My first anime was Kodocha. I don't remember what my first manga was honestly.

Well I'm not sure if you count these as my FIRST because I didn't know they were anime. But they were Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. The anime/manga that got me into it was Fruits Basket. It was both my first anime and manga <3

My first anime was Sailor Moon, and my first manga was Fruits Basket.

SO many mangas @_@. Lots of different ones!

My first anime would have to be Tenchi Muyou... as for manga, some real obscure shoujo series called Planet Ladder that I started to read backwards without realizing my mistake for half a volume.

Since then, my list has branched out rather prolifically.

My First anime was Sailor Moon. First Manga was Rurouni Kenshin (Sp).

Sailor Moon hahaha, and then the Gundam series, then Inuyasha, and there was no escape after that.

The first anime I ever watched was Sailor Moon when I was a little kid. xD That show was the best. :3

Heh, its so funny how they made Sailor moon into a kids show. Actually, I forgot about yu-gi-oh :sweat:. I think everyone but my mum used to love that show...

Sailor Moon is also my first anime. As for manga, it's Gravitation.

Tokyo Mew Mew was the anime that got my tooked into my otaku life!

Sailor Moon! Then I went on to Inuyasha, Fushigi Yuugi, and more... I remember as a kid, wanting long black hair just like Sailor Mars! ^.^; And who would've thought that stuck with my through my teen years? I used to play Sailor Moon with my best friends! It was so fun! If anyone here hasn't watched it, you so should. ^.^ It's so cute, and all the characters are so pretty!

Like most guys of my age(29) Dragonball and dragonball z were the first anime I ever watched. right alongside sailor moon, cutie honey flash, and pokeman. and lets not forget slayers!

My first manga was Saint Tail, and my first anime was Lucky Star (that is, if you don't count Pokemon, because everbody and their cat has seen that, so I usually don't count it.)

The first anime I watched was Saint Seiya also known as Knights of the Zodiac. I watched it when I was 6 and I think I already knew it was an anime... I can't remember when and how I learned the definitions of the words manga and anime. Dragon Ball followed shortly after.

Well, I guess I saw a random episode of Yattaman or Sailor Moon earlier but I didn't really follow these.

I remember when I was in second grade, watching Voltron. Didn't know it was anime at the time.
After that, it was Pokemon, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball Z that I watched in school.

Suite Precure and YUGIOH Zexal got me hooked into anime.

My first Manga was Death Note, and it in turn became my first Anime. The Shinugami was what really hooked me in and it has been my favorite series ever since.

Anime:Shugo Chara!
A friend reccomended it to me.It was all of those cute things that hooked me.
Then I proceeded to watch Rozen Maiden then Fairy Tail, I'm still stuck on Fairy Tail because all of the episode aren't out yet and I don't want to watch 2 at a time.

Manga: It was also Shugo Chara but after I watched the Anime.
