Is anyone here a King Crimson fan?
King Crimson is an English group formed by, guitarist, Robert Fripp. They laid the foundations for progressive rock and continued to build upon the genre. They released their debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King, in 1969 and continued to released albums until 2003 and are now on hiatus.

I love the amount of improvisation they put into their songs. They have a large amount of improv during their live shows and in the studio.

From Starless and Bible Black, right? I had to go to my iTunes to figure out which song it was (I have too much King Crimson on my computer :XD).
That whole album was great. I've always loved their albums from Discipline and earlier. I feel Discipline was the climax of the band's career, though it's not my favorite, and they have been on a slow decline since.

I don't think I have anything after that, actually.

KC yaaaaaaay! I was raised up with In the Court of the Crimson King pretty much. My favorite is 21st Century Schizoid Man, I could listen to that all day. XD

Honestly, I share the same notion about Discipline. It sort of feels like they lost something after that. Sort of like with The Moody Blues and after Seventh Sojourn IMO.

I think it may have something to do with all of the line-up changes.
With 18 members and 2 lyricists in their whole career, they probably couldn't find the magic afterwards.
