The Search for the Moon Spirit
The Song of the Ocean Spirit:

The Melody of the Moon Spirit:

The Love Song of the Lovers:

The Moon, the Sun and the Ocean of the planet Earth now inhabited with humans. The three most important things the Earth needs to survive. In 9011, the humans thought they knew about the sun, the moon and the ocean until one day when the Moon, the Ocean and the Sun seen to come down and told them about the Spirit Realm. The Humans couldn’t believe that there were spirits in the world and that they controlled what most of the humans did in the world. Over the years, the humans got use to the fact that spirits existed and resided in the both the human and Spirit Realm, they also got use to three particular Spirits, The Ocean, the Sun and the Moon spirits, Taiyo, Umi and Tsuki. Tsuki is the younger sister of Taiyo, the Sun Spirit, and the wife of Umi. She is considered the most beautiful woman of both the humans and spirits. Her heart is kind, generous and friendly towards others that cross her path. Her husband, Umi, The Ocean spirit is mostly feared due to his scary appearance and seemingly rude behavior. But in truth, Umi is very kind and can be sweet if you don’t tick him off or harm his wife. Taiyo, the Sun spirit, is the oldest of all spirits and the older brother of Tsuki. He is considered a ‘hottie’ of the human and Spirit Realms and his caring to the subjects of the two realms.

Tsuki and Umi would visit earth almost all the time and enjoyed helping as many humans as they could to prevent horrific events that would happen to them. The human males would often try to impress Tsuki by confessing their love to her, she often kindly rejected them and they accepted it. All except one man by the name of Von Groff. Von Groff would a crush on Tsuki and he confessed his love for her and was kindly rejected; which caused him to become angry. Von went to the Spirit Library in the Spirit Realm and seen a way to kill Tsuki the Moon Spirit. One day in 9087 Tsuki was swimming in a small lake with Umi in her mermaid form then sat on the edge of the bank and spent quality time in her husband’s arms. When she woke up after waking asleep, Tsuki was stabbed with a red rune sword right in the heart by Von Groff himself. Umi woke up and held Von by the throat as Taiyo came down from the sun to mend the wound, Umi killed Von but both Taiyo and Umi couldn’t save Tsuki, she died in Umi’s arms after 10 agonizing minutes. Umi’s angry climbed to new highs as he did the unthinkable. He used his powers to call back all the waters of the Earth back to him and hid the water in a seal far from both the Spirit Realm and the humans. Taiyo tries to convince Umi to return the water to the humans and the Spirits so life can continue, but Umi only growled at Taiyo and told him to leave him alone. Umi said that he will return the water when his beloved Tsuki returns in his arms. Taiyo knew that this was impossible to do and tried to help the humans himself by letting the sun shine for only about two and a half hours so that the sun wouldn’t take away the remaining water on the Earth or Spirit realm.

After 10,000 years of no water or love from the Ocean spirit Umi, a young teen girl by the name of Yue and her newly wed husband moved a little closer to the Moon Spirit’s shrine to take care of it and to hopefully find water near the shrine of the once beautiful Moon Spirit. One night while Yue was sleep she unknowingly turned into the Moon Spirit. Yue woke up and seen this transformation and screamed as her husband came in and gasped from this as well and knew what was going on. Taiyo seen this and came down to confront Yue and told them that she was the incarnation of his dead sister. Taiyo told Umi that he may had found the Tsuki is human form and told him to come see for himself, which he did. Umi seen Yue and couldn’t believe his eyes about how she looked just like his Tsuki and he wanted Yue to be by his side, there is only one problem. Yue doesn’t remember anything about her past life and her husband doesn’t want to give her up without a fight. Taiyo separated the two to allow Yue to think about her decision even though she wasn’t the only person to be incarnated. Jason Groff, Von Groff’s descendent and very angry about the death of his ancestor, vowed to kill the new Moon Spirit after finding out who it was. Yue doesn’t have much time, she was to choose to either stay from her husband and cause more suffering for the spirits and humans or go back to Umi and start her new life as the Moon Spirit?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Information for the confused:

All Spirits are immortal and can come back to life when they wish to. The Moon Spirit couldn't come back to live because she, her brother and Umi gave up their immortality to be in the human world a very long time ago, before humans had evolved. They can still live forever but can also still be killed. Tsuki is the very moon of the human and spirit world just as Umi is the very ocean and Taiyo is the very sun as well, and since Tsuki was killed, the Moon vanished in both realms.

She learned to defend herself for about 10 years and was adopted by a strange man that was willing to watch over her. This only proved to be a big mistake when the man raped her and left her for dead in the middle of nowhere, alone once more Yue learned to trust no one since she was considered odd. The humans found it strange that a young girl would have pitch jet black hair and pure white bangs and almost never seemed to be thirsty. After three more years of being alone, she meets a young boy at her age and they fall in love with each other, the boy doesn’t fine it strange that her hair is different but says that she is beautiful as she is. Yue and the boy stayed together and got married within a year’s time. Yue, now 19, and her husband moved closer to the shrine of Tsuki the Moon Spirit and decided to help the caretakers take care of it. In a few mouths, Yue starts noticing strange things happening to her but ignores it. But when she falls asleep one day, she is transformed into the new moon spirit. Confused and scared her husband comforts her as best he could then get a visit from the Sun Spirit himself as he explained everything. Now little Yue has to choose. Stay with her husband or go with Umi and live with him forever?

