How does one change a society? It starts individually, person to person. You can't change the world in a single speech, or single courtesy.
Kindness; many Menewshans already know what this means. I swear you bunch are the most giving people in the world sometimes! All we ask is that you who receive continue to pass this kindness forward, weather it be in a donation to a needy user, an art freebie, or even chatting in someone's lonely quest thread for a while - spread the kindness!

WinglessFairy and The Kitchen Charity
Hello All! I'm WinglessFairy, and I used to be a regular in a little charity thread called The Kitchen Charity back in the earlier days of menewsha (and the original on gaia) which was run by a wonderful friend of mine named Ithir. Sometime in 2009, I went on a two year hiatus, and when I returned, I'd found Ithir and the Kitchen Charity had dwindled into a locked thread at the bottom of the charity forum. How depressing! So I went and contacted Ithir outside of mene and got her permission to reopen The Kitchen Charity! While we've only had one official application, TKC has ravaged the Quest threads, and helped users get pie-commons from the Summer Boardwalk event, as well as randomly donated to all as was possible! Now, I'm not charging official applied donations to Pass it Forward, but all random donations I ask that you pass on your kindness. It doesn't need to be an item of equal value donated or anything like that, you could stop by a lonely quest thread and chat with the user for a while, or draw someone a piece of artwork or a sign.
Here are the chains I've started! Weather notated or not, I hope all continue this chain-kindness~
I've always loved the thrill of helping others with their quests and donating. I don't know; I guess I started donating to people for a very selfish reason: I really enjoy making others happy! As lame as that sounds, it's true for me. I didn't start doing it for the recognition, but merely to make others happy.
I've helped in other charities since joining menewsha (which was my first avatar site) but The Nothing Fancy Charity is the first charity that I've opened and run by myself. At the moment, it's just a "baby" charity, but already seems to have picked up in activity. Regulars are starting to appear. So far, several donations have been made and one application has been sent in; there are also two contests!
I created the charity, not only to give donations, but in hopes of bringing friends together. I hope to have others visit soon!

Hi, I am d2hiriyuu, most commonly known as d2 or ryuu or hiri. I created a charity that focuses on people's quests, and being able to help them achieve their goals for the larger items by donating the difference needed to finish a quest. For smaller items, it is possible you'll just get the item. I am normally in other charity threads as well, and enjoy many people stopping by to chat. Current the charity is old, but still a baby as far as activity goes.
