both my brothers had to have physical therapy. they hated it so much but it did get them both back to normal. well, a new normal for them. they both had issues with their feet with a muscle growing too short and a bone out of place so they had implants put in to help it all straighten out and grow the right way. just after that and wearing boots so long they needed the therapy to gain back muscle strength.

My feet aren't that great as it hurts easily when I walk for too long (like, one kilometer), but your brothers' sound serious. D:
The therapy my dad's currently undergoing is trying to get his arm to be able to raise over his head again like normal people can. After the accident he could only raise it to about 90 degrees, but now he's almost able to comb his hair again, though he has to bend his head downwards to be able to reach the top.

that's still quite an improvement and really good for him :)

when did your a rem start hurting? was it after some kind of injury?

for my brothers its genetic. if we'd known about it when they were born they possibly could have gotten away with corrective shoes. >.< poor guys.

i've been in 2 and they are. and its the worst that second before it actually happens because you know its coming and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

Yesss. I've been in two since I started driving, that were all my fault, lmao. :sweat:
First one I was in a turning lane in the street (not near a light) waiting to turn into this autoshop (of all places... xD) and I thought I was clear, but nope. Hit by a car that popped the front right light out and bent the other car's back bumper all up.
The second accident I just kind of... swerved everywhere and into the ditch, flipped, and landed on the other side of the ditch.
It was one of those big grassy medians for highways. That one was scary. :gonk: I felt like I was dreaming.

I'm lucky neither one was my fault. once was someone doing the same turn like you did and the other someone slammed into me when I was stopped at a stop light. I guess they weren't paying attention and thought it was green and didn't see the white SUV? it happens...

my younger brother was in a scary one though. he was turning left on this 2 way 2 lane street. well the car behind him didn't want to wait for andrew (my brother) to turn so they tried to go in the oncoming traffic lane and zoom passed andrew while andrew was in progress of making his turn. they ended up ripping the front of the van off and made andrew spin out really bad. the worst part was it was also hit and run and still totaled that van.

I'm glad you're alright with the ditch one! that one would have scared the hell out of me! i can't imagine rolling or flipping or anything like that.

It's good those weren't your fault! The second one would have scared me. There you are just sitting at a stop light and boom. D:

Reminds me of an accident my mom got into too. I think she was at a stop light or something, and someone just rammed into her car. Half her trunk was gone (just... smashed into the car) and her back door was inside of the front door. I didn't know cars could compact like that... She was crutching around with a walker for a long while. Thankfully, pretty much good now.

Yeah. I got really lucky with the ditch one. I was in the left lane and swerved into the right lane and then back into the left lane before going into the ditch; so lucky I didn't hit anyone, lucky I didn't land upside down, and lucky I didn't land into oncoming traffic. o Ao
So glad I haven't gotten into any more accidents. (Hopefully not jinxing myself either.. :XD)

I still can't believe their car was ok enough to zoom off after inflicting that much damage. it happened late but police did go looking for cars that had been severely damaged. they never found anyone though.

the worst part about the accident I had while being stopped was she was going so fast and I saw her in my mirror and it hits that point where you know that even if that person slammed on their breaks they're still going to hit you. and I had this image of being flung into the intersection. so... you break too.. hard... and pull parking breaks. I'd rather get whiplash than be sent out in an intersection. at least that was my thought at the time. and for some reason I cheated whiplash. I'm not sure how...

your accident though sounds super scary. I'm glad you're alright though and your mom too.

Sucks they never found anyone! The guy that hit my mom also kept going, but his car broke down some miles later and he left it. O .o They did find him though.
