It's best to start learning to drive when you feel ready to

I'm comfortable with the idea of driving. But just a little nervous about what might happen to me (or others) while I'm doing it.

You'll be fine as long as you get the right instructor.

I honestly wouldn't ever drive anything but an automatic. Driving a manual is far more effort than I feel like putting in.

I'd be terrified of going over a bit too far and throwing it in reverse while trying to merge onto the highway or something. I have no idea how people manage to concentrate on driving while making sure they shift properly. And then, you know, some older cars have it so you can see the little slots where you're shifting the stick into. But then a lot of newer ones have that completely hidden, so you're supposed to just remember which position the stick is already in and try not to go past where you need to... Easy enough, but not when you're also trying to merge onto the goddamn highway.

xD;; Ahh! People in a lot of threads are talking about the scariness of driving, so now I'm intimidated!

No, no, scariness of driving a stick. Take the stick out of what I just said and it's no biggie. Then it's just "accelerate, find a break in traffic, merge into it." Besides, they're not even going to have you do that for a long time. You'll be driving around a vacant parking lot or something equally un-mess-upable at first.
Also, I don't drive, so you shouldn't even be taking my word on how something scary.

Hello! I need advice. I have 58 pies right now. I've collected 4 out of the 5 Event Items already. I only have like an hour left on Mene because I won't be around for the rest of the event. So, should I try and post more to get 75 pies and get the last EI (Balloon Item) or do I spend all of my pies on Event Commons?

@ Cherry - D: Vacant parking lots have borders I can run into.
@ Luna - *shrugs* What do you want more?

I say get the EI, there's an infinite supply of the commons, but after the event, a very finite supply of EIs.

Hmm, I don't know what I want more. The commons will come in more use but then as Cherry says there will be much more chance to get them after the event. It just depends on if I get to 75 pies in time!? Thanks!

Well, if you don't think you're ever going to use the EI at all, then I'd say skip it.

You're right. I might just splash out on as many commons as I can because I always find it hard to make avatars with the basic clothes I have, I'm not the best at matching haha! <3
Okay now I'm confused because I've nearly got 75 pies.. Dilemma!

xD Well. I'm not the best person to ask. I"m pretty famous for making outfits out of mostly CIs and EIs... ANd like five commons.

Yeah, I can. Though it's one item compared to multiple items that I could use. I've looked through the event store again and I think I probably don't like the items enough to regret not getting any more. I'm going to go for the Balloons.
Pies = poofed into dust!

Well I can't help but notice that you've got 13k on you, you could use some of that for the commons?

It's weird actually, before the event I had 4000g. Some how I won a couple of times in gold and I sold some old items. I've never had this much before, ever! Thanks for the help.

Yeah, driving is a breeze if you have an automatic. I'd assume it would be a breeze to drive a stick too if you learned on that first and you were just used to it, but driving an automatic is just so much easier.
I wouldn't be discouraged about driving before you start. Its actually really fun once you get used to it.
