Piper
Synopsis:
Piper is the twin sister to Jai'kar, and a firebender. Their parents died when they were young, so they've only ever really known the nomadic lifestyle.
Description:
Piper is a petite, tomboyish girl. She wears her hair shorter than most girls, preferring the ease of taking care of it over the style. She stands at around four feet tall and weighs roughly fifty-seven pounds. Her hair is coal-black and she has golden eyes, typical of most firebenders. She usually wears a
sun charm that hangs from the top of her hair to the right, a gift from the Sun Warriors. Her face is often described as being heart-shaped, with a button nose in the center.
Personality:
Piper's personality is more like a waterbender's than a firebender's. She's usually very quiet, though she can be obnoxious, and she tries to avoid arguments, but she's not afraid to speak her mind when necessary. It usually takes quite a lot to make Piper angry, but it's not impossible. She's also your typical tomboy, and hates girly things like skirts and makeovers.
Equipment / Abilities:
Piper is pretty much a master firebender. Her firebending utilizes more defensive moves than most, including the dance of the dragons. She carries around a long dagger to use with her fire, a great channel for the fire. Her fire is white, however, strange for firebenders. It burns even underwater, though it will eventually fizzle out. Unlike blue fire, it doesn't really possess a concussive force, though it can under the right circumstances.
History:
Piper and her brother raised themselves, as their parents were killed when they were little. They've been all over the world and have trained with the best. While journeying through the fire nation, Piper and Jai'kar stumbled upon the Sun Warriors, who taught Piper firebending after she and Jai'kar passed the Dance of the Dragons, something no waterbender has ever done, other than Jai'kar.
They're now journeying through the Earth Kingdom and helping out when they can.
Extra:
Due to an accident when she was little, Piper has urinary incontinence. The Sun Warriors also gave her her mount, a adolescent dragon, one of Rin and Shaw's children.
Jai'kar
Synopsis:
Jai'kar is the twin brother to Piper and a waterbender. Their parents died when they were little, so all they've ever really known was the nomadic lifestyle.
Description:
Like his sister, Jai'kar has coal-black hair that he wears short, only giving enough for a warrior's wolf-tail on the nape of his neck. Unlike his sister, he has silver eyes and is a bit larger. He stands at five foot three and weighs one hundred sixty-three pounds. Around his neck he wears
a necklace that he earned by hunting five wolves while he trained in the Southern Water Tribe.
Personality:
Jai'kar is typically loud and cheery, always having a joke on hand. His fighting style resembles firebending more than waterbending due to the explosive strikes he throws at his opponent. He's an extremely laid-back, yet passionate person. He devotes himself entirely to his goal. When it comes to his sister, he is also pretty protective, fighting various people who had made fun of her.
Equipment / Abilities:
Jai'kar is considered a master waterbender, or close to it. He is extremely versatile in his bending, able to bend plants, and draw moisture from the air. He can also manipulate animals, but not completely unless the full moon is out. He possesses a katana which he uses in collaboration with his bending to great effect. He's also handy with a bow, though he prefers close-quarters combat.
History:
After training with the Sun Warriors, Piper and Jai'kar flew to the Southern Water Tribe, where Jai'kar began training under the Chief. That's where he passed the test to get his warrior's wolf-tail, as well as the necklace, which Piper crafted for him. They were there quite a bit longer than they had been in the Fire Nation, but that gave Jai'kar time to learn to heal with his bending.
