Angil sighed and held her head in her hand. What was up with everyone wanting Virsat to drink their blood. Then she thought about Virsat bearing his teeth and bringing his lips to her neck. A strange feeling came about her and her cheeks became slightly rosy. She shook her head to clear it. Anyways, try not to make a habit of it. You promised my brother that would would protect me if needed. You cant do that if you are already injured. She turned about and bowed her head. Oh and when you have time, can you come talk with me. I have something I would like to talk to you about.

(I better help him with that temper)
Regina could sense Jadins heightened anger after having a knife thrown at him for some reason she didn't know. Closing her eyes and focusing on him for a second she made a small attempt to calm his anger with her mind.

Yuuichi nods his head a bit at the thought of Angil's brother. "Aye, I did promise him that I would protect you. And yes, being injured makes that a bit more difficult. But Angil, in the short time you have known me, when have you seen my judgement be bad?" His ears pique a bit in interest as she says she needs to talk to him, but isn't forthcoming at the moment. "We have always been open Angil, why not speak with me of it now? Or is this something you wish Kiya not to hear?" He watches her confused, not used to her having secrets from him.

Angil bowed her head a little. Its nothing against your friend. I-I'm just unsure of it. Can you meet me in my room for a moment. To be truthful she was quite scared. That..other side of herself. She has never known it before and it actually felt....powerful. She held herself a little and walked towards the door to head off to her room.

Yuuichi nods his head to her before looking at Kiya. "Angil, I will be with you in a few moments, even though you know I don't like the idea of anything being secretive. Just give me a little time, and we will speak." He lays his head back against the wall, the alcohol starting to hit him full force now, his mind in a whirl. Staring at the ceiling for a short time, he closes his eyes, the feeling of the room moving making him a bit ill. "I knew better....but that was the only way to make the pain a bit more tolerable."

Virsat had flinched slightly at all the anger rolling off of Jaden. He had flinched when the knife flew past them, drawing back just slightly, as if he expected another one..one aimed for him. Too much. There was too much going on. He couldn't really sort everything out anymore. There was the hunger, the scent of blood all around him, teasing him. Beckoning him and then there was the anger. Not his anger, Jaden's anger. It frightened Virsat, almost more than the thought of losing control and killing everyone. He was shaking his head.
Virsat whined softly. A pitiful noise that gently erupted from his throat. "...Outside...Please....Please I want to go outside..." His hands were still on Jaden, but his grip had loosened considerably. His crimson eyes glowed and he was still fighting the urge to give in to his hunger. Virsat's hands fell from Jaden as he stepped back, away from the neko. Tears once again ran down his face and he looked as if Jaden had just slapped him, really hard. It had been a verbal slap.
"Yuuichi brought it to me in a glass.....I didn't realize until I'd tasted it....I'm so sorry. I wouldn't have taken it if I'd known...I'm sorry!" Virsat's body shook, trembled almost violently. "...I don't....I don't want to hurt anyone....I'm sorry!" Virsat didn't understand, why was Jaden mad at him for not biting the neko? Why was Jaden so mad because he didn't want to hurt him? Virsat's head felt like it was swimming. There were deer outside, somewhere..he could hunt them. Why wouldn't Jaden let him out to hunt? "...Please...." There was pleading in his voice and in his eyes.

Angil bowed her head and went off to her room. She sat on the bed. Its understandable. He is with a lady friend. She blushed a little. I dont think I have ever seen him with a girl before. He looked really happy. She laid down on the bed and sighed. I wonder what it feels like to like a person. I dont think I have had anyone that close to me. Well no one other than my brother and Yuu-kun. But I dont think those feelings are the same. She rolled over onto her side and closed her eyes. I guess I will take a nap while I wait.