What are you the spirit of: Sun
Do you trust the humans: Yes
Bio: Taiyo was originally born and raised into a small poor village within the more rural areas of the world, throughout his entire life he lived there he had always helped his family with the farm work along with helping the rest of the villagers around such as the elderly and sick move around to where they needed to go; if not help them with whatever they needed. Even though his family and the entire village itself was poor and it didn't seem as though they would be gaining any money anytime soon, they were all still able to live a happy life and not even think about the thought of having money to buy anything they wanted. Although, that had all changed one day when Taiyo was one day helping his family with the farm work around the village when the sounds of what seemed like raiders screaming with excitement and horses riding quickly toward the area caught his ears. The raiders had come into the village and had destroyed everything; men, women and children were all killed, including Taiyo himself. Although strangely enough, Taiyo may had died but he didn't just let it go like that. After the raiders had done their work, Taiyo refused to die as he crawled out to the middle of the village and began drawing a strange symbol made out of his own blood in the middle of the ground; even though Taiyo and the rest of the village may had been poor, he spent most of his time reading about the mythological pasts. After creating the symbol he had reached up into the sky only to have his hand right as though it were in the grasp of the sun. After he had died, Taiyo had finally found himself strangely somehow becoming the spirit of the sun itself, only to hear from two others that there were spirits of the ocean and moon itself and that the moon spirit was his younger sister; it hadn't taken long for him to accept it thankfully. Now as time has pasted, when Tsuki had died and Taiyo had failed to heal her wound having Umi go almost crazy with madness to the point that he had taken away all the water; Taiyo now tries to do whatever he can to help the human world along with helping his reincarnation of his younger sister as well as trying to help Umi out of his madness to return the water back to the way it was.

What are you the spirit of: Ocean
Do you trust the humans:ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! THEY KILLED MY LOVE
Bio: Umi grew up with his best friend Taiyo who introduced him to his younger sister Tsuki. They played around in the different realms until Tsuki's beauty vexed Umi into finally telling her that he loved her. She soon became his wife and it was their vow that they would help the humans as much as possible to make their lives as peaceful as possible. He loved helping the people though his appearance made the humans fear him. He remained kind to all of them due to it being his nature and did what he could to take away that fear. He knew that his wife was loved mostly for her beauty and she had to turn down a man at every turn, every day. The one thing he feared and would become very ill willed about is if she was harmed. He knew he was being over protective, but even still, it was a fear that haunted and showed it as a possibility every single day with these humans.One day he and his love were sitting by a pond, swimming away, or just cuddling when they could. They were very much in love. When she came into his arms and laid there, they fell asleep. As she awoke, she was stabbed by a rune sword. He awoke with her head hitting back on her and took the man by the neck, screaming for an answer as to why the human had harmed her as well as calling for Taiyo to help him heal her. His neck snapped in his hands which made him suffer even more greatly in his mind as he dropped the now dead weight in his hand and went to his dying wife. The two tried for ten whole agonizing minutes to heal Tsuki. She spoke a lot trying to tell him that it was ok. The tears ran down his face as he held her, until she went completely limp. Out of his rage, he let out a warful painful cry that was heard across the world. The waters became violent and retreated into his body as he held his lover in his arms. Taiyo tried to calm him, but it would not work at all. He had to bury his wife while these humans still remained alive. Soon, he went into hiding in the water waiting until the day when his love would return to the earth.

She had it all, her mother takes care of her now, her father died from being outside far too long and not rationing his water supply. Now that the ocean god, Umi, took away something they all needed, she's been watching people die off. Paulina necessarily didn't care, most of the people teased her anyway. But now she only needs to worry about one other person. Her mother. She tries to take care of the old, frail woman. Paulina and her mother both know that, Rina, her mother will die soon. Here's to spending your last days on earth with the last person you love.

For example a completely healthy person no where near death will put him into a temporary comatose like state), determines the fate of souls (though once he determines this he is technically not 'allowed' to alter it) and can raise the dead bodies of creatures and humans (however their souls will not be in their bodies nor can he reverse damage already done to the body).
What are you the spirit of: Death
Position of Group: Other spirit, and occasional adviser to Yue
Bio: With the creation of life on the planet it was inevitable that death too would be born into the world, and it is this role that Mason was born into carrying out. He's younger then the three more commonly known spirits of the moon, sun and ocean, however he had been alive long enough to know the Moon spirit before she passed on. In fact he had been the one that had to whisk away her soul at her death since it was his duty, though trying to tell that to an enraged Ocean spirit wasn't exactly the easiest task. Fortunately he still held immortality so his 'fatality' at the time wasn't a permanent thing, nor was his second 'fatality' when he had to explain he could not bring back the Moon spirit nor return her soul to her body. His third 'fatality' came when he then had to try and explain that more then one being was passing on at the same time as the Moon spirit and was the reasoning he hadn't been able to come sooner to relieve her pain.

