I didn't know this cousin of mine who my Mom asked to babysit me while my parents went to Niagara Falls for their anniversary and I was an absolute terror -- even piled ALL of my toys in the living room and refused to pick them up and go to bed XD;
Now all of this could have been avoided if 1. She didn't just show up when my parents were leaving that night. 2. I could have just stayed with my grandparents instead of with a complete stranger :P
I so remember that night - I find it freaking hilarious when I look back on it 'cause it was SO out of character for me!

I was using animecrazy.net. But then all of a sudden the videos completely stopped working on the anime I was watching. The site I found after that was working...but I don't remember what it was...anime seasons I think?

We're open for business, starting a facebook shop, and are looking for an official storefront - just have to make calls tomorrow to see what the best deal we can get is :3 <3

We just got everything legalized in my name so it's officially mine etc :3
Currently we're working out deals with the local 4 colleges (two SUNY and 2 private) for our new line of products that Parents can have sent to their kids as "care packages" and such - currently we have Candy Cakes as our spotlight item <3

I just wish my Dad would keep his nose out of everything and stop trying to get into things that have nothing to do with him >.>
Soo sick of him trying to control what I can and cannot do with a business. ESPECIALLY when he tries to sit there and tell me I'm not an adult and I can't so anything because I'm 19 and not 21.
It's like seriously? I became a legal adult at 18. I'm just covered under your military until I'm 21. That doesn't make me not an adult a*hole >.>

Rodd and I are doing well. Enjoying the fact that I work 10 miles from work now instead of 40 miles away. Commute is easier and I get home from work at about 4:15 instead after 5pm. Thinking it might be time to get the second job so that I can pay back the credit card sooner and have some extra money for savings and getting a house. There is also the Vegas trip that we want to go on at the beginning of next year.

Move went better than I thought it was going to go down. Hired some movers to help with the climb up 3 flights of stairs. Saved us a ton of sweat and gave me a chance to set up where I wanted things to go in the apartment. Bought a couch the week after we got here. Those Aaron's stores, kind of like Rent A Center, we bought a nice used couch from them. We were looking at thrift stores, but the idea of carrying a couch up 3 flights of stairs did not appeal to Rodd and I. Aaron's delivered for a $25 fee. Quite the bargain in my mind.

How exciting! Hope you find something that you like as far as the store front goes. Never thought about branching out to the colleges, but that makes lots of business sense. Parents are going to want to make their kids return back to school a memorable or special one. The care package is a wonderful idea.

Sounds like Dad is just not yet ready to realize that you are a grown up and starting your own business. Some parents are just not ready to let go and allow the kids to spread their wings. He'll get there eventually. Especially when you start selling your product and making a profit. I wish you the best of luck when it comes to your dad and him letting you do what you need to for your business.

I am a little bummed this weekend since my parents are up at the cabin in the Sierra Nevadas, I wish we could be with them. It's 1100 miles for us ti drive up there now. Sucks. We have to fly up there and either get a rental car or rely on someone to come us up and drive us up there. We have to start saving for that trip next year as well. I am leaning towards us getting the rental car since it's less troublesome for other parties involved.

Well, restaurants and such have deals with the colleges around here - some give special coupons, some give discounts when using the IDs, and some allow them to use their IDs like credit cards and pay for meals that way instead of paying cash or whatever :3
Other places other care packages, but they're so stupid and pointless. A friend of mine got one full of fruit and crap, and it was all rotten by the time it got here and only a small portion was edible/far enough away from the rotten rood to eat lol
By doing care packages through us, they're guaranteed that it'll get to their kids fresh, not rotten, and it'll really be the quality they're paying for -- so it's DEFINITELY going to be a hit if people actually get word of it - and with the private college I went to, the person told us to bring everything right to her office and she'll personally see that each parent gets the brochure/pamphlet - so we already have one college TOTALLY 100% completely interested in it - and that just boosted our confidence even more on the project. I mean, we sent out those emails either yesterday or today - and we had an email back from that college telling us that today lol
So it wasn't even a big thing to think about, ya know?

My Dad doesn't care one bit about me -- we don't have a Father/Daughter relationship -- he's only my "Dad" due to sperm and that's it :P

Anyway - he just degrades women and thinks the lowest of the low of them (Yeah. Have NO idea how my Mom married him. If it weren't for military I'm sure they'd be divorced by now 'cause NO ONE can stand him xD) and thinks they can't do anything. He's an a*hole, just plain and simple. And because it's me doing everything - it's even worse because I'm constantly hearing the "You can't do this. You're not an adult. You can't go around asking for numbers and asking to rent buildings. You can't own your own business." blahblahblah EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
It's seriously getting to the point where I wish my Mom would just stop talking to him about it because I'm going to end up punching him in the face lol
He's just constantly trashing every single thing and constantly degrading me and putting everything I do down. I'd LOVE to see his face when he finds out that I'm the one who started the banking for the Business. I'm the one who has the DBA (Doing Business As). I'm the one who in every single legal sense has sole control and ownership over that company.

That's kind of cool that the businesses do that with the college. And gross that people don't guarantee their product fresh on arrival. As someone sending something like that I would want a guarantee that my son or daughter got their gift in the best possible condition. Some people have no class when it comes to their products, but they are the first to bitch and complain if something goes wrong with their order. Never understood the hypocrisy.

No worries about the long rant, we all have those certain things that just drive us crazy. In this case, your asshole father and his asshole idiot ideas about what you are and what you are capable of doing. Just to throw it in his face that woman can do some amazing things you should look up how many woman are CEOs of fortune 500 companies and let him know that just because they possess a vagina does not make them less in the eyes of the corporate world.

Men who think they are better then woman need to have their testicles removed, their penis chopped off and forced to live as a woman for the rest of their miserable little existence. Although that would be disgracing the rest of us that were born as a woman. Perhaps there is another punishment we can find for his kind.

Two of my good friends have dads that are the same way. Thankfully one doesn't have to ever see her's a again since her mom divorced his over bearing ass 9 years ago...just before we left high school. The other one still interacts with her sperm donor, even though he degrades her for a being a lesbian. Just glad that she stood her ground and told him that no matter what he says or does, she will always be a lesbian.
