First of all, I DON'T KNOW WHERE THIS GOES. :gonk: I can't tell if it should go on computers, because it's not about computers, but it's related to the internet so hhhhhhhhnnnnnnnrrrrrrrrgggggg I don't know and I'm sorry.

Anywho.

I have recently become more interested in vloggers (Is this term right?), and now I follow a few of them... Mostly the ones everyone knows about, like Charlie, Jenna and Kingsley. And I was wondering what you guys think of this. Do you like/subscribe these vloggers? Do you have a video blog of your own, or are you too shy/boring? Are there any other blogs that you follow?

Honestly, Charlie is my favourite out of these three. He's very polite, interesting, funny, and dat british accent. :heart: As interesting as the subjects Jenna talks about are, and as valid as her points may be, I find that more often than not she loses her trail of thought and just goes "fucking, fuck, er..." and it kills it for me. I get the feeling she's still not very comfortable with talking to a camera or lacks skills when editing. I've subscribed to Kingsley very recently so I can't really form an opinion on him yet.

I am becoming a lot more interested in this blogging form, though I can't imagine myself exposing my ugly mug face to everyone on the internet. Hi Jessi Slaughter. Yeah. Not really into it all that much yet, though I have been playing with the idea of group vlogging, as in instead of one person, maybe two or three, a few of my friends.

Also, what do you think is the formula for creating an interesting blog/vlog? Do you find that the bloggers you're following all have certain characteristics in common, or are they all completely unique?

I'm asking a lot of questions. Oopsie.

i have interesting things to vlog about sometimes, but i'm too shy and inconsistent to keep up with it. i don't think i'd be able to take in all the hatred people would throw at me and still have motivation to put so much work into the videos, you know?

i used to do nothing but sit on my ass and watch the shay carl daily vlogs, along with a few others like charlie and jenna and philip defranco. these days i don't really keep up with any but nerimon, charlie, phil, and joseph birdsong, and the occasional jenna video.

i do, however, half-stalk a few 'famous' vloggers just for the amount of drama bullshit surrounding them. their videos suck and they're terribly irritating, but it's like reading a tabloid to feel better about your life.

I have a weird thing with cameras....it doesn't matter what type it is, I just hate them. I can sit there and talk about nothing and everything at the same time and keep people listening but I just can't record myself doing it. I am still thinking about maybe starting one just because but then the whole camera thing stops me.

Anyways, I used to be big into vloggers. I love Charlie<3 But the people on youtube really turned me off so I just lurk a Japanese like youtube all day since I can. XD

But if you wanna vlog, I think looks do matter, 'cause well... it is a video. Let's face it, all the girls that are famous are "attractive." I wouldn't really say the same for boys though, since well, no offense, Phil isn't the best looking guy. But he's HILARIOUS. Sometimes. That's the key. Find a theme and be funny.

I'm subscribed to quite a lot of vloggers. Charlie Mc Donnel, Shaytards, BretttheIntern, JennaMarbles, itsjudyslife.. hmm who else..

GirtheAlienGoldfish is a genius. She's so cool and smart. And her froggy hat ROCKS. She is a Crusader of Awesome. And her posters are sweet. She also sings and she's really good at it!

If you haven't subscribed to her by now, your life is missing something.

I watch Charlies because his facts are what fascinates me. Other than him, Asian people on the net catches me. Shimmycocopuffs and bubzbeauty. >> Korea FTW. ROFL

I watch one collab channel, called A Gay A Day, or AGAD for short. They crack me up, and their new Thursday is amazing. Other than that, I follow a guy called Luan Legacy (though his man sluttiness is beginning to get to me) as well as Charlie.

TheAmazingAtheist is a pretty interesting person. He's pretty obnoxious and he's all around kind of a douchebag, but he's interesting. He really likes bananas too.

omg no I love Jenna Marbles. Her videos are straight up hilarious.

No joke, my roommates and I watch her videos together every week.

I'm an amateur vlogger myself. I'm Apriletters, and I'm subscribed to great vloggers like TheVlogBrothers. :)

I love Kingsley. And I think what will get people watching your videos is controversy, in all honesty. Make a video commenting on something that has everyone freaking out. People will watch it. xP

DigitalDeity: I think you make a very good point, although... I don't think Jenna is atractive at all. In fact I think she's very very... Plain. It's not that she's ugly, but she's not what I find attractive in the slightest. She has small squinty eyes and her face is very angular. Then again, I am straight, so what do I know. XD (also yay you have clothes)

Also, I never watched any of TheAmazingAtheist's videos. To be honest, from what I hear, he's a fat prick (either literally fat or metaphorically fat), plus, isn't he kind of disrespectful? I don't know. I mean, I get upset just like the next guy, heck, maybe more, but eh... Also his username doesn't attract me at all.

Rosasharn: I think you're right, but infamy is something not a lot of people can deal with. By which I mean, of course, talking about controversial subjects, whilst being an extremely good and fast way to gain a lot of subscribers, it will also undoubtedly bring on a lot of hate.

idk, I think that Jenna Marbles is really pretty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that.

I think Jenna is pretty as well. I've watched a few of her blogs and they had me laughing as well. I don't go out of my way to watch her stuff but if I see it in the suggestions or if I'm bored then I'll watch her. I also watch Ray Williams Johnson every now and then. His stuff isn't something I can watch all the time though since it's immature and would get old but every now and then he's good for a laugh.

I like his dog. I don't really like him. TAA's a jerk to a lot of people. Seriously, when a theist asked him for a debate, he told him he never gets into debates with idiots.