After the Ocean spirit had calmed down enough to stop delivering 'fatalities' to the death spirit, the decision was suddenly made to whisk away all the water on the planet. Like the Sun spirit, Mason had attempted to help convince the Ocean to return the waters, however had received another 'fatality' for his efforts before giving up. A bit disheartened by this the spirit began to help the humans and other creatures as best as he could by allowing a peaceful and quick passing into the afterlife or for reincarnation. As the mortality rate of Earth began to climb, and the situation started becoming rather desperate, Mason made his own unthinkable move. Previously he had decided that the Moon spirit's soul would rest peacefully in the afterlife, however due to the circumstances he secretly removed the soul and instead had the spirit be reincarnated in hopes that it would quell Umi's rage when her powers, and form reawakened, thus giving him a chance to see his beloved once more even if it was on a more temporary basis. One thing the death spirit hadn't quite foreseen however was the reincarnation falling in love with another, nor her memory loss.

He doesn't agree with forcing the reincarnated Moon spirit in choosing her new love or the continuance of the human race, after all she is just a reincarnation with only the soul of the previous Tsuki, not the original Tsuki herself. He truly believes that Umi may need to move on, though in fear of incurring another 'fatality' on his part he has chosen to keep this belief silent. Instead he offers now advice for the reincarnated Tsuki if she so desires it. Due to the past 'fatalities' he tries to avoid Umi as much as possible as he now holds a slight fear of his anger.

Position of Group: Rogue spirit
Bio: Kaori had always had a thing for running around int he wild. Yes she wasnt as beautiful as the moon spirit, but she did have many suitors ask for her hand as well. She would just smile at all of them and say she would have to get to know them first, but the men would just walk off on that part. If they couldnt be with the moon spirit, they wouldnt spend their time with any other spirit. She hated Tsuki for that. She hated how popular the woman was and how often she was asked even though they all knew she had been taken by the powerful Umi. Umi... Umi was something else. She had always had a crush on the man but being turned down by him. When Von Groff had been turned down and wanted his revenge, he wanted to shoo Kaori away, until he found that she could help him have his way with Tsuki. She told him that if he found a rune sword and stabbed her in the heart with it, she would be his forever. She wasnt going to let him know that it meant in going to be in death's domain. Umi would kill the man after he killed Tsuki. It was her fault all the water was gone from the world. It was her fault everything had happend, but like a sly fox, she wasnt going to let anyone know that ever, not even death. The man wasnt going to tell death either. All he knew was he talked to a girl who told him how to kill Tsuki. Now she wanted to help undo everything that had been done, still not letting on that she was the cause and coercive force that caused the whole thing. With Umi's rage of course though, her relation target was now the sun god for his kindness and love of the earth. She would tell her secret sooner or later, but for now, she was content with no one knowing.

Taiyo at this time was sitting the air almost as though he were sitting on nothing at all. He had been staring down at the mortal world for a while now, it has almost been an hour since he sat there being the sun; he made sure to vow that he would only keep the sun up for two hours each day since Umi refused to give the water back to the humans. Keeping the sun up for only about two hours would be able to at least keep the rest of the water from evaporating along with making sure to keep each of the humans with enough light so that they won't end up forgetting what it felt like to have light at all. Sitting there, his eyes were directed straight down toward where Yue was as he noticed how she and her husband were moving into their new home. Knowing exactly who she was by this point, it almost brought back some good yet bad memories of Tsuki when she was still alive. It brought back some memories of when Tsuki used to always be with Umi as they were happily living their lives together. Crossing his arms, at the thought as well Taiyo also remembered the very day that she had died in Umi's arms with Taiyo being unable to heal the major wound placed onto her. Shaking the thought off, he had tried to keep his focus also on what was happening now just in case anything bad were to happen to Yue or her husband at this time, not to mention he had to make sure to keep his time as the sun in the air for not too long.

Umi still looked down on the world through his water crystal ball as if it were a treacherous thing. He didnt want to have anything to do with it. Nothing whatsoever. Not until the girl chose. Yue... The one who looked so stunningly like his beloved Tsuki.
Flashback
Tsuki was sitting by the pool in her normal form. The beauty just emanated from her skin as Taiyo hit her with the rays of his sun. The waters gleam helped with the effect. He swam closer to her, slowly so as to keep the image in his mind for as long as possible before she dove in and swam over to him. He held her gently in the water as she smiled sweetly at him. He was in heaven right now from all the attention. She playfully splashed him and he playfully splashed back, chasing after her as she swam away. When he caught her, he gently kissed her forehead before getting out of the water on the banks of this peaceful lake and laid down to rest, looking up at the blue of the sky.
Tsuki spoke to him softly, he couldnt hear what she said, only her voice which was a beautiful song in his ears, before she laid down on his chest. They had just done a hard days work helping the humans once more like they had always done. Tsuki was of course hit on by the men, but she politely turned them away as usual. "Umi.... Umi..." She called to him while he was asleep on the ground.
A sudden grunt escaped her lips as a human snuck up on them and stabbed a rune blade straight through his love's heart. In his outrage he grabbed the man's throat yelling at him while he shook the man. The snap of his neck signaled him to let go and heal his love. Taiyo was there trying to heal her as well. She was fading in and out of existence while he held her. It took ten minutes for the rune blades effects to complete.