(Finally! I know how to bring Sofia back in! Jaden’s anger isn’t completely pointless! Also sorry Kry and Vir, I just couldn’t shake the feeling that Jaden was a little too perfect…oh well fixed that now. :D)
Sofia was awakened by several loud sounds from below. Blinking sleepily she sat up her ears straining to make sense of the entire ruckus. When she finally realized the sound for voices her body tensed and she sat up further the fright thrumming through her. Loud voices, angry voices…That could only mean one thing. She’d been found! They were going to drag her back to that retched place they called home! Trembling she sat there listening for a few more moments before she one voice ring out louder than the others. It was loud and angry but at the same time it was familiar. Something she’d heard when she was a little girl..Her brow creased softly in thought as she slipped out of bed and stealthily crept towards the door. Only she didn’t stop there once she’d opened the door and peeked outside to see if was safe to enter the hallway she’d quickly and quietly done so making her way towards the stairs.
When she’d reached the top of the stars her eyes stared down at the chaos occurring her gaze immediately drawn to the owner of the voice that had seemed so familiar to her. At the moment the owner’s face was twisted into an angry snarl his ears laying flat on his skull as he chewed out the person in front of him. Her mind foggily concluded that this was the timid vampire from the previous night before she let her attention jump back to the neko. She knew him..she’d heard his voice and seen his face. Only he’d always been kind to her. A little rambunctious, a bit stubborn with his ways but never a bad guy, she remembered his personality and she even recognized his face. So why couldn’t she remember his name?! She continued to watch the unfolding scene down below before it finally hit her. Jaden, his name was Jaden. Growing up he’d been her…friend. Yes friend was the word. He’d actually been more like an older brother but a friend all the same. Even from her hiding spot up stairs she could hear the vampire’s pitiful whimper and it went right through her. She didn’t feel like he was acting, heck she couldn’t even say she feel scared of him right now. She just felt so bad for him…
Without thinking Sofia flew down the stairs pausing to grab and abandoned broom out of the corner before she hurried forward for her tiny figure between the vampire and the neko her green eyes glaring up defiantly at the neko as she brandished her broom. ”Leave him alone you big bully!” she spat with as much bravado as she dared. Because even so some part of her had seemed to recognize the neko there was still another larger more frightened part that wasn’t sure she was right. What if she was wrong? What if he was one of Rodger’s men come to take her back? She could feel her courage rapidly draining away but that stop her form brandishing her broom and jabbing the rounded wooden tip into the neko’s chest. ”I s-said leave him alone.” she repeated a soft stammer entering her voice as she looked up at the taller neko.
Virsat’s pitiful pleas weren’t doing anything for Jaden. On the one hand he did feel just a little guilty, but on the other hand he was just fed up with how Virsat was so afraid of everyone! Hadn’t he been here long enough to see that no one would hurt him?! And if t hey did it wasn’t intentionally done but accidentally?! Where was that vampire strength, that personal vampire attitude that could make their prey tremble with one heated glare? He’d vampire’s who seemed to have more than their fair share of it and yet he’d never met a vampire who seemed to completely lack this attitude. Until now. ”Fine. You want to go outside? You can, but you have to go through me. I’m not saying you have to hit me or shove me out of the way. Just don’t stand there and apologize or act all polite. Be mean about it. Order me around. I’m just some wimpy little neko. You’re a vampire-although that’s hard to believe right now..show it to me.” he challenged lifting his single eye up to meet Virsat’s terrified gaze. By this point his anger had drained away, if anything he seemed to be pretty placid.
Inwardly, Jaden supposed he should have been worried about his sudden calmness. He had a temper, he knew that but it’d never been of the violent sort. It’d been more of the loud, get in one face type. So if anything he was more known for verbally beating someone to a pulp than physically lifting his hands to someone. He knew the rules about hand to hand to fighting and his own personal rule to that was to only do it in self defense. Right now he wasn’t in any danger, if anyone thought he was in danger it was Virsat. And it was completely silly, it wasn’t like he’d hurt the vampire and yet the tears coursing down his cheeks clearly stated he had. Despite his t out of place calmness he still felt a very tangible annoyance at this. He’d just opened his mouth to launch another milder verbal attack when someone slipped between the pair. A very small red headed someone. Frowning softly in confusion Jaden’s attention switched from Virsat to the dainty red head who’d pressed between them, she looked kind of familiar…Had he seen her around here before? No he’d remember a cute little red head like this. No she had to be from somewhere else…
He was jerked out of his curious wonderings by the feeling of something being pressed against his chest. It was this moment that he took in the broom stick held in her grasp that he understood what was going on and who the girl was-Sofia! This was the same little girl he’d grown up with?! It was amazing because he’d always been older than her by about 5 maybe 6 years and yet despite the age gap he’d been friends with her. But he’d left home at the age of twenty-he’d finally had enough of the crap at home and he’d left. Not just his family but his friends as well. But now..now it was like a blast from the past.
Grinning he obliged Sophia’s bold command by backing up a few steps before he noticed something. Like Virsat she was trembling in obvious fear and when she’d repeated her command her voice had turned somewhat shaky. Something wasn’t right…the Sofia he remembered would have nailed him with a nice bump on the noggin now for trying to pick on someone smaller than him-although Virsat wasn’t exactly smaller…still something about Sofia had change. She seemed scared witless right now. Immeadiately what ever plans he’d had about playing with her and teasing about her weapon of choice vanished. She wasn’t playing she was serious and she was scared..of him! He couldn’t help but feel a little insulted. Girls had never been afraid of him! He’d always been a bit of a ladies man-albeit a rude outspoken roguish one- and he’d never seemed to have any problems with the female gender. They’d never seemed scared of him. If anything they’d seemed to be in awe of him for all the trouble and pranks he’s pulled around town. They thought his scares were cool and as teen he’d gladly accepted that attention. Then again that was before he’d discovered he was more interested in guys but still he’d relished the attention he’d gotten from those silly tittering girls. Amongst them all there had only been one that wasn’t fooled by his act. Sofia. She’d known about what happened-she’d been the person he’d decided to confide all in. Because despite her age she seemed to understand and she’d never minded listening to him or providing comfort or medical attention when it was needed. But right now this girl in front of him she seemed…broken somehow. And he wanted to know why and how. And more importantly who had done it to her because the Sofia he remembered had always glowed and she’d always laughed and smiled. And she’d never seemed afraid. But now she seemed very afraid.
(Oops. Sorry its so long! ^^'')

