothes had been replaced with a white, if misty grey shirt, near black, navy blue jacket and trousers with smart black shoes on his feet that made him wish once more he didn’t have to wear such things. “Is...Is this suitable Master?”