A tear formed, but he caught it before it could drop to the earth. She must choose. She must choose to be with him once more for the humans to get their water back. He wasnt going to allow any of it. A human had killed his love and now she was choosing a human over him. The only thing he could do was go to the temple the humans used to worship him and rest.

Death, it was a common occurrence now that the water of the earth had all but been taken away. Typically the spirit known as Mason wouldn't have minded having a little extra work, but it was beginning to wear on the spirit of Death. Years had passed and half the population of the planet was now dwelling within the spirit world of the afterlife. Today unfortunately it looked like yet another would be joining them as the body of a collapsed elder on the ground caught the light eyes of the Death spirit. The sight of him in his true form was starting to become a common sight nowadays as the death rate continued to increase.

A sigh escaped Mason's lips as he approached the fallen human. Carefully he knelt down beside as a hand reached down to check for a pulse. There was a slight flutter beneath his fingers as he rested them on the side of the man's neck. He was still alive, however it was clear that his time had come to an end. “I'm...sorry...” he whispered sorrowfully as he closed his eyes and removed his hand from the elder's neck and placed it on the male's chest. After a few moments a faint glow began to appear beneath his hand, before it began to rise and a glowing small orb soon followed. With great care he came to cup the orb within his hands that flowed and fluttered.

Opening his eyes he looked down on the soul he had extracted with a clear look of sorrow and sympathy within them. A sigh escaped as he knew quite well that this particular soul would be one that wouldn't reap the benefits of rebirth, but instead join the ever growing pool of spirits in the afterlife. The four wings that Mason currently held in his spirit form gently collapsed around him as his hands began to emit a soft glow. Soon the spherical soul in his hands began to fade away as it claimed its place within the afterlife.

Fourth one in three hours...this isn't good. Something needs to be done about this soon unless this race is to perish completely” he whispered quietly to himself as his gaze wandered towards the sky. The light of the sun was pleasantly bright to the point that he could just barely make out the image of the sun spirit. He had wished that the spirit of the Ocean could see a different sort of light and return to what it was that was most needed. A sigh escaped as he doubted this would occur anytime soon, unless the reincarnated moon spirit chose to be with him.

This though of course led to the Moon spirit herself, or rather the human that she had been reincarnated into. He hadn't quite expected that she would fall in love with another when he moved her soul to be reincarnated, but then love was one of those tricky things that the Death spirit couldn't quite understand fully. Sure the past Tsuki had been lovely and kind, though the death spirit had been more then content with simply watching from a distance. This was mainly due to the fact that he hadn't wished to see the time the spirit had left, as he knew very well the sun, ocean and moon spirit had given up their immortality to be in the human world indefinitely, as well as the fact that as death such a luxury wasn't something he could exactly have. Sorrow, grief and death was his world and he didn't wish to push that onto another. His reprieve from the negativity only came from the joy of simply watching, turning away only when he needed to.

Unfortunately the last time he had turned away the Moon spirit ended up murdered by a human, and caused him to be delayed by at least ten agonizing minutes. He was sorry that he had to take her soul away, even more so when Umi had finished with him, and that he had been delayed. Her soul was to be sent peacefully to rest in the afterlife, however after Umi raged and took away the water from both spirits and humans, the death spirit knew that he would be able to give her a peaceful oblivion in the end after all. And so he had done the forbidden act of reversing his judgment and sent her soul to be reincarnated, though now that provided a new misery upon the created Yue.

'One mistake after another...' he thought with a mental sigh. His wings moved again to engulf his entire frame that had begun to glow a different shade then his hands had with the spirit. Dark feathers suddenly twirled in a slight whirlwind, before slowly settling and floating gently to the ground. In place of the spirit's previous form stood a black cat, with malicious looking laughing bells and light purple eyes. It was his animal form and one that he typically took when about to travel a fair amount of distance in the human world. His destination this time was the Moon spirit's shrine where the reincarnated human form of Tsuki, Yue, and her human husband were rumored to now be as they were finishing their move into the small house near there. He may have perhaps made a mistake in reincarnating Tsuki, so he felt the least he could do now was to at least watch over and advise her however he could. In a dashing sprint the cat formed spirit was off in the direction that he knew the shrine was in.

It didn't take long for the black cat death spirit to reach his destination, at least not as long as it would have taken in his human form. His spirit form would have perhaps been even fast with flight, however he had learned that traveling in view of humans in that form had rather...dire consequences. His cat form was a relatively fast runner, however the small wings on his back were too small and useless for flight. A shiver passed through his furred spine at the very thought of it, and turned his attention towards the piles of boxes that were currently remaining in the yard. He had checked on both her and her husband earlier this morning, in the cover of the bushes so as not to be seen, and he could tell they had made quite a bit of head way in the amount of stuff that was to go into the house. Instead of opting to hide again the spirit decided that this time he would make an actual appearance. He had shown himself before to Yue and even conversed with her, however with her husband he was a bit more...careful. He wasn't sure the man's opinion of spirits, especially since one was currently attempting to whisk away his new wife, and so had tried to pass off as a regular black cat, despite the small wings and scythe rune on his forehead. Frankly he didn't think the human was convinced, but so far nothing had really been said or done.

