iro: Writing in Kanji and the other two seem hard. But that's probably because I'm used to writing in english letters. xD;;

I've piked up a few words from watching subtitled anime.

Japanese in anime is actually pretty broken and has lots of slang, much like how English is in cartoons. Not the best place to learn the language, but there are things you could learn.

I could write my name is traditional and new Chinese, at the very least. And dragon. xD

I have reading and writing disabilities.

Its really hard for me to pick up on things. I would forget or have a hard time remembering.

Classes would teach you very proper and polite (formal) Japanese, which is rightfully the way to do it.
But like English, we learn proper English and yet many of us use slang for it, right? xD
