I apologize in advance if this kind of thread has been made before.
Anyone around here still use snail mail? I love it.
I make a ton of kandi jewelery and like trading with people on the internet, plus my girlfriend and I send each other gifts through the mail. Cx
It's easier to hold conversations through email though, which is how I've been keeping in contact with my mom.
What about you guys?

I send it if I have the time and money. Usually when I'm actually writing someone it's because I've made them something and they're too far away for me to give it to them in person. So I kind of stock up on things to send them and mail it all in the same box if I can. It's hard though, because shipping on items is kind of expensive... Or at least, it is to a person who doesn't have free money to use very often.
I like snail mail though. ^-^ I always thought it was really nice to actually send letters back and forth. It's especially nice to get a letter when you didn't expect one. It kind of makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I love snail mail. I tend to get lazy with correspondence that way, but I love sending small gifts to friends that way, for special occasions. I love receiving letters in the mail, gifts or not, so the time and postage is worth it. :)

I rarely use snail mail but if I buy something off of ebay it will. take a few days are week's get to my house trough the mail. one time a seller on ebay I bought some stuff form japan a item was missing form the set. it was a lunch set a bento box one so I double check it. to make sure everything was there after it came to my house I was missing one item. so I type back to the seller explain that I am missing one item. they were nice enough to send the item to me with out charging. me anything since I'd all ready paid for it. in the end I got the item and was a happy person to no end.

I used to write to a few people on Mene a few years ago. I since lost addresses and moved or the person is not active on here any more so I couldn't get details. I would love to start something like that up again though. I send my friend stuff in the mail because he lives on the other side of the country and he sends me stuff. Other than that and paying bills I don't mail anyone.

Starting up a penpal thread here might be fun... everyone can post a little bit about themselves and find people with similar interests to correspond with. :X

I just read through this thread aaaaand.... I think doing this kind of penpal thing would be really cool xD. So I agree with Voenne =3
It can probably be pulled off somewhat easily, as long as the people participating don't mind giving their address to someone they barely know xDDD.
And btw -- I use snail mail a lot, myself  Mostly to send letters and crafts to my friend who lives in Europe >w<

There was one in Menewsha Nations years back but I'm not sure if it's still active. I lost track of it. If not then I think starting a new one would be fun.