Carefully the black creature weaved his way around the boxes, letting out a few purred meows to announce his presence. He didn't wish to startle either human with a sudden appearance out of nowhere without some sort of warning.

James had used the back of his hand to wipe his sweating forehead. He'd give a lot for some water at the moment, but he looked over at his newly wed wife and smiled. Yue was his love, she was so special to him. He went to pick up another box to move into the house, it was small, but there were only the two of them, unless Yue decided to change her mind and wanted to start a small family. It was his dreams, but he wanted to make sure it was okay with Yue, he wasn't the kind to just make the final decision, he liked feedback.

Before he could enter the house, something small and black had caught his attention and he put the box back on the ground. "Hey there little one..." Said as he slowly approached the feline. He didn't want to scare him off or anything. Slowly and easily he scooped the cat in his arms, he had noticed the rune shape in his forehead and the small tiny wings on his back. He didn't think anything new of it anyhow. He'd seen a lot of new and extraordinary things ever since his marriage with Yue. This shouldn't send him running for the hills. He actually liked the experience that he was getting.

"How'd you find your way into our yard?" He smiled at him. "Have you ever met my wife, Yue? She'd love you..." Said as he slowly walked with the feline in his arms and into the house to find Yue and show her his findings. "Yue!! Look at what I found." He smiled again, this time his glasses sliding down the bridge of his nose slightly.

Yue was in the back of the house putting everything place as she looked up at the sky, she knew they were running out of sun and didn't have time to rest. Yue was different from most humans of the Earth, she was almost never thirsty and had both black and white hair. She didn't really mind being different she actually liked it. It wasn't every day that a child is born with both black and white hair or not being thirsty. Yue looked around the yard then at the sky, seeing nothing but blue skies and the lovely sun. She got on her knees and gently placed her hands together, "Great Ocean Spirit, I wish you returned the waters back to earth. It is pointless for all this death to happen. I do not believe Tsuki would be happy to see this happening." she said in a soft, gentle and lovely voice as she stood up and dusted off her black pants. Turning around to head back in the house, Yue turned and saw a little puddle of water. She smiled with glee and walked to it. She took out a small container and put so water in it and walked back to the house "James will be happy to know I found some water for him." she said happily to herself.

Yue walked in the house and hear James call her, she placed the container on her hip and walked to him, "Yes, what is..." before she could finish her sentence, Yue looked in James's arms and seen a little cat in his arms. A smile spread across her face as she walked closer to James and gently took the cat out of his arms, "It's so cute, I love cats so much. But where did it come from?" she asked looking at the cat and noticed the scythe shape on its forehead and what appeared to be wings on its back. Yue looked at James and smiled at him the kissed his forehead, "Ack, taste like sweat." she said softly then gently pressed his glasses back in place. "This is a very odd cat. I don't think I've seen a cat with that kind on shape on its head." Yue said curiously gently moving her white bangs from her face to see the cat better.

Mason let loose a few more purring meows before the sight of the human male appeared in his vision. He meowed in reply to the male's words, choosing to play the role of a normal cat so as not to startle the human. He knew of course that his wings and rune did set him aside from a normal cat, but the human didn't seem to concerned by it. He again meowed as the male asked if he knew his wife and asked how it was he had found his way into their yard. The cat's tail gently swished back and forth as he was carried into the house.

Feline ears perked up as he heard the voice of Yue. She soon filled his vision as she appeared and gently took him from the male human's arms and into her own. He softly purred as she commented that he was cute. His light colored eyes quickly caught sight of the two toned colored hair that marked her unique. In truth he wished to fully speak to her, however he again didn't wish to startle the other human. Instead he opted to again play the role of a 'normal' cat and gently pawed upward towards her hair. The little wings on his back fluttered slightly as she commented that he was a rather odd cat. He wasn't too surprised that she had commented on such things since she didn't seem to exactly recognize him as the Death spirit, which wasn't sure if it was a good or bad thing.

