If you are wondering what turntable is, it's basically a place where you can hang out in rooms where certain types of music plays, and you can get on to the dj table and play your own music for points, or you can just listen to other people's music.
I generally hang around in Indie google+ (not that the google+ part means anything anymore), and I've discovered lots of great artist, and songs in there, as well as sharing some of my own favorite songs.
I go by sidrabutterfly there.