(my eyes are hurting from that post but you got alot of gold for it i'm sure)
Suddenly Regina detected another prescense and before she knew it this strange girl with read hair was defending the vampire. It had caused her to lose her focus so she justed huffed unhappily. "Well at least you stepped in whoever you are" shrugging and sighing once again. Still thinking Virsat should be let outside and wondering if here volunteering to stay with him would make Jaden fell better. "Perhaps he can hunt with me then he certainly can't run "hoping that this would ease some tension.
Looking to Jaden"You cannot make him fight if hes not willing"not being a violent person either she could understand why he wouldn't want to fight with Jaden. "Perhaps letting him quench his thirst would be smarter or he may grow violent and eventually stop begging"she didn't want either to suffer that was for sure and for the sake of this girl as well since she sensed a closeness between her and Jaden.

Nala, being the oh-so-typical adult, had been prowling the streets ruthlessly in search for the perfect Mojito Diablo. Honestly, how could someone mess up such a simple recipe? Needless to say, Nala had refused to pay a few bills in the last two hours. Maybe it was time to give up her search, hit a new city, or even a new state. In the meantime, she had to get the rancid taste of rotten lime out of her mouth.
'A Tavern for the Weary Heart', a crimson sign read. Nala took a deep breath, enjoying the warm and cozy atmosphere the tavern seemed to give off. It was almost as if something inside her was telling her to enter, but what? She swung open the door, immediately feeling that the once cozy atmosphere had bubbled into a tense setting. A man with a hideous eyepatch was towering over a much smaller girl, which, in her case, was a sign that the young woman was about to be hurt. Nala, being the over protective figure, marched right over to the pair, grasping the girl lightly on the shoulder. She lowered her head, whispering a small "Don't be afraid. He won't threaten you. It's three against one now." to the girl. She snapped her head up, staring at the man with a threatening look plastered on her face. "Did you touch her?", Her grip tightened on the girl, "What the hell do you think your doing?! Just take a seat and leave these two alone before you break a nail." She smirked. "That would be terrible. Isn't that right, mutt?"