Umi wanted to go see his reincarnated love. He wanted to see what she looked like again, but staying in the temple that was there to sort of hide. He didnt feel like looking at her anymore due to the memories she brought up. Maybe if he let it rain just a little bit, she would come to him. Unfortunately every time he thought about changing his ways of giving them water, the memory of Tsuki being killed would come back to him. He hated the humans. He hated what they did to his lover. He had killed death a few times when he said that he couldnt bring the love of his life back. He had killed him a couple times for having them agonize over Tusiki over ten long minutes. He couldnt even help her stay with them. Sometimes he blamed death for what had happened, but he couldnt really keep doing that. He saw the suffering of these people. He saw that half the human race had died. He needed some advice, but if he went to his brother, he would only be told to give them back the water. That was just not something he wanted to do period. Either way, he needed to see Taiyo. Being cooped up in a temper tantrum was just not good for him and he needed to be semi social. His mind quickly changed as he saw the humans once more, changing into his animal form and leaving the area.

~~~~~~~~~~~
The animals were all suffering from the heat of the sun and usually stayed underground so that they wouldnt get dehydrated easily. The muskrats had to give their food to their young so that they would just survive period. All of the animals daily lives were changed due to something that happened between the spirits. A light came to those muskrats there was a girl that appeared. She gave the little ones some juicy fruits along with the adults so that they could have something to keep them going. The beautiful fourteen year old looking girl decided to get up and walk around. Hearing the cries of her animals was too distressing to her. Of course she was not going to let loose that it was her fault all this had happened. It was all because she had been in love with the water god, but never got the chance to tell him when Tsuki came into the picture. She hated the moon spirit. So when the day came that a man wanted revenge for being rejected, she took that opportunity to give him what he needed to kill her. No one knew what she had done. No one was going to know about it. She made sure of it. Now she was paying the price, feeling her heart go out every day as more animals died from dehydration. She looked up at the sun, wanting to do something to help out. Going into her favorite animal form of a fox with wings, she flew up to the sun spirit. "Hey." She said softly to him. "When do you think Umi is going to stop this tantrum of his?"
Taiyo the entire time simply sat there in the middle of the sky as he slowly lowered himself every couple of minutes that had passed by due to the two hours he was supposed to be up there in the sky was slowly beginning to die down. So with the remaining time he had to stay there in the sky, the last thing he had expected to see from the couple of Tsuki's reincarnation and her newly wed husband was to find a small black cat. He wasn't exactly sure of it at the moment but something told Taiyo that wasn't any ordinary cat; whatever the case was he made sure to keep an eye on the couple and the cat itself just in case if anything bad were to happen to the couple; especially Tsuki's reincarnation. Knowing Umi, if anything bad were to happen to the reincarnation; he'd get even angrier and make the mortal world suffer even more than it already was. Giving a small little sigh to himself than shaking his head, Taiyo turned his head over toward the sea knowing that Umi was there probably still being angry about the humans killing his beloved Yue. Indeed, Taiyo had no idea how to know how he must've been feeling right now since the last time he had checked; he never really had a true love before let alone having one die before his very own eyes. It must've been tough, but still that didn't give Taiyo any thoughts that it was right of Umi to take away all the water of the mortal world and cause them to suffer so much.
All of a sudden, from a distance; Taiyo had seen what seemed like a smaller looking animal coming toward him. From the distance he couldn't really see it clearly but by the time it had come face to face with him; he could finally see that it was a small fox with wings. Giving a small wave and a soft smile across his face as usual to the fox saying 'hey' Taiyo remained in his human-like form rather than his spirit form since to him all that armor always made him feel rather uncomfortable. Hearing the question about when Umi would stop his tantrum of his. His own eyes widened up for a moment before looking over toward the sea and noticing how Umi was shockingly coming out of the water in his own animal form. Sighing quietly to himself before shaking his head and turning his attention back to the young fox all he could do was shrug his shoulders. "I'm not too sure. Thats his decision when he will finally forgive the humans for what they did. Which is highly doubtful, at this point...the only thing he seems to want is Yue to stop his tantrum by going with him."
Yue smiled softly as she started to pet the cat more, the cat started playing with her white bangs as Yue giggled softly. She held the cat a little closer as she shook her head a little, "This is odd. I feel as if I seen you somewhere before a long time ago." Yue said laughing softly, "Must had been a dream, but still you do look very familiar." she said gently stroking the cat's belly. Yue continued to look at the cat as she walked to a chair and sat down. A memory entered her head, it was an odd one. She was walking around and was a man, it wasn't James though the man seem to know her and be happy to see her. Yue wobbled a little and stopped leaning on the little counter and placed the cat on top of the counter. The memory faded as another played in her head. Yue moaned softly as her hair dangled on her sides and slouched forward, "Wh-What is going...on?" she whispered to herself as the memory played in her head it appeared to be peaceful...at the moment.
Umi finally walked out of the sea to see the sun was going down once more. It was the end of the 2 hour shift Taiyo was giving the people for the sun. He saw another up there, talking to him, wondering what they could be doing up there together. It didnt matter much to him. Now he just wanted to see what was happening with the humans. It was Tsuki's dream for the humans to live and prosper. He was taking that away from them now. He vowed he wouldnt so long ago, but she wasnt here anymore, or at least not here the way she use to be. She was human and already had a husband. There was no way he was going to be able to get her back. She was in love with another. But thats all he wanted. All he wanted was for his love to come back. They were suppose to die together. They were suppose to help the humans until the humans no longer needed them. His pegasus form walked along the area to see everything for himself. He wanted to see the damage he was causing. While he walked along the forested areas, he did give water to the animals and trees. They suffered from him as well when they did nothing wrong. If the humans found out what he was doing, they would probably kill everything here just for the water he gave them. When the animals and plants were no longer thirsty, he took the extra water away.
