"No... I just... can't." Robin shrugged as if it was no big deal.

"ok." Lateshia just left that subject alone and contiued to walk. Finally they made it to Subway. "Wait here." Lateshia ran inside and came back out with a bunch of food."Here you go." She handed his a turkey sub and a bag full of other stuff." Let's go find a place to eat." Lateshia said as she went under a big oak tree an sat down.

Robin followed her to the oak tree. The instant he sat down, he opened the bag and unwrapped the turkey sub, stuffing it into his mouth and chewing ravenously.

Lateshia watched him eat his sub sandwich and laughed."Wow, you must be really hungry." Lateshia muttered under her breath."So how do you like it?" She asked Robin.

Robin swallowed the chunk of food that he had been chewing on. "It's delicious! Thanks so much!" He took another bite out of the sub.

Lateshia shook her head with a pleasureful face," Well good. Cause I gotta call my parents now."Lateshia took out a pink ipone and called her father, because he was the head of the house. She got up from the tree and went to another spot so, she could talk to her parents in private," Be right back, Robin."

"Okay," Robin called after her quietly, finishing up his sub. He rustled through the bag and pulled out a bag of kettle chips and began to devour those.

Lateshia stood around the corner, to talk to her father. Her father was a very strict man and didn't get along with most people."Hey dad. Um I have a huge favor to ask...." those were the first words she said to her father as he listened to what she had to say. When the conversation between her and her father was done she walked over to Robin with a somewhat sad face and sat back down beside him."My father said you can stay with us, but," Lateshia put her legs up to her chest and put her head between them."You have to pretend that you are my boyfriend, when we are in public. Because," Lateshia turned her head away from Robin."He doesn't want people to know that we adopted you. He is not supposed to have another child, and if someone finds out 'they' will kill him." Lateshia turned her head back to RObin and looked him in the eyes," Are you ok with that?"

Robin blinked, staring at his chip bag for a long moment, contemplating this deal. Finally, he turned to Lateshia with a large smile. "Of course! Only... I don't know how to pretend that you're my girlfriend, since I never had any girlfriends..." He blushed a bit, eating a chip to hide how nervous he was.

"Well, then I'm going to have to help you out with that,"She paused for a moment when she seen a man walking toward them."Hey Robin, Um one of 'them' is walking over to us right now, so act normal or at least don't do anything weird to upset him." Lateshia whispered to Robin, as the man came closer and then finally stood up in front of them.

"So what have you been up to my daring?" The man said as he bent down and kissed Lateshia on the cheek.His name was Martin and he was one of 'them'. Lateshia began to blush, because that was very unexpected."I'm would be doing better if you didn't have to kept,'checking' up on me." Lateshia looked over at Robin then back at Martin," His name is Robin and he's my boyfriend." She knew this would tick Martin off because he wanted her and no one else.


Martian stood up and looked down at her, he was not pleased at all. He wanted to beat the boy named Robin up but that wouldn't be seemly at the time."Well, I'll leave you be for now." Those were the last words he said before he walked off.

Lateshia looked at Robin and said,"We have to go now. We need to go home before he brings other people with him." Lateshia stood up and waited for Robin.

Robin looked confused. "Okay," He said, licking the salt off his fingers and grabbing the rest of his food, standing up. "He seemed like a nice enough person, though," He said innocently.

Lateshia laughed and said," He seems nice." she Called her butler to pick them and and when he got there she said to Robin,"Come on. Get in." Lateshia said as she got into the car.

Robin gaped at the car. It was so big. "T-this is your car?" He stammered, cautiously following her into it.

"Yeah it's nothing. This is going to be my car when I get old enough." Lateshia said as she rubbed the seat of the Rolls Royce.Lateshia looked up form where she was and seen Martian with a couple of other guys around him, coming towards the car. Laetshia had to think fast, she didn't want Robin to get hurt, because they were coming with weapons. So she leaned over and began to kiss Robin. Martian put his hand out in front of the others to let them know to stop.He was verydispleased but he had to walk away. Then Lateshia stopped kissing Robin."Sorry about that."

Robin stared at her with wide eyes. "W-w-what was that?" He stammered, blushing wildly.

Lateshia put her hair behind ears and looked forward."Driver please go now." The driver drove off and then Lateshia looked at Robin."i'm sorry." She began to blush, Lateshia didn't want to tell about what would have happened if she didn't do it.

"Um... that's okay... why, though...?" Robin asked timidly.

Lateshia turned and face the back of the car window. She could still see Martin standing on the side walk. "That's why." She pointed to Martin. Then she sat down back in her chair. "And plus you don't kiss that bad."

Robin's blush deepened. "Er, thanks..." He stared at Martin. "But, uh, who is that, and what does he have to do with us kissing?" He asked.

Lateshia signed,"That was Martin. If I didn't kiss you he would have came and beaten you to death. Then drag you body to a dump where it can not be found. Martin know better then to mess with me if I had a boyfriend. He has this kind of rule about it..." She paused and got herself some water."It's a long story."

"Oh... well, okay." Robin still looked confused, but he decided to just let it slide. He was pretty sure he wasn't going to ge a better answer out of her anyways, considering she just said it was a long story. Usually when people said that something is a long story, that meant that they didn't want to talk about it.
