Oh Kat, I hope you see this before you get on the plane.
You can take non-liquid food with you through security.

Once you are through security, whatever you buy, food or liquid, you can take with you on the plane.

Most people nowadays bring their food with them.

Be sure to either bring an empty water bottle and fill it after you get through security, or purchase some water at the airport stores.

It is good to stay hydrated while flying.

I'm probably eating at the airport since my flight isn't till 4:20.

Today is one of the busiest traveling days of the year.

It is possible that there may be changes to your itinerary. Planes have a tendency to change often. Whether it's times or gates, be sure you keep checking your flight while you are at the airport.

One time I had found the gate, and sat down to read my book.
About 10 minutes before the flight, I found out that they had changed the gate, and I had to run across the airport to a new gate. I almost missed that flight!

sounds crazy. my dad flies a lot so he gave me advice. thankfully this is a small airport.

It's a very blustery morning here in Austin. It has been raining all night, which is good because we really need the rain.

It was raining earlier this week. I was just about to go for a walk too!

I was raining last week. Ruined a painting. ._. And it is calling for rain on Monday.

I hope it cools down, if it does rain here. High 70's/low 80's is ridiculous this time of year, even for Florida. Although I guess I could go swimming...

Virginia has been in the lower 60's (and some days, in the 50's) and been in the lower 40's at night. Can't decide whether to keep the air conditioner on or to bring in the heater.