Kaori watched the ocean spirit walk across the water then take some water and give it to the animals and trees. "I dont know what its like to lose a loved one, but he must have loved her without a limit. I wish i could feel as deeply as that." She turned back to the sun spirit, moving with him as he brought the sun down. "Your his brother in law right? Could you do anything to help him cope?"
Soon enough by the time Taiyo had finally lowered the sun to the horizon where the last few moment remained for the sunset just for those other lovers out there that might've been getting together just now. He simply continued to sit there in the air while speaking with the young fox that flew next to him; watching as how Umi went onto the mortal world only to end up helping the forest animals and plants with his ability of water. Seeing that gave Taiyo a small smile on his face to see that he was at least that part of him still was helping the others even if it was a little bit. Slowly he had turned his attention back toward Yue, her husband and the small strange black cat that he had seen earlier only to end up seeing that she was carrying the cat into the house. Unfortunately enough for him, even Taiyo couldn't see anything happening within the house and he wouldn't be able to until he came down from the sky after the sun had completely set. So simply taking his eyes back onto Umi as he had helped the plants and animals with their dehydration only to end up taking the extra away when they were finally all satisfied. When the young fox had spoken up asking if Taiyo was his brother in-law why he didn't try to do something to help his brother. Glancing over toward the young fox with a little worried look, Taiyo simply shook his head. As if he hadn't tried to do that already, each time he would always try to convince how Tsuki would feel if she had known what he was doing now but it didn't seem to ever work. "I've already tried. He doesn't like listening to me...If you'd like..I can take you down to him with me; and you can try yourself." He stated watching Umi make his way around the entire time.
Mason was careful to continue to act like a normal cat, at least until he was out of range from Yue's human husband, so when she began to scratch his belly he let out a small and almost melodious purr. When the girl stated that he seemed familiar the cat gave her a stare of what looked to be understanding and almost confirmation before letting out another meow. It wasn't until she had begun to stop leaning on the counter and had set him down on top of it that he again looked at her with a rather understanding gaze again. His ears twitched a bit as she seemed to be getting flashes from her previous life as Tsuki.
Gently the cat stood and walked towards the edge of the count, before sitting once more. "You are experiencing memories of your past life I believe" came a quiet and almost sorrowful sounding whisper. The rune on his head began to glow slightly brighter as the memories seemed to continue through the female's mind, knowing that soon enough what appeared to be almost peaceful memories would eventually turn a bit more...negative and painful.
Kaori hesitated for a second. "Nope... thats ok. He wont listen to someone who is as young as me. Especially when he doesnt know me that well." She watched Umi with the sun god once more. "Besides. He is kinda scary when he's angry." She looked down to the shrine watching the lights inside the house flicker so the couple could see in the dark. The fire that was being used seemed to be so warming and inviting. She looked back at Taiyo. "I wish she didnt have to choose. She looks so happy with her husband."
[[ Guys, really sorry for this post, but Gothi' said to post it anyway > . < Sorry sorry sorry, working on not having internet D: ]]
James had been standing by and watching his wife, his Yue, with the cat that had turned up in their yard when he was still putting boxes inside the small house and trying to beat the heat of the sun. He had seen Yue smiling and giggling with the cat before she sat down, he took the time to move more of the boxes into the house and continuously swiped at his forehead with the collar of his white short-sleeved shirt.
He looked up to the sun and bowed his head in a sort of prayer. 'Please, be merciful tomorrow... the heat is killing us, oh spirit of the sun, take mercy on our race...'. James shook his head as he took a box into the kitchen that was labeled Plates, it had smiley faces on it from when he and Yue were joking around while labeling the boxes. "You like the cat, Yue? Wanna keep him, if the little feline doesn't mind?" James shook his head, thinking about the horrible what-if's. They had been the downfall to many great ones, and the epiphany to many others.
He heard her moaning and leaving the feline on the counter. He rushed to her side in a hurried panic. "Yue!!" He pulled her into his arms and brushed the hair back from her face, pulling some over her shoulders so that the long hair wouldn't get tangled on the two of them. "Yue... are you alright? Speak to me, Yue..." He pressed the back of his hand to her forehead.
(~`*`~*~`*]
Paulina had been watching the two people that were just now moving into their new house, she was their neighbor. Paulina wanted to welcome them into the place, but she had stayed, hidden by the trees. Yes, it was hot, the shade only made it better for her to withstand the heat. "Maybe they're just a little busy is all..." She smiled to herself, thinking her own accusation true. She could always come back later and welcome them, right?
Paulina took small, unsure steps towards their house, they still had many boxes on the yard, maybe she could offer help? No, maybe though, she may be short, small and a little slow in speed, but help was help, right? She shook her head, her long blonde hair touching the tops of her thigh highs. It tickled her a bit, maybe it was time for a new cut? Her mind jumped from place to place as she tried to remember what she was there for again.
