Hi! Thanks for checking this out. Since I think this would be easier, I'll simply put my little RP quirks and needs out on the table before telling you what I want to do. When is it ever fun to RP when you don't match your partners style!

My RP Style

• I am fully literate
• I like to have all characters of mine be well-rounded in the sense that they are realistic with flaws and unique personality
• An average reply for me is two to three paragraphs, and a little more for introductions
• It's always a goal of mine to incorprate my OC's feelings into the writing (though I think that's everyones, hahaha) and try to get across what they're thinking so my partner can understand them better
• Every once in a while I like to sketch out scenes from my RPs and post them, just to illustrate what I think is happening and to help get me and my partner on the same page
• If I become board or clueless in an RP, I like to discuss new ideas and plot twists with my partner

What I Want From My Partner

• I want my partner to at least be semi literate
• I want my partner able to have fun with the RP and keep things lighthearted for the most part
• I want my partner to try their hardest to keep the relationships in the RP realistic, as well as their OCs themselves
• I'd like to be able to start an OOC conversation with my partner, it's easier to RP when we're at least friendly with each other
• I'd love it for my partner to be open to silly ideas, because I have tons of them :P

Also, I'm highly addicted to shonen-ai, hahahahahhaa XD

Okay, so now time to discuss the RP. Highschool settings are my favorite, even if they are cliche. Being a hopeless romantic, I love really sappy bits and sweet nothings in an RP, also really cliche. I try my hardest to keep things entertaining, and to come up with interesting ideas. My favorite kind of romance is where two OCs hate each other to start with, and then slowly warm up to each other as the RP progresses. Also, I can't do fan-based RPs. I feel uncomfortable and pressured if I'm working with a character that isn't mine. Sorry.
I like to have very detailed plot lines, just so we know where the story is going. Anything graphic regarding violence or sex is undesirable to me, and isn't even allowed on Menewsha XD

Oh, and to both of you ladies, since I'm probably going to end up RPing with both of you (hahaha), do you have any negative feelings towards band-based RPs? Suddenly I have the hankering for one (or some sort of highschool-band hybrid).

Ahaha, my one pet peeve is one liners and plain characters.

I have one question though, what kind of character will you guys be playing? Boy or Girl? Just so I don't make a character that is the wrong gender. You know what I mean? Oh and also, are we going to be using anime or real pictures ?

Well, I prefer male characters just because I feel awkward being a girl (weird, right?). So did you want to pursue a heterosexual romance? Because this would be my first time ever RPing that! XD
Oh, well as far as pictures go, I don't care which way. Knowing myself I'll probably end up drawing my character. Whatever you want to use is fine.

And that sounds awesome, Apollo :) As far as the band idea goes, maybe we could have it be something like my and your OCs are in rival bands and were former flames? They'd both have there own sides of their relationship and could write songs about it, perform them, and then they would realize that the two of them being angry and upset with each other was just a huge misunderstanding?

Yes, that sounds like a really great idea! Everyone keeps telling them they are so alike but they ignore all of it until they realize everything wasn't supposed to be like that. Great idea. Very original.(:

Hmm, we should probably come up with what had happened to them in the past though, like the big misunderstanding, and build the plot up from there. Would we begin the story at their breakup? I mean, that way there would still be hurt feelings, and them getting all riled up and using the band competition as a way to vent. Maybe we could through in another guy that starts hitting on your character, just to make my guy jealous. Because they'd still have feelings for each other, nah?