(OOC I'm sorry I've been off so long but I'm back now and ready to jump back into things, I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July)
Kiya didn't say anything while Angil and Yuu-kun talked, she started to feel in the way clearly Angil had something to say she didn't want Kiya to hear. She had always been a little on the nosy side but that didn't mean she meant to eavesdrop. "Does the effect of alcohol hit you that hard Yuu-kun?" she asked curiously watching him relax, he looked just a tad.. off had she given him to much? Perhaps, she hoped it didn't take long before he was back on his feet. "Maybe you should rest a little Yuu-kun sleep it off a little"

Regina watched everything go down in silence. She was still sitting at the bar when a new person...a girl had stepped in to defend Virsat and the red headed lady. It just got interestingsitting there and also wondering were the owner went to he had thrown a knife at both of them and she hadn't seen either since. It was annoying since she did need some blood and Jaden was blocking the doorway.

Slowly standing up, Yuuichi smiles at Kiya a bit as he stretches, happy the room is starting to calm down. "No, it usually doesn't hit me that hard, it was merely how much I had so quickly." He leans down and softly kisses Kiya on her forehead. "I will be back in a bit, ok? I think there is something troubling Angil and she seems a bit uncomfortable with it. When I come back, rest would be nice, but it would be nicer if I had someone resting with me." He winks at her before he walks out of the kitchen, heading towards Angil's room so they may speak privately. He stops for a moment, watching the events at the door. Still trying to think straight enough to get his mind wrapped around it. "Jaden, it may be prudent just to allow him to leave. Maybe in this aspect you and I were wrong, maybe he isn't trying to 'leave.' He may just be hungry again." As he speaks of Virsat, Yuuichi runs his right hand across his side that Kiya had just stitched up. After sighing a bit, Yuuichi gently knocks on the door to Angil's room.

Angil was sleeping peacefully, dreaming about cupcakes and tea, until a knock at her door cut it short. She slowly opened her eyes, trying to gather her senses to figure out what was going on. Hello? Who is it? She rubs her eyes and sits up in her bed, sitting on her knees. Come on in. The door is open.

Yuuichi opens the door and slips into Angil's room, softly closing the door behind him. He tilts his head looking at her curiously for a moment. "I'm guessing you needed my advice about something?" Knowing in his mind he has never been the best when dealing with situations involving Angil, Yuuichi slowly walks over and sits beside her, putting on the persona of an older brother. "What is bothering you this time, Angil. And please don't let it be like last time where you put me at a complete loss." He looks down at the floor, waiting for a response, his ears lowering a bit towards his head, fearing what this could be about.

Angil tensed a little when Yuuichi walked in. It meant that she had to think about earlier. She lowered her head, trying to think of the right words. It was definitely hard for her to describe the feeling. Earlier, Jaden and Virsat was talk about about those who enjoyed controlling others and I started to think about my father. It was then that a feeling started to fill withing me. It was almost like extreme hatred. I just wanted to rip something apart. Angil held her head, trying to remember everything. Then something changed within me. My voice felt like it was no longer my own. it was deeper, darker....harsher...I almost felt like an outsider looking in. Angil wrapped her arms around herself and trembled a little when she thought about her actions earlier.

Virsat could scarcely keep control or believe it when the human girl came to defend him. When the second human entered and immediatly got herself involved, Virsat's mind whirled round and round. He couldn't understand why humans were getting themselves involved, and quite frankly they terrified him. The tall Vampire took a few steps backwards with a slight whimper.
It didn't matter to him that Jaden seemed rather upset at him. Even his hunger seemed to take a backseat to the fear that had gripped him when the other human entered and got herself involved. Trembling, Virsat moved. He moved so quickly. One moment he was there infront of Jaden and the next he was behind the cat, hands resting very lightly on Jaden's hips and his chin rested gently on the cat's right shoulder as he stooped a bit, as if he were trying to hide behind Jaden and peek around at the humans.
"...I'm sorry you're angry at me.....Please...Please don't let the humans hurt me!" His voice had been a quick whisper, filled with terror at the presance of the humans, yet his voice held a hint of trust. He trusted and hoped beyond hope that Jaden would not let the humans hurt him.