Glancing back at the yard she remembered, only to glance up at the sky and shield her eyes with the back of her hand and wince in discomfort. The sun may have been up for shorter moments these days, but the light seemed brighter and brighter each day. She finally sucked up enough courage to take enough strides to the house, now she stood hidden behind the boxes. Paulina felt silly, but it made her giggle, peeking around the boxes she found that the man was holding his wife in the kitchen. Had she walked in at the wrong moment? She let out a long low whistle as she turned on her left heel, one leg outstretched so that she could start walking when she faced in the direction she wanted to go.
Yue started to breath hard as she seen the memory play in her head, the man that was in the memory had turned into what appeared to be his true form. Yue gave out a shriek as she suddenly pulled into her husband's arms. She started to breathe more steadily as she head James talking to her. Yue looked up and smiled softly, "I-I-I'm f-f-fine James. B-But what happened?" she asked softly then remembered that she had heard another voice near her, sheturned slowly to face the cat as it sat on the counter, "D-D-Did y-you j-j-just ta-talk?" Yue asked leaning a little closer to James a littlw worried that she had heard the voice talking. "And if you did, wj-what did you mean by, m-my past life?" she asked as her breathing started to slow down but ended up shaking a little as the memory continued to play in her mind.
Finally, once another couple of minutes had gone by Taiyo had completely lowered the sun to the point that it was gone from sight of any of the humans among on the mortal world. Lowering himself down from the sky down to the surface of the mortal world, he remained in his human-like form so that none of the humans that would see him walking around know that he was actually the sun spirit in disguise. His true form, with all that bright armor and long hair made it almost always too easy to tell everyone who he was since the humans didn't seem to forget what the spirits of world looked like at all after the first time they showed themselves to the humans. Walking on the surface, Taiyo slowly made his way over toward Umi wondering if his mood must've been the same as it had been last time with the annoyed and not wanting to listen to Taiyo's lecture of telling him to bring back the water to the world. Even he had known that his brother in-law probably wouldn't listen to him as usual about it; it didn't hurt to try and talk to him at least. So turning his attention toward the fox once more when it had said that Umi was scary when he was angry Taiyo nodded in agreement since he knew that much was correct. Indeed when Umi had gotten angry, it was almost as though he was a completely different person that even Taiyo didn't even know any longer but usually he only got mad at humans; simply for what they had done to his love. "C'mon, I doubt he'd be mad at you. Don't worry about helping him, let me deal with that. Come and say hi at least." he spoke with a soft smile, before making his way toward where Umi was first.
Kaori looked at Taiyo as he finished his last seconds of sun. When he finally touched down and told her to come with him to see Umi, she shivered a little. What if he found out about what she had done? This could all end badly. No one is going to find out what you did. That human took it to his grave and you will too.... Its living with it thats going to be the problem if you keep thinking like this. She smiled at the Sun spirit. "As long as you come with ill be fine going to say hi. He just seems so angry you know? Thans for coming with me." She turned to her human form so no one would suspect her either, as they made their way over to the Ocean Spirit.
Mason had opened his mouth slightly to try and give Yue some form of comforting words when her human husband, James he thought he had heard, entered and quickly turned what would have been words into a meow. He had been a tad surprised to hear the idea of possibly keeping him, however that thought was only a flash as the current situation was a tad more important. He could tell his voice had seemed to sort of startle the black and white haired girl, not that he really blamed her. After all his appearance was already unusual and hearing him speak was just the icing on the cake.
His head tilted to the side as she first question on if he had just spoke and then on what he had meant by his words. Light purple-silverish eyes glanced almost uncertainly towards both humans. He hadn't a problem speaking with Yue alone, after all she was a reincarnation of a spirit, but he was uncertain of what the male human's standing was when it came to spirits. Due to this the only real reply he felt was safe was a sort of purring meow, in an attempt of comfort. Ears twitched as he thought he picked up on a sound from outside that sounded very much like footprints. A sort of 'urgent' sounding meow came from his throat, hoping it would draw the male's attention temporarily away from his wife to investigate, though not before ensuring comfort on his wife.
As both Taiyo and the other spirit had made their way over toward Umi, he had heard from the female spirit that she thanked him for going with her to speak with the ocean spirit; Umi. Along with hearing that he looked rather angry; Taiyo couldn't help himself but to give a small chuckle at the thought that Umi looked so angry all the time. That much he had to admit was true although he couldn't really blame the guy because of what had happened to him. It was just knowing that had happened and how long it has been since that day kind of made it a little shocking that even to this time Umi still hasn't let it go yet. Zipping up his hoodie and slipping both his hands into his hoodie's pockets Taiyo had finally ended up walking up toward Umi from behind only to end up tilting his head on what he was up to at this point. "Hey there Umi. Like you to meet a little friend." He spoke before taking a step to the side to show him the young girl that had wanted to say hi to him.
Kaori walked with Taiyo down to where Umi was. She almost didnt want to go, but with the sun spirit there, she could totally go talk to the angry Ocean spirit. Or so she hoped. When they got there, Taiyo talked to Umi as if they had just seen each other before he had gone up in the sky to do his sun business.
Umi looked up at the two that walked over to him just before he went into his domain of the sea. "Kaori." He said as he stared at the girl. "We met a long time ago." He said as he started to walk back into the water as if he didnt want to talk to anyone.
"Wait!" The little animal spirit said before he could go into the water. "Thank you for taking care of my animals. They really needed the drinks." She took his hand in a gesture that made it seem like she was sincere about her thankfulness. "Do you want to chat with us for a bit? You know, socialize now that your not all alone?" She looked up at Taiyo as if to say help me.