Nodding in understanding as he listens to Angil's words, Yuuichi thinks back to some of the private talks he and her brother had. Yuuichi, I have something important that you need to know before you allow Angil to travel with you...She has a...this special problem. You see, our family has had a long standing bond with a creature that typically resides in the women. It passed from my mother to Angil. When she becomes enraged she has a chance of losing herself. I want to ask you to help her as best as you can. You have traveled more than most people I know combined, so if anyone can handle this, it would be you.So let me get this straight. Your asking me to double up on my babysitting duties with her, because of some pact? You could say that. He watches Angil, studying her movements carefully for a few moments before finally choosing to speak. "Unfortunately, there is not much I can tell you right now about it. Other than to keep your temper, ok little one?" He lowers his head a bit, angry at himself for hiding the truth from her, but at the same time afraid of how she will handle it in her current state.

Angil calmed herself a little. She was a bit disappointed that Yuuichi didnt have any answers. She let go of herself and rested her hands in her lap. She tried to force a smile. Alrighty. I'm sorry to bother you with this. It was just so odd and I wasnt sure if with your travels you might have known something. She sighed. Well, Yuu-kun, I think I shall not keep you from your lady friend any longer. Angil teased. A true smile starting to grow. She leaned back and propped herself up with her arms. Maybe one day I'll have a gentleman friend. She let out a small laugh. But really, I think I wana finish that nap I started earlier.

Yuuichi rolls his eyes a bit at the sarcasm in Angil's voice before even considering playing her little game. "Angil, you know I have always been straight-forward with you, so now I'm asking you to be the same with me. What exactly were you seeking to gain by asking me of your 'problem'? And by the way, her name is Kiya. If it wasn't for her bringing me back to the tavern, I would probably be unconscious in the woods right now." He glares at her for a moment, trying to keep his temper controlled, yet unsure of why he took insult. "Sometimes, you make me wonder why I agreed to your brother's request, especially with the hatred your father had of me."

Angil sat up, unsure of what she did to anger him so. She narrows her brows. I-I wasnt sure if you have ever heard of it before. I didnt mean to upset you. I think its nice that you have met Kiya and if what you say is true, then I'm glad she was there for you. I have never seen you so at ease. She tilted her head, looking at him, concerned. Then he made his last comment. Her eyes grew wide with fear, and slightly tearing up. Please... She leaned forward both hands on the bed. Please dont make me go back! Whatever I did to make you mad, I'm sorry. Just please dont make me go back to him! Her eyes pleading, and she started to tremble a little again.

His ears twitch a bit at the sight of her trembling. Damn you Saito...I owe you a good punch in the face after this one. He bites his lip a bit, contemplating how to go about controlling what could happen in the next couple moments. "Angil, you really believe I would send you back? If that was true, it would have happened long before now. And I'm not mad at you, I just wish you would learn a little more tact with your words. For an Elf, you really do not think much before you speak." In the back of his mind, Yuuichi starts weaving together an illusion of Saito, in case Angil starts to lose control, hoping he doesn't have to go through with it.

A wave of relief came over Angil when Yuuichi conformed that he wouldnt send her back. She sits up and looks at the ground, ashamed. I-I'm sorry. I need to remember my lessons. It is not becoming for a lady to speak so freely. Forgive me. Angil's eyes became dull and her tone was of a proper lady. Inside, something wanted to rip out, but she controlled it. Remembering what Yuuichi said. Thinking about it, she has been acting foolishly. Insulting others, letting her anger loose control, and the whole blood thing. She has really made a mess of things.
